Late Changes*Facet of Chaos- Chaotic Release: Reduced recharge has been rescinded in WvW and so is now 20 seconds in pve and 45 seconds in spvp & wvw.

Undocumented Changes

  • Facet of Nature: Upkeep increased to 3 pips all modes.
  • Burst of Strength had its vulnerability on strike removed and replaced with its new 15% damage buff for the herald.*Gaze of Darkness has had 10 vulnerability for 6 seconds added to it.

Further NotesFacet of Nature- Assassin: ~ 130-140 damage on power herald, 87 healing (50 healing power), seems to have icd presumably 1sec.Facet of Nature- Dwarf: Apparently 10% damage reduction. Does not affect condition damage.Facet of Nature- Glint: Apparently 10% boon duration. Does not show up in boon duration counter in hero panel nor does it directly add to concentraition.Facet of Nature- Centaur: 275 heal every 3 seconds with 30 healing power.Facet of Nature- Demon: Apparently transfers 1 condition from allies once every 3 seconds.Rising Momentum: Respects movement speed caps granting little increase outside of combat when already under swiftness (7-8 pips to cap movement speed ooc w/o swiftness) and nearly matching movement speed of superspeed in combat when all 10 pips are used in conjunction with swiftness.Elevated Compasion: Does not grant healing to the herald. Apparently on occasion it skips a healing tic on allies triggering on 6 second intervals instead of 3.

Bugs

  • Phase Traversal: In spvp has the new 30e cost but now has a cooldown of 35sec.
  • Draconic Echo keeps the passive effect of facets active in the effects monitor but does not actually continue to grant boons. It does seem to work correctly with Facet of Nature.* Facet of Nature- Demon: Transfers non-damaging conditions.
  • Transitioning from land to water, with glint legend equipped in both, will frequently bug out active facets so they no longer grant boons. Activating another facet will reset the bugged ones otherwise consuming the bugged facets or swapping legends is the only way to clear it. Simply transitioning back into land or water will not reset them.

Undocument changes in Facet of Natures, in PVE energy is more expensive 2-3. Seem a little change but mess a lot a possible rotation with F2+Impossible Ods or vengaful hammers.

Still checking the traits to PVE but the master tries seem a little lackluster, not sure if i like the trait changes.

Glint is way way way too strong now. She was already, at the most conservative, our second best legend.

The new trait line looks interesting. I'm disappointed that our concentration is lowered even more, but so be it.

In addition let me get a big F for:

Swift Gale

Elder's Force

One with Nature

You served us well. You will be missed dearly.

Inspiring reinforcement/seven shot ui bugs were fixed which from my initial testing has knocked off about 2k from our sustained dps and completely killed the power pve burst. I'll try some glint rotations to see if it is still usable.

Edit glint dps still sucks, dwarf/shiro still the way to go for power dps just ~10% weaker.

Elders force seems to have been turned into a minor trait with +1% damage per boon. And we still have forceful persistence, its a GM trait in glint now.13% on non herald legend upkeep and 4% per boon in herald.

Regeneration seems to be choice in the first tier for glint as its another boon to stack.

Rising Momentum: This trait has replaced Hardening Persistence as an adept tier trait and grants the revenant a 5% increased movement speed for each point of upkeep they are using. The movement speed granted by this trait stacks with all other movement speed increases.

Does this mean we can attain 'super speed' status, as in above 33%? I don't understand the purpose of this given we have Facet of Elements.

The new F2 is a flat nerf for glint and the way herald was usually played. Boon access is much more difficult now as our concentration has also been decreased. Elder's Force being gone as well as having to sacrifice might generation for a bit of additional tankiness is going to hurt this class in the long run.

So they respond by making Glint even more OP and necessary. I can see the vision behind the changes, but in my mind, they just don't stack up as making much sense.

Also important to note that the new Hardening Persistence is flat out worse than the old one in terms of damage reduction.

Let's assume you have 2600 armor. For each point of upkeep, you get either 40 toughness or 1% damage reduction.

Calculating based on the normal toughness/damage dealt formulas, with the OLD HP an attack would deal 98.5% of its initial damage. Obviously with the new HP, an attack would deal 99% of its initial damage.

Since armor acts as a direct divider to incoming damage, reducing damage received by 1% at 2600 armor is equivalent to 26 additional toughness/armor gained. You thus need to have 4000 armor (LUL) to BREAK EVEN with new HP compared to old HP.

This, plus a single condi cleanse on each shield skill absolutely does not warrant this trait moving from Adept to Master tier to compete with our might generation trait.
