I wanted to buy BL keys to open a lot of chests but I currently live in Belgium so I can't buy those from the gemstore... Even though I could buy gems with ingame golds...I gathered 22 statues from BL chest over several weeks. of farming new characters as it is the only mean to get keys for me... And now I can't buy what I farmed for anymore ?That's not really cool from you, Anet. When can I expect to be able to buy those appearance again ? No one knows what will be on offer, sans the usual, nor how long before items will recycle back in, if ever.Keep an eye on the Patch Notes, and/or the Wiki for information.Good luck. Holykitten.3064 Posted April 21, 2019 Share Posted April 21, 2019 Black Lion Statuette stock rotates regularly.Viper armor skin set also rotates in the Gemstore and isn't exclusive to the Statuette vendor, so it’s not locked behind Black Lion keys.In both scenarios, it’s a waiting game. Illconceived Was Na.9781 Posted April 21, 2019 Share Posted April 21, 2019 Currently, Viper's Medium-Armor Skin isn't available to anyone, not for statuettes, not for gems, not for love.As mentioned, in both the gem shop and the statuette vendor, items rotate in & out. The advantage of the statuettes is that items remain for at least a month (often longer), coinciding with changes to the BL Chest contents. I have not been playing GW2 for very long but have come to really enjoy the game and the community that I have come to know through playing. However its little things like what I am about to explain that really upset me and make me question how I am investing my time. A while back I noticed that the Zodiac skins were being sold at the Black Lion Chest Merchant for 30 Statuettes. I have wanted the Zodiac Light skin for some time so immediately I started to farm for and save my Black Lion Statuettes. Today I found out that the skin I wanted was no longer being sold at the Black Lion Chest Merchant. After no indication on time before disappearing, no timer underneath the item nothing it just disappears. However, that is not what is first and foremost upsetting to me. What is really upsetting to me is the hours and hours that I have wasted farming gold and also Levelling characters to level 40 Just so I could stock up on Black Lion Keys to get more Statuettes as well as the fact that I do not know nor will ever know when the item I wanted will come back if ever!
