Can someone explain how the cooling off is supposed to work? I followed the map and went to where there was a circle and I just died anyways. Am I supposed to press a button or something?
In the event I don't get a chance, thank you all for the company and help when I needed it from time to time.

Have to go through the orb in the energy column. Sometimes they’re at ground level and other times you have to you the springer to reach them.
Thanks. I'm giving up on this. I can't get past blowing up the first time. Too many monsters, too much time being in combat.
I swear, there is one team (and this is 'that' team), that is all about not separating the meta achievement from the kek pew achievements. I guess I'm going to have to find someone to help me with some story achievements.
Appreciate the help though.

You should just be able to blow past most monsters on a mount. I mostly used raptor at first, except where I needed springer to reach the cooling cloud thingies, with some griffon where it was useful.
Doing it on guardian might help -- the passive Aegis can sometimes make the difference between being stuck in combat and not when changing mounts.
I did it with beetle without too much effort
The only time I had trouble with the mobs was at the second cooling point I had to take.
The way I did it in the end was taking an entirely different path and jus tusing the Griffon, finished in 2 min flat.
Logging out forever.
Here’s a video with beetle.
You are not supposed to walk. You need to use mounts. Also you do not have to pass through all the cooling points. Your goal is to get to the keep. The way you choose is your decision. Just go through as many points as you think are needed to keep cool.
whenever the bar goes into yellow, start looking for yellow circle (cooling points) along the way to yellow star (end point) to reset the bar to green
beetle definitely extremely handy to get gold
I mostly used Springer. Had to swap to griffon to get the cooling next to one of the bridges.
