Make crafting less timeconsuming! Once u have made any recipe thexway it's made today, u learn to craft the item material right away. I'll make an exsmple:U want to craft a bow. U have all materials needed for it, but they are not made into pieces (strings etc) yet. When u have crafted it once before u now have the ability to craft the entire bow (including refinement, making of pieces, dowels) wothout doing all the clicking for every singel piece and refinement.U get a warning asking: Do u want to use these materials (listing the mats required), for making this bow. By clicking "yes" u start the crafting process thst makes all steps automaticly as long as u have everything u need for it!

This could be a core Tyrian mastery even.

I would really like for this to happen, but I very much doubt ANet will ever implement a way of getting legendary armours outside of raids. For one, they'd face a lot of very vocal opposition from raiders.

You can already make it through wvw or pvp

Not a big change, but letting warclaw use the 2nd wxp ability (The one that gives its speed boost to nearby players) at default, or through a pve mastery (somehow).

This would give the mount a own niche use in pve, without stepping on the other mounts. And possibly make it popular with players that want to help new players before they get their own mounts, or f2p players.

The Warclaw's Battle Maul skill says that it changes depending on the game mode, so they do have the foundation in place to do some additional stuff in PvE if they wanted to. They could've made the Warclaw and Raptor interchangeable in both forms of content and made the choice more of a cosmetic thing. Instead of that, they wrote the Warclaw off as a WvW only mount after making the damage of Battle Maul match the damage of the Raptor's Tail Spin.

I wouldn't mind if they did something to make the mount have some unique, yet marginal, utility. If they go down the route of making it unique within PvE, they could probably also toss in things like making the Sniff ability pick up nearby players on the map. That would make it a bit of a social interaction mount.

I kind of wonder what the people that hate PvP game modes would think about the Warclaw having some hard to notice utility, though.

SInce Warclaw is a WvW mount, if people want the second skill they should do WvW for it, even if it becomes usable in PvE (which is a good idea actually), It's just the second skill so not much WvW involved anyway, and that way they don't need to insert additional masteries just for that one skill.

But yeah, i'd love for that to be usable in PvE, i mean, there's no reason not to.

That would be cool too! And also something to maybe get people into WvW if they want to master it. I don't see a reason to have separate PvE masteries on a Warclaw, the first two can be basically copied to PvE, and just ditch the last two (siege and player dismount).Would be cool to have a mount that works in PvE but you have to master in WvW. Would make it pretty unique too.

I'd say the Sniff ability would also be useful to find nearby allies, but the truth is allied players should probably be marked on the map in PvE by default since the population has dwindled alot and it'd help with ad-hoc social grouping.

WvW already supports this, I never understood why PvE doesn't.

Again ( and again and again and again ). PLEASE give us option to DISABLE visual effects of LEGENDARY TRINKETS.

I am myself, and i think so does many other did craft those not for the sake of visual effect it brings, but just for quality of the item.I did craft them, and i use them not for fancy aura effects or nothing, all i wanted are properties of Legendary item. With Legendary Trinkets i've been able to spare Agony Infusions with stats, and use single one in all templates for respective infusions slot. But visual effect those items bring are not important.

Before someone starts the argument of 'People have rights to show off what they have' - I want to disable it on my characters, not on everyone else.Backpack's checkbox in character sheet is example and already implemented into the game. Do same for Trinkets, please.To say more we can transmute backpack into non-legendary skin, and so does armor and weapons.

My suggestion is to integrate LFG and EVENT TIEMR.

I've read this article's comment, and I've confirmed that there is nothing about it.

I've been playing since the first month GW2 opened.

In my opinion, the biggest attraction of GW2 is the meta event.

And we are using external programs or websites to find this meta-event.

And in order to view meta-event content, obtaining information from outside the game will act as a barrier for first-time users.

It is also causing inconvenience to existing users.

These can't cover all time meta events

What I want is to include a generally unknown time event that is lacking in the in-game description.

In my opinion, I would like to support the same level as the EVENT TIMER of the GW2 wiki in the game.

I don't really know if this was posted before but Guild Wars 2 combat often gets clutter with visual effects that either become visual noise or fps drain, so I really wish some of these options were implemented:

  • Option to hide all player characters model;
    • and an option to exclude party members' models;
    • and an option to exclude squad members' models;
    • and an option to exclude enemy players' models.

We do have an option to limit the character models but sometimes it limits the number of enemies we can see or the NPC we are escorting.

  • Option to hide all player names;
    • and an option to exclude party members' names;
    • and an option to exclude squad members' names;
    • and an option to exclude enemy players' names.

We also have one similar to this but they don't hide squad members' names and sometimes your squad gets filled with 50 players which becomes a huge cluster of names.

  • Option to disable only friendly player area-of-effect rings.

This one is a good source of visual noise, you can disable the area-of-effect rings but it disables both friendly and enemy AoE rings/telegraphs.

  • Option to disable other players skill effects;
    • and an option to exclude party members;
    • and an option to exclude squad members;
    • and an option to exclude enemy players.

Last but not least, I really don't care about other players' skill effects in some fights and they drain your fps to almost zero in world bosses fights.

Is there a feature in the Guild Hall to raise a statue of a member? It would be a great way to remember the guild's heroes of the past.Using the model of a certain character ID, capturing a movement and then convert into a static model. Then add a story to the description. Maybe giving all other members a section where they share their experiences and stories sorted in categories (following a template created by the guild?). It would also be a great way to add to the guild's history books.

Instant mount switching to make constantly switching mounts more fluid.

What we have now:Player dismounts while on the raptor.Character jumps off the raptor.Character lands on the ground.Player calls the skimmer.Character jumps off the ground.Character lands on the skimmer.

What would be better:Player calls the skimmer while on the raptor.Character jumps off the raptor.Character lands on the skimmer.

Wait what backpacks? last i played you couldnt dye backs. And really i dont see the problem adding basic dye to a weapon

Greetings.

I came back to the game a few weeks ago and discovered the magic of build templates and being able to swap from one build to the next in one click.Being able to go from hfb to cdps or power banner to condi banner is just so easy and convenient as well as useful if you raid or do CM among many of the late game features.

I also strongly believe Fashion Wars to be part of the end game content for Guild Wars 2 and have had quite some fun mixing up the different armours and colour schemes to create totally awesome looking characters as well as using the build templates to have fun with different "outfits". (My warrior had a dark menacing look on his BS build and a more angelic version of it for the condi version of the build with the black and white feathered wings respectively)

Sadly, even if I can have fun with the different build templates to create different styles it seems to be limited by the "equipment" tab itself. Of my two different warrior build it is not possible to lock a glider to a template, aka, my "angelic" warrior will glide with dark wings or the opposite.I have also noticed the issue with the store outfits that hide all of the templates, the mount dyes or skins that are character locked similarly to the glider dyes.

I feel that Guild Wars 2 is missing out on a great opportunity in allowing us to customise our characters better as well as the cool looking outfit like the new Mystic scholar outfit that despite looking awesome will probably never see the light (mostly because I can't be asked to click it on and off every time I swap a builds but still!)

  • Anyway, please make it so build templates can be locked in with different gliders, mount (skins/dyes) and outfits :v
