Idea: Specific racial skills at WvW

The idea would be to increase strategic and tactical opportunities using specific racial skills at WvW.
Each character would have an additional racial skill slot in his skill bar allowing a choice between the available racial skill for his race.

The goal is to increase both:

  • Strategic and tactical opportunities;
  • Group play using racial combos;
  • And the fun.

Each racial skill must have an intrinsic negative consequence that can be countered by allies in order to diversify the possibilities of the group game.

Racial skills ideas:

  • Asura: Can be thrown by catapult or trebuchet (so can go over doors and walls).

    • Undertaken fall damage upon arrival (making fall damage abilities usable as well as fall damage reductions)
    • Each weapon can launch only one asura at a time.
    • Bouncing on the bubbles which increases the fall damage suffered.
  • Charr: Can move wheeled seat weapons (Catapult, Ballista, Trebuchet ...).

    • The weapon is unusable while moving and the Charr moving the weapon can not do anything else during a move.
    • The weapon is destroyed if the Charr moving the weapon is killed.
    • The speed of movement is slow but can be boosted by speed or super speed (but not by portals)
  • Sylvari: Can grow ladders and walls of creepers.

    • These ladders and walls are extensions of the player; a% of the damage they suffer is returned to the Summoner.
    • The death of the summoner leads to the destruction of his invocations.
    • Any fire damage (burn or fire zone) on these extensions deals 100% of their damage to the Summoner.
    • The walls are body block for allies and opponents.
  • Human: Can invoke areas of transformation into one of the human gods.

    • Transformed players are linked to the zone's Summoner; a% of the damage taken is returned to the Summoner.
