Imo Scrapper survivability is sorta overtuned, an excellent player will be able to handle 2v1's in a considerable amount of time, let alone a 1v1.

Their only visible weakness is CC pressure, but currently Spellbreaker is the only class with a well built kit for deliver said CC pressure alone.Any other class either lacks CC, can't afford to put CC over other essential skills, or it gets countered by the amount of projectile hate it delivers, and therefore it needs the help of another teammate in order to stand a chance.

I think it can be solved by simply increasing the bulwark and the invigorating speed trait cd respectively.

Anything else imo seems fine and they only need a slap in the wrist, nothing too radical or critical to nerf/change.

Atte. Engi main at plat 2, top 100 at current season rank.

I dont know which class can counter spellbreaker in a 1x1 anymore. For example a loooong time ago people made recaps about class representations in monthly AT's. Would show us again which classes/builds are dominant at the moment.

Plat3 here.

  • Strongest: Rev.

  • Strong: FB+Scourge combo, Warrior, Holosmith.

  • Composition dependant Fine or Strong: Soulbeasts.

  • Fine: Mesmer, Scrapper.

  • Buff needed: Ele, Thief.

Generalizing a little of course, compositions can change a lot and make classes more or less viable. Builds too, I just felt I should mention Scrapper next to Holosmith. They usually get outrotatet or killed by Revs or Warriors.

Adding some more condi builds could actually improve the Rev-situation. As everyone expected, mesmer nerfs have brought Rev out on top, but well...

By their placements :Scourge, Holo/scourge, Rev, War, Scourge/holo, FB, Holo, Rev, Rev, Druid. top10War, "incissor", Thief, coreguardlul, War, CertainSomeoneBelowLegend, idkwhosthat, Holo, Scourge?, Guardian/FB. top20.So lets balance based on top20 ?

Nothing is truly game breaking at the moment. Problems are more "Interactivity" than actual balance. For instance SBs stability uptime is ludicrously high, but SB itself isn't completely OP it's just annoying to deal with especially if they are using both Elite shout and dolyak they have near perma stab. Mirage is still a poster child for bad PvP game design, despite no longer being S tier. Holosmith is still too much of a do-everything class, but is honestly not broken either. Rev, again, people find it annoying to get bursted by a Rev, but burst is all meta-Herald can really do so calling it OP would also be wrong.

Closest thing to OP is scrapper in solo Q. If a scrapper dies 1v1 to anything it's a bad scrapper. If a scrapper doesn't also know how to deal just enough damage to have kill potential it's a bad scrapper. If a scrapper isn't near insta-ressing it's teammates by comboing with the gyro it's a bad scrapper.

Firebrand is broken in organized teams. Behold:

Scrapper, too much sustain-Bulwark should apply barrier in an area or increase in amount depending on # of friendly targets with watchful eye in 600 range.-5s icd on the barrier application instead of 3s-longer icd on invigorating speed

Soulbeast, holy shit nerf sic em. How much longer are the devs going to sit on it?

Spb, increase shield block cd to 30s and remove might generation from forceful gs to tone down some of the sustain
