Aquatic stance?

I've tried this skill once or twice and it seemed underwhelming. Is there even a build or situation where it's worth using in WvW or PvP?

It needs to have aoe clear for each trigger or maybe barrier.

There's no point of using it outside of pve boss fights where you're likely to get all procs of it (preferably on 5 players). Heal triggers around your target making it quite useless skill for pvp or wvw.

They made Griever Stats for weaver, with no defensive/healing stats whatsoever, and made a support skill requiring to be at melee range, to hit your target, and with an icd on top of it. It's even more useless than unravel which says a lot.

They've done many mistakes with elementalist and they don't seem to be slowing down. They seem to be completely incapable of even steering the class to towards the direction that they envision it at. As you said, grieving was definitely made for weaver and that did not turn out as they wanted it to.

But did you know that they intend elementalist to be a versatile caster that favors range instead of melee? That is the description that the devs put on the class with the recent addition of class descriptions in the character creation. And yet they gave it two elite specs that focus on melee, while reducing the versatility of the class. Since overloading makes you swap attunements slower and weaver delays access to your #4 and #5 skills. I could understand if one elite spec was designed that way, but both of them contradict their stated design goals for elementalist. How is this possible?

    Here is the description

    Elementalist
Favors Ranged • Elemental Magic • Versatile Caster
Elementalists harness the power of the four elements—water, earth, fire, and air—to cast powerful spells. Their ability to change their elemental attunement midcombat is versatile but difficult to master.
