When buying one of the monocles skins and unlocking the skin, all weights should be unlocked at once, and not requiring you to buy the other ones. It's literally the SAME skin, so please make it so. Pretty plz, when unlocking one permit the 3, unlock them all.

In WvW, we're told we're being kicked for inactivity when we've been moving things in our inventory, bank or using the trading post or mail, and to stop ourselves being kicked, we have to move or use a skill

The inactivity timer should only kick us if we're really afk and not just standing still

I did not read all 21 pages, so plz ignore me if already been added1) can escape key close the Fractal dialog box? like when stepping up to the portal in LA and the dialog box that pops up about fractals, can that be closed by hitting escape key? I am so used to closing things by hitting escape, that i always end up hitting it multiple times in that window like 'why dont you close' then remember i have to mouse click the close button...2) when a new mail message is displayed (by hitting compose button in mailbox, or by using the 'mail item to...' option when right clicking a item in inventory) can the TO: box get the focus so we can immediately type a recipient?

thanks!

When switching attunements as Weaver, you must be able to access pure (non-combined) attunement without any additional hindrance. Currently if, for example, you want to go to Air and use skill 4, you need to tap Air attunement button once, only to find out that Air-4 is unavailable due to another element being in offhand, wait for a few seconds until cooldown will end, tap the Air attun button one more time - and only now you can use skill 4.

This delay is absolute disaster for at least certain play-stiles, dagger/dagger to name one. As d/d Ele, you need quick access to your mobility attacks (Air-4 and Earth-3), waiting a few seconds to disengage from combat you are losing as a low-hp, low-armor close-range fighter is totally unacceptable and easily become death penalty. With no cooldown when switching to your main-hand element you would become able to double-tap attunement button to get immediate access to "pure" (non-combined) attunement, what would resolve this issue, mostly.

Moreover, both of d/d crowd control abilities (Earth-4 and Air-5) mandatory for survival are in off-hand, so you can't quickly select them quickly as Weaver. That even will be an issue for sword Weaver, as dagger is popular option for off-hand even in this case.

Additionally, it would probably be more useful if double-attack skills would flip over to normal skills of current main-hand attunement right after they are used. Will provide more options how to get to the needed skill to player.

@Jura.2170 said:In the Equipment Preview window, we can look at an item in a skin collection, but there's no left and right arrows to scroll through previews of other skins in the same collection. Can you please add these in?

This would be really great. It would also be helpful to have checks for displaying equipment so you can see how a couple of items look together without other armor blocking/covering.

The alternative right now is to take off and put on alternating pieces of armor.

I am assuming you are referring to black lion skins and not regular armor.

I have a few of those monacle/eye patch skins that cross armor weights. I have not had to purchase multiple skins though. I would suggest putting in a support ticket about the skin not unlocking all three classes.

Add a portable Guild Buff Provisioner, gizmo that will allow you to buy and renew currently available Guild Buff Potions ( Guild Item Research, etc. ).Gizmo can cost like 50 guild tokens, and be placed in shared bag slot.

This will remove the need for Guild member to visit Guild Hall for buff renewal. But also to spend tokens on something usefull.

Yeah I'm referring to the three weight skins available on the gemstore, not the consummable called "Monocle".So for me buying let's say heavy weight monocle for 69g should unlock the two other weights since it's the same skin. I can try support..... but I don't think they would do something. Thx

@"Swagger.1459" said:It is important in pvp type modes to have clear visual tells, skill effects and such... There is no arguing that point. It was really cool of the dev team to offer the option of simplified nameplates to reduce the mass red name plates from view, but I feel we need to take other areas into consideration as well...

  1. The team changed Necro Shades to have improved visual tells, and I don’t disagree, but we need to look at another profession as well... https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/65877/absolute-best-way-to-balance-mesmer

  2. In addition to the above, what I’d like the team to consider for WvW and Spvp are the following changes to nameplate colors that create clear visual differences between players, pets, clones and NPCs...

  • Red Nameplate = Player

  • Orange Nameplate = Pets, Minions, Clones, Illusions, Summoned Entities...

  • Yellow Nameplate = NPC Enemies.

*When choosing colors it’s also important to be mindful of those who are colorblind. Perhaps a colorblind color palette could be offered as well.

  1. The red line on the skill bar to indicate if a target is in or out of range is not enough. We need an option to display target range, in numbers, above the targets head. The game already calculates distance and there is a point where targeting already breaks when the target is out of targeting distance, so have this target number break along with it. Edit- And obviously this range indicator is stopped when an opponent uses skills that remove targeting such as stealth, pet taunts and such...

  2. We also need better targeting indicators... There have been a number of games that use big icons or outlines or boxes... to clearly hilight a target, and it would be beneficial to have some options that offer those types of visual targeting markers here too.

@"Swagger.1459" said:Can we have a standard +25% movement speed at lvl 80? Or just make +25% movement as the normal character speed?

It's just an unnecessary annoyance, and a pointless and outdated design too, especially when in-combat speeds reduce movement anyway. I'm sure it would be pretty painless to then just modify sources of +25% movement speed to other things more useful if it became standard for all characters...

@"Swagger.1459" said:Between the mount camera, flash effects, distortion graphics, close camera zoom... it is giving some of us players negative symptoms. I have NEVER been bothered by these areas before playing GW2, and I have been trying to bring these issues up in a positive way in hopes that there could be some communication and improvements. Love GW2, but it's hard sometimes when you feel sick while playing and after logging out...

Mounts I've tried to deal with by sitting far away from the screen and not looking directly at the screen sometimes. Have to look away to avoid some of the flashy effect bursts, massive effects bombardment during some meta events and screen distortion areas... Mounts are not really an option after PoF and in the newer zones coming out. Meta events can be fun, and some of the newer events are cool, but the team is really throwing a lot of tough visuals for us to deal with at times. It's not fun, and it's not healthy.

PLEASE do something with the mount camera?

PLEASE increase the camera zoom out far so we can shrink the visual chaos?

PLEASE help the players who are being negatively impacted while playing?

PLEASE do something?

PLEASE?

@"Swagger.1459" said:I LOVE the gearing process, crafting and gear stat swap options in this game. The absolute BEST of any MMO I ever played, but I’d like to recommend improvements in some areas that make sense… “Sense” as in… Being able to stat swap all back pieces, trinkets and wvw infusions. I believe this is important from a QoL perspective, but also because balance changes like https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/63014/a-note-on-future-boon-direction can diminish the desired effect of gear on builds.

Was really cool to have added Bloodstone Fen Ascended trinkets, and the more recent Ascended Mist trinkets, that can have their stats changed. Every other Ascended Back piece and trinket in the game can’t, and there are times where the stats on those gears can become suboptimal. This can also affect the WvW infusions as well… Thus wasting player currencies such as Gold, Laurels, Badges of Honor, Zone Currencies... and to a lesser degree Spirit Shards for crafted back pieces. Edit- Forgot to mention other crafting materials and most importantly... player game TIME.

The suggestions…

My IDEAL changes first…

NOTE- There could be some milestones a player has to reach before being able to directly purchase Spirit Shards and Laurels.. Like having ALL crafting professions maxed + core Tyria map completion + 5k AP…

OR

I prefer the top changes because it smoothens out the gearing up and stat changing process, while also serving as a MUCH NEEDED gold sink. This also makes gear related changes and experimentation way way way more tolerable and positive for the players.

@"Swagger.1459" said:I would like to propose a new reward system for veteran players of the game, and there are 2 main reasons for this suggestion... First, I think it would be pretty cool to give some extra incentives to log in the game and participate. Second, currency grind fatigue can be real, and this would help veterans players by allowing them to participate in content they enjoy while still chasing after certain rewards...

Edit to add a couple of interesting reads...

https://medium.com/monetizr/four-ways-game-reward-systems-boost-loyalty-and-sales-ec0362c986c7

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/268351726_Game_Reward_Systems_Gaming_Experiences_and_Social_Meanings

The suggestion...

Milestones to start earning veteran rewards...

  • 10k AP
  • Core Map Completion
  • Core Personal Story Completion
  • Participated in all Core Map Meta Events
  • Crafted 1 legendary
  • Dungeon Master Achievement (Complete 8 explorable dungeons.)
  • Fractal Initiate (Complete each fractal scale from 1 to 25.) PLUS Fractal Adept (Complete each fractal scale from 26 to 50.)
  • Complete 1 Raid Wing
  • Rank 100 in WvW OR SPvP
  • https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Griffon_(mount)

EDIT...…………………………………………………………………………..Alternative milestones based off of feedback...

Base requirements that need to be met to unlock the veteran reward system AND a core item vendor...

  • 15k AP
  • Core Map Completion
  • Core Personal Story Completion
  • Participated in all Core Map Meta Events

To unlock SPvP items from vendor

To unlock WvW Items from vendor

To unlock Dungeon items from vendor

  • Fractal Master (Complete each fractal scale from 76 to 100.)

To unlock HoT items from vendor

  • Full Map Completion
  • HoT personal story completion
  • Complete all Meta Events

To unlock PoF items from vendor

Players start earning a new currency once the BASE milestones are met... Let's call this currency... "Prestige Coin"... Any items purchased become account bound.

  • 1 Prestige Coin for completing any event
  • 1 Prestige Coin for completing a Heart Quest
  • 1 Prestige Coin for defeating any Champion https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/List_of_champions
  • 1 Prestige Coin for capturing a camp in WvW

  • 3 Prestige Coins for completing a dungeon path
  • 3 Prestige Coins for completing each T3 or T4 fractal
  • 3 Prestige Coins for completing a Raid
  • 5 Prestige Coins for completing a Meta Event

"Prestige Coin" Vendor Items (Example)

1 Prestige Coin for 1 item…

5 Prestige Coins for 1 item…

10 Prestige Coins for 1 item...

250 Prestige Coins for 1 item…

500 Prestige Coins for 1 item…

1,000 Prestige Coins for 1 item…

@"Swagger.1459" said:I would like to propose an alt account friendly feature for the community to think about and discuss... Here it goes...

Essentially I would LOVE it if we were able to link a main account and ONE, ONLY ONE, alt account for gearing up purposes only... The exact idea would be that a main/veteran account can craft Ascended weapons, armor and back pieces... and send it to an alt account to have and use.

The restriction of this would be...-The alt account MUST have a common "financial services" connection through CC, Debit Card, Pay Pal...-Once the Ascended gear is mailed to the alt, not just used, it becomes account bound to the alt account.-This is limited to CRAFTED ASCENDED GEAR, not crafted exotic or below.

The benefits of such a change...-It makes ALTing much more enjoyable... We can focus on playing the game as opposed to doing all the same gear chasing and crafting again and again on an alt account.-Players still have to craft the gear for their alts so it's economy friendly.-Would likely encourage more players to have an additional account, and actually play them while not feeling completely back at 0.

….Let me know what you peeps think, and if you have any ideas to share then please do so!

Please introduce the ability to, when we have the guild bank open, double click on an item in our inventory and have it stack onto the item that is already in the guild bank. Currently we have to take the item out of the guild bank, combine those with the items in our inventory, and then put the combination in the guild bank. This is different to how our personal bank slots work. Examples of items that could work this way:

  • siege
  • materials that normally go into materials storage (and so stack automatically in our mats storage tab), for example pigments.

Another, completely different request:On the TP, can you do something to the numbers so that they contrast better with the items. Light coloured font on light coloured items (e.g. +10 agony infusions, 10 slot equipment boxes, glittering dust, glittering staff skin) do not contrast well with the item icons. Maybe something like a darker outline, or shadowing to the font?

A rework on the mailing system would be great, e.g. viewing your sent mail and mailing verification (retype: recipients name) when you send items and gold in your letter.

and an option to travel as whole squad with the opportunity to create a new instance of the map if need. So, if you do a meta train or world boss train with a squad the whole squad could get on the map without any problems. Maybe only available for 20+ squads. The system could be tied with a ready check mechanic, so if everyone pressed yes, the whole squad will move

When we want to look for an item in a toon's inventory, we have to load the map that toon is on

Some people have really slow computers that take more than 2 minutes to load a map

We should be able to instead in the Character Select screen, make a toon's inventory appear without having to load anything else

I haven't read through the thread and I'm not sure how something like this could be implemented with a simple enough UI.

With now three (infinite) salvage kits I regularly use for different purposes / items I need a lot of clicking and micro management. "Salvage all" helps a lot, but still requires too many clicks.

I'd like to suggest the ability to "macro" salvaging and salvage with a single click or button press.

My personal scheme would be like: blue and white items and all trinkets up to yellow with copper fed; green armor and weapons with rune crafter's; yellow armor with silver fed. (Yes, I know reddit disagrees and suggests a different scheme.) I throw yellow weapons into the forge, so those shouldn't be automatically salvaged. Exotics with black lion, but they are rare enough to keep salvaging them manually.

Personally I wouldn't mind writing the configuration in a script language. But I know most people couldn't. So I'm imagining the UI as maybe a matrix: Rarity / item type and salvage kit as value. With the possibility, actually default, to select "none", of course. On the other hand it should also be able to handle non-equipment items, such as salvageable hides.

Remove BLC key farming from level 10 personal story and add a BLC key to the first daily completion of the week. Doing the same low level personal story every week on a character I’m not even going to keep is boring, but there are no other reliable sources of getting keys that doesn’t involve buying them.
