I like the cloth rag. Of course we could do without but they made the right decision hanging it on the side instead of on the rear. They hung it on the rear of every other armor and everyone calls those bum capes. Hiding the Tushy. This was the right call.

I took the hellfire gloves by mistake in the beginning. Now my only option is to use chaos gloves. I can't exchange/change them for radiant, right?

Here's my asura in the heavy armour. (If anyone's wondering both asura and charr females get the male version.)

I like all 3 sets and was debating between all of them, but decided on heavy because it suits all 3 characters who can use it, whereas I'd probably only use prices of the others occasionally.

Not that I've noticed.

But all 3 have metallic parts which can be dyed to look quite shiny. They don't actually glow but they can be bright.

I picked the light armor right away. The chest piece and its accompanying choker look lovely. I really like the skin in my main ele's mix and match set. Title is the Zodiac.

Oh wow, the heavy one looks good! I'm mostly a light armor main, but kind of disappointed with the light set. I need to see it in more dyes before making any decisions though, but I might just go with the heavy set and hope we'll get another pick next year.

Looks great! What dyes are you using? I love playing with dyes but often end up with a muddy-looking mess.Oh, and by the way, the side rag is perfect for wiping the blood of my enemies off my sword.

Not this year. You only get 1 set this year, but based on previous gifts we'll get to pick another one next year and the 3rd one the year after that.

Birthday gifts are split into two parts - one every character gets and the other comes from an achievement for reaching that birthday, which can only be done once: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Birthday_Gift

It's one of the rare good heavy armor helmet.There's a Parade version too unlocked in the wardrobe. It has the visor raised.

I picked the light armor and loved everything except for the boots. The incarnate boots looked way better with the armor. This is how it looks on my main.

One of the complaints I heard was that the Luminous Armor doesn't go with the weapon set. So I challenge that.
