In the future, you need only post the very first part of the Crash Report. Nothing glaring shows up; you can contact the Tech CS Team via the 'Support' link above/below and 'Submit a Ticket' for assistance.
Yep I get this randomly these days, for the past month or so. I've tried multiple nvidia drivers, still happens. Win7 64 bit, gtx 1060 6GB. I've ran repair and deleted the gw2 local roaming appdata folder to reset things too. It can happen anywhere in game. Not just when lots of players are around. I can do dragon stand metas with 100+ people around fine, but randomly crash like just now in the middle of snowden drifts with almost no one around and using only ~2.7 GB of ram.

So further to yesterdays logs I have crashed another 4-5 times.
Done a /repair
Just sat in Verdant Brink flax farm spot doing nothing and yet again another crash
This is happening to too many people on different machine set ups to be anything but a GW2 fault.
Going to try and move GW2 to my second SSD.

I was getting that message/error a LOT, like 10+ times a day. It was one of the reasons I took a break was it happened at the most annoying times.
It ended up being Malwarebytes that was causing the crash. I have not had a single repeat of those errors since I removed it from my machine.
Hope this helps...and good luck.
Has anyone found anything new with this?? I'm getting it as well and have been for a while. It's not malware.. I ran malwarebytes and my computer is clean. Thanks for any help..this is getting annoying

Did you try removing (or just disabling) the program, Malwarebytes, as the above poster did? It's worth a try. There are other anti-malware programs to use, if it is, indeed, a problem with Malwarebytes.

Before my 1st (of 3) computer formatting, I thought Malwarebytes could be the root of my crashes. So I formatted the computer and installed ONLY the "new" Windows 10 (1709), running with its Windows Defender and the Nvidia driver installed by Windows Update. Nothing else. Downloaded the game and even with that "super basic" computer configuration I still got crashes.
Malwarebytes, on my case, is not the reason of my

I've had the same error. In my case it manifests as GW2 freezing entirely (music continues to play.) My PC is otherwise fine, pulling up Task Manager lets me nuke GW2 with no other apparent ill effects to my system.
First cropped up about a month ago, and after the second time showed it wasn't a fluke (had played the game quite a bit up until then with no issue) I updated my video drivers. Thought that had done the trick, but recently it came back twice, kicking me out of a Teq attempt (costing me credit the second time.) It hasn't done it on other bosses so zergs don't seem to be a factor, and my incidents a month ago could be entirely random.
It does seem to be coincidental with in game holidays, somewhat (crops up just before a holiday, not sure if something might be going on in the background or if that is just bad timing.)
No Malwarebytes on my machine (only the default Win10 AV in fact.)
It shouldn't be system horsepower, I'm running Win10 Pro 64 bit, on an i7-6700K (not overclocked,) with 32 GB DDR4, an NVidia GTX 1070, and GW2 running off an SSD (Crucial MX300.) Representative crash header below (it is always the same memory address for me, all f's.)

I can't stop crashing so I went to Reddit in hopes someone could help. No malwarebytes on my system.
I can't play for more than a couple of minutes to a couple of seconds and I crash. I either just crash to desktop or I get the error box up or I get the last frame filling up my screen and no way to get to a desktop.
I am virus/malware free. I don't use any addons and I just reinstalled Windows 10 fresh and I have done 12+ hour memory testing without a single error. I have tested my CPU with Prime95 and never above 55c on my Ryzen 5 1600 so I am stumped.
Here is my last crash log if anyone can decipher it to see what is going on and help please:

Good luck.
I have done a -repair and support is useless in this instance (I believe someone else said about the same earlier in this thread and I have to agree with them).

Try installing a MS C++ redist package. x86 for 32-bit client and x64 for 64-bit client. The file that's causing the crash is a C++ source code file.

The first section. GRModel.cpp, where .cpp is a C++ file extension.
We see that in one of the dump files, the crash occurred when DirectX was destroying the allocations. In the other dump file, there was one-bit corruption involved. We could be looking at RAM failure or the Video-Ram failure (Graphics Card failing).
But, before that, kindly follow the below steps:
Please remove any MSI Software present on your system. Also make sure that there is no trace of the drivers highlighted in RED on your system. You can check this by doing a manual system-wide search for the driver name. If you find one, just rename it to "NTIOLIB_X64bak.sys".
Please rename the AODDriver2.sys located at the path - "Location: C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\Fuel\amd64\AODDriver2.sys"
If you are still facing problems, kindly start with the free diagnostics over here (Start with Memtest and then Furmark first) - http://carrona.org/hwdiag.html
In addition, try re-installing DirectX and make sure to also install DirectX 9.0c on Windows 10, because DX12 isn't downward compatible.

I have a brand new motherboard, new nvme the game is installed on, and a brand new video card and just tonight it has hit me again twice in two different areas (second one after I did a repair). I had about a month of no errors then whammo so fun while it lasted. I have read that the only cure for those afflicted, after trying everything to fix it, is to uninstall the game and find a more modern one as we can't be helped.
It happens regulary on loading an instancied zone (guild hall, dungeon, etc.) but it does not crash every time I load such a zone. It never happened in other circumstances. The problem seems to have started around the halloween update.
Please note that the problem has nothing to do with Ashantara.8731 answer, as the resolution he's quoting is about a BSOD and is based on the resulting window's crash log.
Here, we're talking about gw2's client crash, not a BSOD.
I've sent the error log to A.Net each time, and I'm still waiting for a fix.

So 2 Days ago this exact problem started for me with the "Failed to resolve AimIK bone indices",thing is i never had a crash before on gw2.
So got me thinking, what changed??what exactly changed?what did i do?
-mapLoadinfo
thats what changed,i loaded that command-Line Argument in 2 days ago to see what happened when i load Lion's Arch map(i have a problem that only in lion's arch map it stays stuck on "STATE_LOAD_MANIFEST" for 3 minute, then it loads normally)
sure enough i took -mapLoadinfo out and stopped crashing

In the future, you need only post the very first part of the Crash Report. Nothing glaring shows up; you can contact the Tech CS Team via the 'Support' link above/below and 'Submit a Ticket' for assistance.
Good luck.
Good luck and you might as well play lotto too. Because I got no where with tech support a couple months ago with this issue but, you never know!
Also getting this on a regular basis. Very similar error log.
Was happening on old graphics card so updated to 580RX and was fine for a couple of days and then started crashing again.
It's best to click 'Show Details' and post the first part on the forums, or contact the Tech CS Team via the 'Support' link.
Good luck.

I notice that "Model 0x08223a" and "Model 0x080b24" appear in both our crash logs, and in multiple logs of mine. Maybe there's a problem with a specific model in certain circumstances?

Good luck.

Malwarebytes not installed so no not the reason.
Got fresh install on 2nd SSD and hoping this solves the problem.
No Malwarebytes on my machine either, and I'm getting this crash. In the past 20 minutes, it has crashed 5 times in a row. I've been in Bitterfrost Frontier the whole time.

well settled down for a few days after I updated the Bios and moved to alternastive SSD.
But back again but not as frequent at the moment..........

Edit: It looks like folks in this thread are having similar issues. There may be a few other threads of this too, not everyone seems to know where to check for errors.

This file looks very suspicious - try removing it or disabling it from running, then try running the game:
\Temp\sizer_dev482\sizerhook64.dll
That's a window-sizing app from Brian Software. There may be conflicts.

Have you tried a -repair of the client?
Contacted the Tech CS Team via the 'Support' link above/below?
Good luck.
I have done a -repair and support is useless in this instance (I believe someone else said about the same earlier in this thread and I have to agree with them).
Try installing a MS C++ redist package. x86 for 32-bit client and x64 for 64-bit client. The file that's causing the crash is a C++ source code file.
Which one and what part of that log file indicated it was that causing my issues?
The first section. GRModel.cpp, where .cpp is a C++ file extension.

Yep, it is getting so bad that I can't even stand in LA anymore or CRASH.
This is not a new issue. Check the first reply in this thread and see if that can help you:

We see that in one of the dump files, the crash occurred when DirectX was destroying the allocations. In the other dump file, there was one-bit corruption involved. We could be looking at RAM failure or the Video-Ram failure (Graphics Card failing).
But, before that, kindly follow the below steps:
In addition, try re-installing DirectX and make sure to also install DirectX 9.0c on Windows 10, because DX12 isn't downward compatible.

I have a brand new motherboard, new nvme the game is installed on, and a brand new video card and just tonight it has hit me again twice in two different areas (second one after I did a repair). I had about a month of no errors then whammo so fun while it lasted. I have read that the only cure for those afflicted, after trying everything to fix it, is to uninstall the game and find a more modern one as we can't be helped.
Same problem here, I keep getting client crashes.
Extract for gw2's client error log:

Hope it helps some of you guys.
Necro but add me to the list of people that are having this issue. Ive played this game actively since release with no problems and woopsie doodle now all of a sudden it's cucking me too.
