SMS authentication but NO LONGER have access to that phone number, please help!

Title says it all; I haven't had to worry about authentication in over six months because I only ever access my account on the same device. But I'm upgrading to a new computer that is arriving Monday, and only now realize that my authentication number is an old phone number that lapsed over six months ago. I NEED help now, or I'm going to loose access to my account.

I have submitted 3 tickets on this and each time I get the same canned ham response that I need to submit a ticket through my registered email. I did that as well and still get canned ham response with no confirming email that my ticket has been submitted. I have been locked out of my account for 2 weeks and am getting pretty bent out of shape about the lack of support I am getting on this. Just update my number or unlink the phone so I can relink it myself. Why is this something you have to do for us anyway?! If we can login to our account then we should have control over this setting.
