Can the Choya Pinata be a little more tankier?

Before meta week, i saw more fail choya maps than successful ones, it rarely ever succeeded due to high hp and huge defiance bar so without a commander tag/mentor rallying peeps to choya the group was mostly too small.. That said, i DO wonder if it has any scaling issues; small groups struggle to break that bar even once, yet a zerg can have it broken and dead within 4 seconds. Is it not scaling, or is it just scaled very badly?

To be fair, prior to them adding a Hero chest, very few had incentive to farm the Choya. I myself had killed it 1 or 2 times before this week. I imagine after the blitz is over, you will still have many people waiting for it to spawn, given it's a super fast way to a gemstone.

For funsies this morning, I decided to pay more attention to the surroundings and the TTK. I was able to count to 6 Mississippis from the time I used Springer bomb to when the Choya died. I don't care what computer you have or how bad the latency, I find it difficult to believe (though maybe not impossible?) that a player cannot land a single hit if they are where they are supposed to be when the Choya spawns. Again, I can't prove definitively that it never happens (can't prove a negative anyways) but I find it highly improbable.

Worth noting was as the timer to spawn the Choya ticked down to 10 seconds, the commander issue a squad announcement calling on all the "blues" who weren't at the waypoint to hurry up and get to tag. So if people are not getting this boss tagged, I have to assume it's because they weren't where they were supposed to be.

In any case, as Lexi said above, this will all change in a week. I feel strongly that there will be large groups waiting to kill the Choya hereafter, but nowhere near the same amount of interest.

This is why I think it could use a scaling adjustment. Sure, the large-group problem might not be a problem this time next week, but the small-group problem will still be there. And if they're adjusting the scaling anyway, they might as well look at both ends of the line while they're at it.

You didn't hit it with a melee character? What are you doing wrong?Waiting for half a minute?Running from across the map?I've never seen it die faster than about half a minute. If you're not around.. or are idle until the boss is almost dead..i don't know how to help you.It spawns right next to the waypoint. You'll have plenty of time to spam your 1 button before it dies.

So please, help me, help you.How are you unable to hit the boss in a half minute time frame when you know when we where it spawns?

Sometimes it spawns right next to the waypoint.

It has at least two other spawn locations, one of which is over by the corner of the wall to the north of the waypoint, and right now, it's dying in under 10 seconds, due to being a quick and easy part of the meta event.

Which is more than enough time to tag it. By Tuesday at reset, this won’t be an issue anymore and it’ll go back to taking 30+ seconds.

It seriously needs a MASSIVE HP buff. With the introduction of Hero's Choice Chests to PoF metas, a lot more people are doing said metas. And, since a lot of people are doing these metas, there's going to be like 80 people doing the Crystal Desert casino event, because of that, when the pinata spawns, it literally dies in like 2 seconds, and, since everyone is spamming skills, there's a massive amount of lag the second it spawns, making it very hard to even land a hit on it and get participation on the event. The health needs to be buffed to like 20 times the current amount or something, or at least add some scaling so it increases if there's more people, I'm tired of not getting any participation on the event because I didn't manage to land a hit on said 2 seconds.

And yet recently I saw the event almost fail, as there were only 15 players there, and many of them didn't understand what CC was...

And the piñata has never died "literally" in "2 seconds". Even during the Blitz it would survive at least 6-8 seconds. If a player is unable to tag the piñata with their 1-key in 6-8 seconds, I'd say they are then undeserving of an Amalgamated gemstone. This game has to require at least 'something' from the player to earn a reward, no?

Like I said in the other topic, it is impossible not to hit it. I have no idea how you manage not to hit a target that is almost standing still and is indicated on the map and even invul for a few seconds so you can get there. Is this something like slow staff related thing or what am I missing here?

Not everyone has a high end pc, there are plenty of younger people who play, that cannot afford good gaming equipment, as somebody who struggles with 1-5 fps and 2k ping after an hour of path of fire, i can say in my 3 years of playing i have only managed to graze the choya twice out of several attempts because of lag, and 90% of the time it is dead within 5 seconds year round.

I agree. I also experience huge lag when in Amnoon, which makes it really problematic when there is a massive crowd of people.

Also, it would be nice to do something about the like 90% of people just afking during the pre-events but getting the same exact rewards as those few fools (like myself) who actually do the pre.Or at least add some new items with those casino coins, that would be awesome too :)

Lower the character model limit. If that doesn’t work then reduce the other graphic settings.

You’re looking at like 3-5 coins depending on the round in order for them to “do their part”. If adjustments are to be made here then they must be made to every other meta with pre-events. People who don’t do portals to spawn SB don’t get credit. People who don’t do the pre-events for Modnir don’t get credit. People who don’t help claim at least one camp in SSC don’t get credit. The list can certainly go on.

I just did this event on EU on a Monday Morning - so definitely not peak times - and the choya died in a few seconds. Several people said they didn't get enough time to attack it, so they got nothing. :(

It doesn't happen every time I do the event, and I don't do it that often, but it seems like it's getting more common that it dies insanely fast and some people miss out.
