Respawn timer?

Currently working on getting the griffon mount. What's the respawn timer for the Legendary Corrupted Facet bounty?

That information isn't shown anywhere. The rule of thumb I use is a maximum of half an hour since the bounty was last taken from the bounty board/it last despawned or was killed.

I've been at the bounty board for close to an hour, nothing has popped up yet.

I checked the generic bounty page and the specific one (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Legendary_Corrupted_Facet) and can't find any information on respawn times. I haven't heard of a problem with the CO bounty board, so maybe the legendary ones take longer to respawn.

I would stay on the map you're on - changing maps may mean changing to one that has an even longer timer.

Okay, there is definitely something wrong with that map. I would put that into the bugs section.

Just respawned about 20 minutes ago, had to change maps

Facet spawns half hour after it was killed/despawned and appears on the bounty board in the SE of the map. If it wasn't spawning and you were at that board, it's likely to have been a bug.

But, you got it now so all good

Same crap is happening again but now with the deadhouse event. At this point I'm thinking GW2 is just a broken game that the devs refuse to do anything about!

Same kitten is happening again but now with the deadhouse event. At this point I'm thinking GW2 is just a broken game that the devs refuse to do anything about!

Events in GW2 bug. It's a complex code and things bug out randomly. It's annoying and things aren't always fixed fast, but almost every event bug fixes itself after a reset or when a fresh map starts up. The bugs tend to be caused by nearby events and escorts are especially prone sadly

Ended up logging out for a bit to change maps. Logged in and only had to wait a few minutes before the event happened.

It's not surprising that you can't do it alone, very few people can because it's designed to require a group.

The best way to get it done is to collect the bounty from the board then, before going out to the pyramid and before spawning the boss put a listing in the LFG tool (use the Crystal Oasis section, not the achievements one) to let people know you're doing it and advertise it in map chat. Also ask your guild/s to come and help you. (It's very, very important to get a group together before the boss spawns because otherwise it's unlikely there will be enough time for people to see your message, stop what they're doing and get out to the pyramid to help.)

If that's doesn't get enough people you could ask one of your guilds to organise a group at a time when you're available - giving people more notice that it's going to happen makes it more likely they'll be available to help. Or let us know whether you're on an NA or EU server and someone here can arrange it for you.
