Hut at north camp removed

So anyone else notice they removed the trading hut thing at north camp, and it looks real odd. I thought it was just not rendering in game at first but turns out they got rid of it. Anyone know why?

    Let's hope nothing else breaks or we will be left with 100% open field, though some might prefer that. ;)

    They did not remove it, its simply bugged. Sometimes its gone, when you lose or recap it the house may come back.

    mmmm, I actually like the sound of a wide-open map as a fun break from all the fortifications and siege. BG probably hates the idea, therefore it's at least worth considering. B)

    It seems to have broken somehow during one of the last week's patches. I made a topic about this earlier with a video in it, first time I spotted the building going bonkers was last Friday https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/21102/walking-through-the-walls-glitch-or-rangers-got-buffed#latest

    lol, it comes and goes.. last night it was there for me.. today it's not... and so on...

    I walked through it today and spiked an enemy player. Felt weird.

    I use it to stack with havoc groups and bomb. I say leave it the way it is, it's really nice as a small crew can annihilate a much larger pug group by surprise. Lots of rage whispers from pvers!

    It has a cool effect atm that may make for a good effect for skills. Ground target effects act as if its there but projectile go right though it. Maybe a wall or cover skill would work well with this type of effect with out making another anty-projectile skill.

    Add this to the list of wvw bugs;

    South East Garrison glitchy wall,
    Green dolyak gets stuck at South East Garrison gate,
    Sparks on walls

    ...are the ones I know about. Doubtless they're all, "being looked at".

  • Since we're talking about the north camp, has anyone ever noticed that when Red owns it, there are guards right at the portal but when Green or Blue own it there are not guards at the portal?

    Possibly a nod to the infamous "red shirt" security teams in the Star Trek universe, the ones that always died on away missions? :)
