Full servers get a link so they can k-train 24/7 lower servers get red bl so they can wither and die ,at least give red bl to top server make them earn thier stuff , and remove trebs from the game ,blob servers will have to come out of smc to take walls instead of treb botters doing thier job.

i also highly reduced playing yet the last three weeks... the whole population got so cloudy focused, now if u get a group together, ppl just will avoid you or swarm around your in blob-cloudsize. now and then that's fun and fine, we got sometimes few good fights when the enemy has guildgroups. for me its not very tempting to play when all to do is karmatrains. (its nice for dailies surely.)

sorta agree @"cobbah.3102" that #1 (green) shoulda get RBL as hardest to defend hbl.but i highly disagree on the opinion to remove trebs from the game. last thing we need is content removing... every mode gets update and randoms still want to have content removed? for "balancing" the chaos? balance in Wvw is just utopian wishes. tell me how often u really fight on even numbers. not even +/-5 is really the norm, often not even +/-10.

like, why not heavily varying the siege? adding new kinds of siege stuff and new defenses as well. how about FINALLY upgrading the tactics that have no real use (looking at u, defense turrets). or about adding additional spendable skill points for some? maybe chooseable variants of siege, like fire catapults that u can buy for 5 superior catas as cost at some vendor?

the server who controls a zoneblob parked in SM would likely just ram your people down (gank) openfield even worse. if your server doesn't have the hardcore players online, numbers count.

besides, no... always one full server gets NO link, but that's the issue. that one server goes to survival mode, many ppl just won't play at all. as crimson said, our server did just only focus up on bringing a zerg for 2-3 hours every some day and the usual night-ppt ktrains for dailies and stuff.

i personally am at a point where i'd like to swap server, but then got zero plan where to. so i just started more other gamemodes... u cannot play mass pvp if u don't get people for it. this however is NOT like @"Karagee.6830" would suggest, "boycotting"... you just cannot play mass-pvp if u don't have players. u need around 35-40 people on metabuilds and classes to effectively fight opposing zoneblobs (or zoneblobclouds), otherwise the 60players just have a too big advantage. like if three heavy glass dps can just free fire (which they only can in superior numbers), it's not fun for the attackers either.

Actually EU Tier 1 Tier 2 are dead. There is only a bit of action between 6 p.m. to midnight it's ridiculous. Everyone knows there is a lack of player everywhere so It might be time to remove Tier 5 and more. We need to spam here the same thing again and again until they do something

the system kinda kills itself this way, yeah. especially lately, the matchups become, or feel at least, even worse than they used to be. apparently people move servers, just to find a similarily bad situation on the other servers.

also, threeways still lag, and the reduced map caps aren't helpful for fun either, since ur likely stuck on a border with a blob now, while the map that'd need the blob cannot get it since half of the group or more won't fit in.

for serious players, fighting clouds in blobsize is just boring. even if u farm them for 3 hours on day, who really wants to keep that very game for a whole week?

On some match-ups, it feels like pve. The only enemies are the NPCs

it's not actively dying. it's in this state since ages by now, not? the only changes come from players moving around the servers lol. at EU t1 this week u just gotta hunt the fighting groups, bc it's not easy to find them. crazy amounts of random clouders jumping around most borders. around prime, we had could not even field 40 ppl on full maps once again. there's sometimes half of the map just nowhere to be found, absurd.

then, on OS, we could field a blob for a organized blobfight lol. meanwhile the maps cleared up, after 1 hour we could still not enter the nearly half flipped home border map though.

people in t1 ppt'ing like there's no tomorrow, despite the real players bid them to not doing so. i just don't understand this.

like literally, by tryharding to win the ppt for t1, they destroy in the end everyone's fun. people might play less, skip whole weeks, completely reject defending stuff, because if u help them, only the karmatrain keeps running. and ur stuck in t1 with all those people living in their pvE world.

i started 2 weeks ago spvp due to this troublesome state and have yet the pre-last participation reward there by now thaha. parallel reached t4 in fracts, and i never did one of these before. and i wouldn't have started all that, if Wvw was even a bit better maintained and updated.

(surely, the rewards in both other formats are great. 2 grandmaster shard boxes in 2 weeks, a ton of gold from fractals and pvp rewards + extra dailies... soon i'll be rich, ya know?)

It's about time to open Gandara and SFR, unlike what happened to Deso twice last year, after most of our guilds transferred off. It was okay at first, until the second time Deso got thrown into T5 with no link and a full server.

Playing on ALTs doesn't really help keep the system 'healthy' either, but too many servers end up rather lacking population without a link. Yet some links become way too stacked and populations end up not being adjusted fast enough, to stop the growing queues and dominating servers who end up stuck in t1, past the first 3-4 weeks after the relinks.

No if you mean PPT. Well, that’s not completely correct. On NA there is SoS/YB. Maybe a couple in EU.

An effort to find fights? Many of the servers do. Which is also why many of them will only PPT in limited fashion: to get a server who only PPTs to actually fight over something.

EU t1 if full ppt on all sides by now. absurd... it's so bad (a lot of people knowing nothing about the game, its mechnics and fight movement but tryhard ppt in cloudy blobsizes for nearly full day coverage) that i'll finally move off... time to join old friends on other servers and lose other staying old friends.

it's really frustrating and sad that people still bring ANY worth into ppt score. one would expect they'll eventually realize that there's no worth in it. no rewards in that. not a single bag, not one lootbox, not one ascended coffer.

@"Charley.1489" a lot of comms tag up frequently. the veteran comms nearly burn out from tagging, and also not established comm you have usually issues getting enough ppl on tag. and sometimes just the server composition is that bad that you may get 30 ppl as not-regular tag, but half of it is just classes that cannot make any effect in groupfights. it's not fun to lead that. usually ppl are very cloudy in non-voice tags as well, making it regardless of numbers extremly hard to fight anything.

new comms often just feed the others, if they run against a far more experienced tag, which also lower morale on all sides. some players will swap map, others just log off, or eventually the tag just stops. problem here is when inexperienced tags run during "rush hours", while they should get their practice basically when the enemy doesn't have two zoneblobs or three good zergs running

but still, there's enough ppl owning tags. some old comms show up only now and then, some burnt out from leading too much. game's incredibly time consuming, but ppl do that because they simply like the format much, i suppose.

Well ANET you need to look at WvW and spend a little time on each server in WvW and does not need to be very long just long enough to see how and what is going on in WvW and the coverage for each time zones. SEA, EU, Oceanic and NA for better understanding on relink pairings for future server relinks.

Maybe it is time to open more tiers based off server coverage and server populations to help with a little balance.

Some of the full servers have massive coverage in all time zones. So these one should not have servers linked to them at all.

You do realize that as soon as the links are picked, people jump to servers paired with another server right?

I am sure if we actually could see the metrics, (and they won’t ever show us btw) it would show that the linkings make sense when they release them.

Shortly after release though, the bandwagonning commences, thus effectively destroying why servers were linked the way they were.
