Until I was able to get my cloth legendary armor set for my ele, which took a ton of WvW gameplay and real money, I carried around 2 sets of ascended armor and weapons to change between a full minstrel build and a cleric/magi hybrid build. Mostly to switch up between Wvw/Pve. Took up a lot of inventory space, and was tedious to switch between. Now that I have legendary I don't really need to do this other than a few trinkets and rings. Would have been nice to have a set system to switch between, but I'm sure as you mentioned in your comment below about the inventory viewing suggestion, it's a monetization issue with ANet. Meaning, they'd rather have us buy more inventory slots.....

Also, it would be really cool to be able to look at your main inventory, but not withdraw or deposit anything, as an option of your character inventory. Maybe put a little icon next to the wallet icon that allows you to click and view.

Not that this is a bad suggestion, at least for the ability to look, but I don't think it is likely this would be implemented given the permanent bank contract and the bank access express consumable.

True. We need something that allows for a preview of grabbing weapon, stowing weapon, in use, and screen effects. There should also be something for that with all of the auras now available.

The workaround I use for weapons is using the wardrobe view that just displays all of the skins both locked and unlocked. Then right-clicking the weapon icon and choosing preview. It is annoying to have to use two windows and you cannot on the fly match up armor and weapons. I have to pick either weapons or armor and then match everything else to the look I want from that.

A QoL solution would be if the game remembered the last-used mount if PvE and WvW independently.

I had that happen for a few days but it seemed to have stopped when I bound the mount action for warclaw like the other mounts. I really doubt that was what fixed it, but it might be worth a try.

It would be awesome if with the build templates we could have some kind of armor swap storage that allows for two or three sets that you can switch between with a command option. Kind of like the GW1 weapon storage bags.

Some people who have top stats on things like Achievements are trolled for it, have to run constant offline status... I know one of them..It would be nice to have an OFFLINE status to all but those on the friends list. There are so many gawd awful mean people who just troll people cause they have a sad, angry way of life and psycho sickness.. Lets make the offline status easier for those who are friends and want to avoid these trollers.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I think a good suggestion is to implement a way to change the color of the in game mouse cursor. It's easy to lose track of during big fights with lots of flash going on, but sometimes I do simply because it's a brown cursor against a brown/yellow background, like SW. I know there are mods to do this with, but an in game option would be preferable I think.Thanks!

When I get a new skin, let me add it to my inventory and then make it disappear. I have over 1000 transmutation charges. I can wait for using a skin for quite some time after I acquire it.

Elegy mosaics into material storage, along with sigils, runes, insignias etc.

Add an option that will allow us to overwrite Outfit's helm skin with one that Currently equipped in standart gear slot.And don't even dare to say that this is impossible, since uncheking helm skin removes all visibility of outfit's helm.4 out of 7 characters on my account have Outfits, but i rather prefer to choose helm skins myself, not the ugly ones that Outfits offer and enforce on you.

Or add it to the wardrobe and give a transmutation charge. That will work for those of us with a ton of skins and charges that don't want to waste bank space on a skin and those who don't have charges and would want to apply it immediately.

I was wondering if maybe we could have an option to choose what form we are in when creating a norn; For example you could choose to have the human like appearance we have now and simply go about your business. Or you could choose to be in your Werebeast form indefinitely and simply wear armor (They could use the charr rig, like they have with tengu for example.) And just give us two distinct models for our norn. I know it sounds like alot but when people ask why you choose norn and you give them the why, which is entirely based on guild wars 1 and their lore they kind of... just... yea.

Granted this means the elite skills might need to be changed to something else, maybe a blessing like a call back to the old ursan skill in guild wars 1? Where you embody the spirit of bear but don't take on the form? I don't know it just feels kinda crappy that everyone else has super cool stuff; Humans got a whole lot of customization this expansion, sylvari glow in the dark and have an expansion themed around them. Charr are cool because they just are; I mean they are basically orcs but with a unique spin on their culture and views along with their aptitude toward battle. And Asuran are definable and noticeable in a crowd; But norn kind of are stuck in this weird funky place between charr and humans and Id like to see it expanded upon as an option for more character customization.

I feel it's kinda lame that it's only tattoos and height (And a bitch'n voice actor for our male VA) that sets us apart; I don't want to have to change but sometimes I Get bored because its like "Oh boy everyone in my party is a human, and Im just slightly taller... whooohooo". Im probably gonna get shut down by people who think this is dumb; But let me explain that in guild wars 1 when I saw the norn and we learned that they are more beast than man? That they are vikings, native american and Lycanthropes wrapped up in one package I was so hyped and set I wanted to play as one. Now I can, and they feel like they got neutered compared to what they were and all Im asking is for the OPTION for those like me to be able to play the character we wanted to be; Id be full Werebear all the time ere'day all day. That and I honestly know im gonna get flamed~ So the amount of care I have about it is minimal, I just want constructive criticism and a healthy chat about it.Would sell you alot of character makeover kits; And might breathe fresh life into the norn. Please consider it? <3

Some things I'd love to see that I've seen requested in years past, but are long overdue:

  • Duel-Wield Previews.

  • Previews of Outfits that let you turn off the hat.

  • Legendary weapons should be able to provide aura/footsteps/effects based on the equipped weapon, not based on the skin.

  • Seriously, let us transmute the weapon but keep the effects if we choose to.

  • Please allow us to toggle off, or change functionality of the auto-send item-link ctrl-click feature.

  • Please allow us to toggle off the call-target ctrl-click feature.

  • Please rotate the Black Lion Statuette 'Special' tab more often. This should rotate every week in my opinion.

  • Seriously, there are so many items that could be rotated into the Gem Store, and having the statuette vendor rotate more often offset that pressure.

Yes, I've thought of more.I know it somewhat defeats the purpose of armor skins vs outfits, but:

  • I really wish we could mix and match certain elements of outfits.For instance, I love my Jungle Explorer outfit, but I really wish I could equip my new Glowing Purple Mask without losing the entire look.

  • Also, we need more reliable ways to get rid of ascended materials, like Ley Line Sparks and Auric Dust.This includes ones we already have converters for. Simply put, we need more ways to craft and effectively "sell off" our ascended stockpiles.

Reset every map per 3 hours (for meta maps or worlbosses - 30 min after finished meta or boss) - This is key to prevent and keep map with bugs.

Add reward from achievement -> General -> Bosses Rewards(0 achievement point, one reward) for boss kill. For example if Lyssa is killed 50 times (Malchor leap map) then player will get "All Seing". From 50x tequatl: chest with sunles skin, from 50x tri head wurm chest with armor skin. For every rare item, skin, tonics etc.

it's frustrating when every time u kill and there is no piece of final reward from the boss)

For not used mater points if there is no idea for new core tyria masteries or HoT materies then let use master point to boost account. For example: 1 MP per 1 Magic Find or Gold find , karma gain, XP gain etc.

In the fractals, raids and for Super adventure box is very good system for rewards ( we can drop skin, we can buy skin, we can exchange skin and other stuff too) It will be good this system in the dungeon and for future content.

Thief with daredevil elite specialization should have skill ( in the steal) to ignore every immortality ( endure pain, eliksir s and other stuff with immune to damage) and make damage for few second.

Add black lion key in PoF story reward somewhere ( HoT story is with one)

This is unfinished idea for Raid but i will share it. Well we have support, healer , damage and condi damage classes. My idea is about boost boon with two or more specific class composition based on diffrent classes with same stats(support - hight boon duration, for healer - healing power, for condi damage - expertise and for Damage - critical chance. If someone will get same numbers of stats then can choose bonus class composition.

For example:

Support:

bonus from Mesmer every gained boon is one sec longer in the group. (if someone use skill with boon, then every boon from this skill is one second longer.

bonus from Guadian boon protection protect 50% damage from enemy.

bonus from Revenant: Alacrity recharge skills faster by 50%.

bonus from Ranger: Aegis can now stack

bonus from Thief: Evade every attack for 1 second after "steal"

bonus from Warrior: Movement speed increased by 66%

bonus from Engineer: increases attack and action speeds by 75% (Quickness).

bonus from Necromancer: Regeneration can now stack.

bonus from Elementalist: Endurance regeneration increased by 75%

Healer:

bonus from Ranger: Regeneration gain health every 0,5 second

bonus from Revenant: barrier is 2x longer

bonus from Necromancer: after 5x healing pulse gain 2,5k barrier for everyone

bonus from Mesmer: reflect for 3s after using healing skill

bonus from Guardian: for 3s gain heal when enemy attack you after using healing skill

bonus from Warrior: for 3s gain heal when you attack enemy after using healing skill

bonus from Thief: steal 3% life from enemy after 5th attack.

bonus from Engineer: superspeed for 5s after using healing skill

bonus from Elementalist: 3x blast finisher after using healing skil

1)Problem: Maps are filled with commander tags but most people dont know what the purpose of that specific commander tag is.Sollution: Wouldn't it be nice that when a player hovers his/her cursor over the commander tag on the normal/mini map that they could read a custom written text explaining the goal of the player with the commander tag?examples:

  • Pug Commander
  • In need of a few players to escort dolyaks
  • Gathering Players to do ...
  • Scouting
  • Opening enemy wall at this location
  • Please Bring 20 supplies to this location
  • ....

2)problem: Often times People want to organize the players on a map but nobody want to tag up (be the commander) because they dont want to take the responsibility or just dont have enough time. So people create a squad after that the commander tags down and then the squad starts slowly dying because nobody else knows there is a squad on the map. (people assume the map is dead)Sollution: Add some sort of tab list near the minimap that shows all the existing squads on the map whereon people can click to join the squads.

3)problem: players can't tag down without leaving the squadSollution: you figure it out

It would be nice if other types of items in the world would remember what you set as 'auto attack' on them between uses. Doesn't even have to be character-by-character, account wide would be helpful.

An example is gliding in Bloodstone Fen, I set 1 to auto, but every time I glide, I have to reset it.AB - Armors, I set it to 2. Would be nice if it remembered I like to do that each time I jump in the armor.

I'm sure there are lots of other items and such we use in the world that could benefit from it. Those are two that jump out in my mind.

More control over the Heads Up Display and Action barsWhen not in combat, the placement and size of the action bars is fine and gives you a great view of the world.

But in combat, they are terrible. To see your cooldowns, boons and conditions you have to take your eyes off of combat. The indicators for them are tiny and difficult to see. Allow us to have our skill CDs, boons, conditions immediately below our character in combat or to the left or right of our character and control their size and opacity.

Also allow us to create action sets:~ create a set specific to a weapon main/off hand~ allow us to assign abilities, including utility, healing and elite, to any key just for that set

When having your Hero build window open, the traits should light up or somehow visually show you which trait becomes active when practicing your rotation. This way, it would be easier to get a better understanding of your build by seeing what works together with certain skills and how certain durations work out.

i was thinking about boss rush, specifically the rewards system, now what's in place is fine, but it doesn't give you any sense of excitement, and for veteran players like myself who have killed every boss countless times, it feels kind of the same, with 3 extra mats and a rare thrown in.

i think a good idea for this would be to treat the event rewards like you do for dungeons, with a token-based system, this could then give players the option to work towards items, as well as having the chance of getting the super rare drops, the rewards could be something that are built up over time, but lets work with the norm, a set of skins for weapons and armor would be a start, then you implement tonics or minis, maybe even a chair, possibly some cool items for your home instance, and if your feeling really generous, maybe even a boss rush infusion, as the whole point of this is another way to get infusions, but this could be the most prestigious item.

but this is were it can get fun, set these at a high bar, the token rates for dungeon items are a great example, and since its boss rush you only have a limited time to get as many tokens as you can, that way when boss rush randomly appears, people are working towards something, and because it requires dedication for something that will only appear every few months, it can feel more prestigious to have items from boss rush, and overall give the player a greater sense of accomplishment.

In the Hero Panel, under "Build" and "Weapon Skills," all available weapons to your class should show the full chain of attacks in the tool tip. For example: A Guardian's Greatsword skill 1 chain is: Strike --> Vengeful Strike --> Wrathful Strike. However, in the hero panel under the aforementioned windows, only the first attack is shown (Strike).

This would be useful when reviewing your build to see if a particular weapon type would work with it or not before you actually bought the weapon. I understand there is a wiki, etc. that can show this information, but having it in-game would be convenient - especially for those who may be using one monitor.
