Charms & Symbols more common?

Since War Eternal dropped, it feels as though in the normal course of salvaging my drops (copper-fed for greens and below) I've gotten far more Charms and Symbols from the gear with upgrades than I did previously... in fact I think I've gotten more of them in the past few days than I did in the moths previous.

Has anyone else noticed this? Did the drop rate of Charms and Symbols from salvaging gear-with-upgrades increase in the update? Haven't seen any other threads about this.

💣💣💣 Look buddy, I'm an Engineer. That means I cause problems. 💣💣💣

The droprate appear to be boosted somewhat, I think. Now it seems to be 1 every 5-10 rares or so, previously it was 1 every 500 year when all the planets align.

Dont look a gift Asura in the mouth.
    No seriously, dont. Shark teeth.

Actually I feel like the drop rate declined on them... I get less since War Eternal. Its probably just RNG being nice for you atm.

It might just be the nature of RNG, but I do happen to have noticed an increase in their drop rate for me personally recently. We can't really tell for sure though

maybe that's why the price dropped... but then again more people are playing since the world boss rush and war eternal... so not sure if this is accurate.

Anet: give us in-game customizable human NPC companion please
Please, no more balance changes, or at least reset our gears so we don't have to waste gold changing gears every time.
Please have option to not receive bloodstone dusts, empyreal fragments, dragonite etc

  • Without actual data, it's hard to compare before and after.

We really can tell, if someone (groups of someones) publishes their data.

The loot on Dragonfall maps in general is pretty generous and mirrors how loot was before the changes. I don't think the odds went up. I think it's because people are getting more junk to salvage; they have more chances of finding them.

This. And the price drops are a culmination of that in addition to people buying hundreds or thousands of them with undercut prices, then buying all of the ones being listed--then mass selling and spreading out the available listings to lower the price of those attempting to sell the very few they have.

More violence, less violets I say. I'm rich you know, because I watch the ledges.
