There EU is not excluded, now snap to it.

How will that work for the ingame rewards? Your ArenaNet account definitely knows where you are, doesn't it?

the code works everywhere, you redeem the code in the black lion store. redeem code > redeem item code

Well, isn't this discrimination?

They do stuff for charities - but only NA charities. Where is the support for charities in the rest of the world? They do stuff for players, but only NA players. Where is the free stuff and goodies for the rest of the world? They do stuff with players, but only NA players. Why do you ignore the players in the rest of the world?Seems like a simple conclusion.

That isn't what discrimination is, and it would make no sense anyways as the US is very diverse compared to other parts of the world. Restrictions generally come down to conditions set by the partner, or due to legal reasons. This is why if you pay attention to enough promotions within the US you'll see some states are excluded from them due to legal reasons.

In this case, the issue comes down to Dell not providing something outside of the US.

A simple conclusion, sure, but a wrong conclusion. I saw some of their people at Paris Games Week last September (Er, the Paris, the one in France), and they were giving away Dragon Emblem Outfit codes (and photo-ops on the Jackal) there. They do do stuff outside the US.

then don't do something like this in the first place. The world is much, much bigger than the US. Kicking most of your playerbase in the face just that some very few US players can get some free stuff, is not really a wise economical decision.

Had lots of issues getting the code with for the outfit. Kept having to refresh pages ect. due to errors on server end. Then I tried to redeem the Mini Eggs. It just said I wasn't permitted. Refreshed the page thinking it was another error. Now the page with the Mini Egg link will no longer popup. I'm in the US.

You have a strange definition of kicking someone in the face.

ANet is not excluding anyone, but countries do exclude themselves.

You have access to the player population numbers? Otherwise you’re making hyperbolic statements.

it is just the matter of fact that the USA population is tiny compared to EU, RU, SA, Africa, Near East.

well, ANET has in the past given the outfit to NA only. Didn't they give some hat to NA only too? Now this.

It is basically saying 'we don't care about you. We only care about US players'.

They could solve the issue quite easily btw. All the things they gifted US players with: automatically unlock them for everybody else. It is just skins, doesn't cost them anything.
