I'm getting a lot of crashes now too, sent my error log in just now. I can't play more than 30 minutes without it crashing on me and Gw2 is the only game that does it. It's not a memory leak, it was only at 3 gigs of ram when it crashed (I have 16). Overclocked i5-3570k and a 980ti.

LavaSoft programs can hide. You have to do a deep search to find them, sometimes. (They are often piggy-backed on with Bing.)The Repair utility will stop for periods of time, and look like it's not responding. Just leave it, and it will 'do its thing'.You don't need to post anything other than the first part of the Crash Report.

You can send the entire thing to the Tech CS when/if you contact them through the 'Support' link above/below.

Good luck.

Have similar issues - my crash report looks like the one posted by UnderWater.

Its just.. sometimes i get the message "gw2.exe failure" sometimes not even that - the game just closes itself. Sometimes a few times in a row. Last crash happened during updating - so i wasn't even in game, it came right after i started GW2. The game archive repair is running right now.

As about when is it happening - sometimes i can run with a full zerg in wvw or play Dragonstand for like 2 hours (at full details) and have no issues and right after my game crashes while i go to my home instance - alone - to gather. So.. yeah, its sort of random.

I checked my hardware as far as i could (software tests like fur benchmark for my graphic card, dxdiag, memory check etc) and everything seems to be OK.As for LavaSoft - i searched and didn't find anything, at least nothing with LavaSoft in its name.

It's just soooo annoying :anguished:

Got the same issue, sometimes i can play for horus without problems, other times the client crashes 4 times in 2hours ... i tried windowed and fullscreen, without antivirus, without arcdps, without anything else running, tried the repair (successfull), and it can occurs in pve, wvwn even in idle. I don't manage to find a speck of hint on what causes this -_-

I know.. same for me, reinstalled the game (as last thing i imagined it could help - a fresh installation) then i had my peace for like 3 days and now the crashes are back (at this moment i'm running the game archive repair). My graphic card driver is maybe one week old ( the last which NVIDIA has released) - nothing seem to help.

As for the time ingame, its a bit different for me, sometimes 2 hours, sometimes 3 min.

The current Nvidia driver is causing higher CPU usage in a lot of systems. So I thought that might be the problem. I rolled back to the last version, but nope, my game keeps crashing.

I would honestly prefer that my first post in this forum after my first 2 months playing would be something positive but this is getting annoying already.

Today morning I was using the "trick" of travelling to Lion's Arch through PvP Lobby when I crashed. I logged back and crashed again. Once more and I finally managed to reach the Asura Gate but a few minutes at my destination I crashed once more and when logging back my character became all disfigured, like one of these things people consider as "art" — gw017.jpg

Since repairing the game accordingly to the instructions did nothing (at least there was no progress bar like when, for example, a power surge shuts down your PC) I had to reinstall everything. Character's models recovered but the crashing continues. Opening inventory, Trading Post, Bank or simply walking around and I crash inexplicably.

It's already extremely hard to find other players to help me with simple achievements gated behind extremely overpowered bosses or mechanics not present in the base game and the little time I manage to stay connected, I crash, crash and crash all the time.

I really hope I didn't spend 200 bucks buying the game for nothing.

This thing is something especially "funny" when you just finished a pre event for for example Shatterer and crash.. and on relog you land on an empty map xD - happened to me yesterday. Cause yeah.. my game still crashes from time to time as well..Edit:// since i had the same issue on my brother's laptop, i must admit that i did't reinstall my OS. Did the rest just as UnderWater posted above though.
