I think you are too pesimistic. Even left unattended as it is now, the WvW will still have at least 6 months of life, if not even one year. So, don't be in a hurry to do .... whatever you want to do. Be patient, no panic, plan the activities over the next months. (/s)

(/s)Thats what people said 2013 too, when Camelot Unchained was about to be released and kill WvW. And 2014. And 2015. Also 2016. And of course 2017. Then the same in 2018. 2019, thats the year WvW will die for sure!

So planning for it is only logical.

Real Life is more important, I would spend my week-ends surfing more, watching more movies, more barbecues and socialising more, wouldn't be a bad thing seeing as the linking has cost us 1 very good guild leaving for another server, as well as quite a few players have quit gw2 in the last few weeks due to bad MU, bad links with maybe 10-15 people maximum representing our linked server, game is broken, the mounts have brought new players to WvW, which has caused huge imbalances in MU, more lag, more frustration. Today we faced a zone blob of 40 players, and could only muster 15 players to defend, no point really, take it away and do us all a favour

Going hopping through the borderlands and searching for the few Aurora Glade veterans, who still remember Henry's gate, Mollori's tower and the old days of sever identity mixed with a bit of drama you always get, when you are passionate about something. Saying goodbye to those people would be my priority.

I'd pick a tower and tell old war stories, and wait for the enemy to come knocking on my gates. Ever tell you the time I destroyed four zergs full of players who came to my tower to ktrain in edge of the mist...and I poured the oil over their head 4x's over. You figured they would have learned their lesson after the second try...but four times? You know what they called me? A troll. For defending a tower. I got called a Troll. For pouring oil, over a group.....that didn't know the first thing about WvW combat. I thought it was a very good lesson. They just didn't learn it until four tries later.
