Is there no Lunar New Year 2021?

Hi, Either I am blind or there is indeed no info about if there is a festival just around the corner.. I think last year by this time it was already happening?

It's the only festival that varies in dates because it tries to loosely tie in with Chinese New Year which is never on the same date

Last year the New Year began on Jan 25th. This year The New Year begins on Feb 12th. My guess is the festival will be Feb 2nd this year if we follow usual 2 week cycles after content. If not, then the 9th is the next likely date

There's never any info or announcement until it drops like a bomb.Expect the event to start on the last tuesday before the Ox' year starts

As always, for most events an announcement is made 1 week before. Randulf.7614 summarized this and which dates are likely nicely.

It will happen in February and was included in their Q1 2021 roadmap.

Indeed but it’s never been big in GW2. It’s the smallest festival in the game by a wide margin.
