    Yes when an objective is flipped, there is a claim window for guilds whose members helped cap the objective.

    If you want +5 you need another guild to claim it.
    I have created a guild to do that.
    But at the moment it's a bit tedious have to select auto run then have 2 panels fill my screen, the Guild Panel to change guild, and the objective panel to claim the objective.
    Would be so much easier to have a settings option in the Guild Panel which will allow you to set which guild to rep (Already there as the tick box)
    But also another setting to set which guild to use to claim objectives. Simply add another tick box for that.

    This way you can run in WvW repping your main guild, and then you want to quickly claim a camp or small tower for +5, again you can then do that in the objective panel.

    I truly understand what you are asking for. The problem with this? One solo player could have 5 objectives claimed on a map. That's not helpful. Not at a quick perspective. It should have to cycle through the claim priority.

    If three guilds are on tag, the other two should have an option to claim if the first priority doesn't want it.

    Now, having a way to do it if all members of the first priority guild decline, to bump up the priority to the number two etc, that would be great.

    But replying to what you have written; which is different from what i have put forward:
    If no other guild on the map claims anything at all on a map, and if one player has spent the time, gold and resources upgrading their own personal guilds to give +5 or whatever other buff, then why shouldnt that one player help the entire map by claiming 5 objectives?!
    If no one else can be bothered, and this person did bother, then shouldnt they be allowed to claim all they, and their server needs?

    There is already a feature which allows the guild with most players who capture an objective to claim first.
    If that guild does not claim then there is a 10 second timer for the guild with the second most players who helped.
    then another 10s if the second guild doesnt claim.
    The problem here is that you proposal relies on every single player who has the right to claim on the claimable guild clicks they do not wish to claim.
    in WvW things can be busy that players ignore the claim popup and just let the timer die.

    So in your instance I think anet have applied the best solution, a 10s timer for each guild which can claim the new objective.
    But yes waiting 30 seconds for you to claim it in the first 3 guilds do not, is a very long time in WvW
    Maybe they should reduce the timer to 5s instead.

    If they had a way to differentiate a basically solo player as being on the map, I agree. I also have three guilds and we routinely use three to four (with a co player) to do what you have noted. I definately see how it would be easier, but I worry that it could be abused if there was no way to control with larger groups. That's all.

    ANET could I make a simple request? (I hope it is)

    On Desert BL around the Air Keep, could you move the wind sound effect to the environmental volume slider?

    Right now it is on the general Sound Effects slider and sometimes it is so loud it completely drowns out the sound of skills and fighting, and in general is pretty irritating because it is obnoxiouslly loud. The sound plays when you have the shrine buff I think, and could use some QA attention.

    Squad and gruops colors needs to be adressed IMO.
    Your assigned group players inside the squad could apear purple or green just like party players apears blue color >_>

    if a player unticks the squad grid view it gets broked up as well... :_\ needs to be fixed or dsabled?

    Character switch possible without having to re-queue or ability to change character without affecting place in q if queued already.
    Diff colour for party members within squad
    Ability to turn off the Blah blah server has taken blah blah objective banner notification.

    Would it be possible if you could look at the interaction between the master of manipulation trait in the chaos specialization and Mass Invisibility? In it's current state, when you finish casting mass invisibility and are running that trait then it "buffs" you with projectile reflection and if you do in fact reflect a projectile, then it reveals you, rendering the entire skill useless.

    Give us the ability to hide or move permanently the stupid pop up at the top of the screen at the end of skirmishes. The amount of times its popped up and covered up and enemy makes me sad.

    Yes! Make it so that whoever fired the projectile in the first place gets revealed.

    • Make siege use supply as ammo
    • Party color different from squad color
    • Let us have a focus target (like WoW)
    • Make objectives like camps, yaks and sentries behave similar to bloodlust nodes, if nobody is there they go neutral, that would split the zerg and counter off time zone population a bit
    • Switch character without having to re queue
    • Keep same rewards track after finishing it
    • A more expensive transfer cost option that would let us earn pips after transfering (please)
    • Mounts on desert BL (no skills, just for speed)
    • Remove objectives buffs (Presence of the keep)
    • Make the breakbar for banners go down faster and make people carrying a banner have a bigger model and have an icon on top of them
    • Remove stats bonus from bloodlust
    • Make recipes from Living World story available on the vendor
    • Add a ferocity infusion
    • Make the scourge visual effects less aids, the amount of visual effect going on the screen is enough without that

    Idk what else :(

    I would like to see new WvW skills added (seperate from guild bonuses) for those who enjoy helping to defend camps/escort dolys. For example, a skill you can put points into that will increase dolyak speed for dolyaks that you are defending/escorting (stacks with swiftness, only active by one person, does not stack with speedy yaks).
    Also, I think the participation rate gain for doing the less popular tasks (camp defense, doly escort) should be increased closer to what they were pre nerf. The reward/effort ratio for this is totally skewed in the wrong direction.

    Tell the players how you intend the game mode to play, and make it that way.
    If you truly want people to take and hold structures (and fight over them) to determine who wins (ppt), than make that the only way to score points. Remove KDR and points earned from kills.
    You make changes to other game modes so that people play more the way you envision, you need to do that in wvw. It won't stop them from roaming, or small-manning, or even zerging, but it will tell the playerbase "what" you intend. The game mode needs those playing to focus on the same idea, and that isn't happening atm.

    The world restructure is not going to improve the game mode if you don't give the game mode a single identity.

    Remove the guild buffs from structures, or at the very least, smc.
    Move red keep in EBG further away from SMC. They should not be able to treb each other.
    Remove the easily fortified high ground from above red keep in EBG.

    For the geographically challenged, yes, Tarnished Coast is located IN the Maguuma Jungle.

  • One thing that crossed my mind last night, and I'm not sure if it's on here would be that can we please make it so the siege loot boxes have a different skin like the superior siege ones because I'm tired of going through my inventory and accidentally opening a siege box and having a bunch of siege in my inventory. I like to sort that stack out at the end of the night, not when I'm running from point A to point B and just opening my loot boxes to salvage it all.

    +infinity likes and cookies for life for this one QoL - accessible in all game modes. Everyone would love this. I'm not sure why this wasn't brought over from gw1, it's one of the most loved features of the game.

    Reward tracks box micro management is terrible.

    I would like to be able to rotate siege faster. Right now the enemy is long gone or in the tower before you can rotate a mortar from left to right. Maybe tie it into the abilities - the higher ability you have the faster you can rotate mortars, trebs, catas etc. Also tie into the abilities that you can do more damage with higher ability or at least be able to fire it faster. Ballistas are basically useless when you have to target someone who is moving so fast they are out of range before you can do anything - get rid of the targeting. Placing them is also nearly impossible as anything and everything seems to block them. Siege definitely needs a rework.

    The tag for the squad you are in should be bigger and the commander should be highlighted so he stands out more. Right now tags tend to get lost in the crowd and certain colors just do not stand out. A small pillar of light over the commander's head with the tag just above that would help immensely.

    Line of sight really needs work. When I am on a bridge or near a low bush and shooting at someone that I am pretty sure I have line of sight on as I am taller and I get obstructed it is frustrating. Walls especially are horrible when you cannot target anyone below unless you are on the very outer edge yet you can be pulled from the very back of the wall or even far enough back that they no longer have line of sight on you.

    Build templates would be fabulous. I wish they could be paired with a wardrobe tab where you could drop in appropriate armor and trinkets for that build and be able to click on it to immediately wear and be ready to go. I would have no problem restricting that to being able to change templates only at spawn or in an owned keep.

    Just the one which may or may not have been mentioned because I am to lazy to read it all , drop the kitten AOE range please you die on walls trying to defend what is the purpose of siege if your murdered because of the absolutely ridiculous AOE . Ahh also drop the stupid contesting if some one runs past an objective , siege should have to be placed before contesting , I know you did this to sort of make the dumb thief class have some purpose in wvw but let it go. Thank You

Maybe start a new thread about it? Also, any idea when we might see some of these implemented?

    The original thread, I suppose if you wanted you could talk about stuff in this thread since it's still active.
    Stuff will get implemented whenever they have time off the current main project, the alliance system, doubt they have a "timeline", just stuff to do whenever they're waiting on other departments to get stuff done.

    the changes in OS are nice, but it seems like an OS megaserver lobby is off the table which is a lil sad.

    and as blackarps said, is there some sort of summary of what and when we can expect some stuff to happen?

    Hurray for the reward box free inventories! Well, baby steps but at least the direction is right.

    Be sure to add a +150 Agony Resistance enrichment and make it available at WvW rank 5000. Little something to show our appreciation of the infusions revamp that got us the empty enrichment slot in the first place.

    How about losing the capture points for bloodlust in WvW and instead link the outcomes to what happens in PvP arenas? It would add a dueling aspect for players in WvW that couldn't be interfered with.

    Will those be combined or separate enrichments?
    BTW: Can we please merge the guild enhancements for the WxP gain and the reward track or at least get an NPC to switch between them inside a WvW staging area?

  • They are separate enrichments.

    I looked into the guild buff stuff, as it was a common request. The way systems work now seem to require you to be actually in a guildhall for the npc to know what's available to you. Reworking that is probably we don't have bandwidth for at the moment, with all the other competitive related tasks we have.

    Hey Ben, thanks for your information. Can you tell us more about those enrichment? They come as buffs or infusions? (like karma, XP and other you can buy with laurels). Also, they stack with the guild buff?

    While you're looking at the small qol to make, could you take a look at the queues code? I made this thread some days ago but nobody really replied other than adding a like: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/33191/5-years-and-the-queue-still-bugs-out#latest (i apologise for the rant in the thread, but had to queue for 1h30 because of that)

    I tried myself the other day once again and it's not even bandwith problem or anything like that, whenever you port all the menu you have open get automatically closed, same for the queue pop up, expecially if the queue is ready while you're loading (which appens often in wvw due to high population, caused often from the loading bug in which you can't see your own weapons, skills and npcs, and makes you load for 3-4 minutes).

    Can't the queue pop up get removed, and be inserted in the wvw panel? This way you can open close the panel and still have time to press travel.
    Even though often after clicking travel it says "world full, would you like to queue?" but that is a different bug.

    To me fixing the queues is a bigger qol update than 90% of what was proposed in the threads

    The Portable Provisioner window will scroll when you purchase something when there's a WvW big spender daily (until you complete the daily).

    I just noticed that the Mursaat Brogans were made account bound like the other LS pieces, that's a nice little fix.

    Is it possible to add a few tweaks for the endless tonics that allow us to fight while transformed like the endless kodan/awakened/olhmakan. Currently we cannot stow the weapons, they always remain out and we cannot interact with siege. Any chance these issues can be fixed?

    Please increase the queue size on the processor that makes guild siege in the guildhall.
