In order to show courtesy to our fellow players, please be sure to mark any spoiler-ish content with spoiler tags.
To do that:
- Start the spoiler with [ spoiler ] (without the spaces)
- End the spoiler section with [/ spoiler ] (also without the spaces)
- Alternately, highlight spoiler text and click the 'Format' button above the comment box and click "Spoiler" to automatically apply the spoiler tag code to the selected text.
Remember:
- Do not use a spoiler in the title.
- Feel free to say "Spoiler" or "Possible Spoiler" in the title if you wish to do so.
- If you're linking to potentially spoiler content off the official forums, please be sure you note that there is a spoiler in that content, or put the link behind a spoiler tag.
Thanks!

And, of course, don't make the 'subject' the spoiler.
In the event I don't get a chance, thank you all for the company and help when I needed it from time to time.
Excellent point, thank you!

And if you are going to link to outside sources, put that link in the spoiler tag too

Yes, agreed!
I edited my post to include both of your good suggestions. Thanks a bunch.

Or the quicker alternative of highlighting spoiler text and clicking the 'Format' button above the comment box and clicking "Spoiler" to automatically apply the spoiler tag code to the selected text.
Thank you, added!

Code for spoiler tags seems to have been changed to use > with a exclamation point
Testing this. (Quote the post to see what I wrote for each one.)
Old format in line spoiler tags
of a sentance
Automated spoiler tag (from the formatting menu)
Typing out the new tag
New tag >!inside a sentance
So the old tags do still work, as do the new ones. But you have to tag an entire block of text, you can't hide just part of a sentance/line
