my understand is the big green circle require 4 ppl in it. but when i was watching this, the player is obvious in a large circle alone(@2:47), so how does this work?

Cairn has two kind of greens, those that require certain amount of ppl which comes in different size, and those greens that you saw at 2:47 which requires only 1 person even tho they are "big ones", 2:47 circles also explodes faster than "normal circles".

This is for the big-medium-small green circles you refer to:

Each green circle is in a fixed position and has a number of stars above it (1, 1, 2, 2, 4). The number of stars corresponds to the minimum number of players required to be in the circle such that its protection takes effect.

And this is for the 2:47 part:

Sword - Green circles will spawn around the arena after Cairn completes its Orbital Sweep attack; there is no minimum on the number of players in a given circle.Every green on that part of the video is of the same size.
