In War Eternal - the Final Cutscene, aurene and the commander are together, then aurene evolves and flys into the sky with mach 3 speed. after the flight to the stars she flys close the the group to drop the commander and is gone. WHY is the commander not dead after this flight???

Do you think the commander is humans I mean earth human? Besides the fact that some of the races are well superhuman in terms of strength and resistance. One of the them are plant dragon minions that function on magic another one is small so small and its known that being small increase the chance of surviving an fall. But of course the commander can use magic no matter the profession and I am pretty sure each one can enhance the body. Also gliding and all that.

Because Aurene would not risk their life.

I doubt that she was actually flying at mach 3 speed, or even mach 1 given the fact that we could hear her passing (as mach 1 = speed of sound). And keep in mind that she's an Elder Dragon at that point, which means she was no doubt growing. While she may have looked close, she could have been a dozen kilometers up in the sky as she flew by and not right next to them (granted that would mean going faster, causing more updraft as she passed, so probably not).

Also, done for rule of cool and not realism or thought out for what the repercussions of Aurene's flyby beyond "is it cool?" just like they admitted in Guild Chat was their thought process for killing Joko and killing Aurene.

We're going to eat Aurene next episode and dealing with the indigestion will be season 5. Mark my words.

I am getting /Tyriagonewild vibes here.

I'm getting a "homeless Floridians high on bath salts and hungry for some face-meat" vibe.

nah, the commander is probably a demi-god now after claiming Eater of Souls' power while in Underworld, a creature not even The Judge is capable of defeat

as The Judge's role was to direct the spirits, it could be The Judge injected his magic into the commander to allow him/her to be able to wander back to Tyria, which possibly he had stepped beyond the boundary of what Grenth had permitted him to do with his power. For all we know The Judge is likely not exist in UW base on Desmina's dialogues at the end of HoC

demi-god + Sohothin = puddle of Balthazaar jelly

The Judge never said he could not defeat the Eater of Souls. All he says is this:

The Judge: When Balthazar left, a fearsome beast, the Eater of Souls, rose to prey on the waning life energy of the spirits here.Nenah: That's got to be the screams I've heard in the distance. The Judge: If you were to defeat the beast and claim its power, that life energy might be strong enough to reanimate your body. The Judge: Allowing you to go back. The Judge: But if you were to fail, the beast would consume your entirety. The Judge: I could grant you no final reward or punishment. Your spirit would simply cease to be.

The Judge mentions nothing about his power in relation to the Eater of Souls, doesn't even mention whether or not he cares about its existence or it feasting on souls. Just that it's there, it arrived after Balthazar left, and that any soul it consumes cannot be judged.

Nah.

The Eater of Souls was just your bog standard parasite monster. The Judge itself could probably handle the Eater of Soul but The Judge simply acts on the task given to it which is judging souls and nothing else. All the Eater of Monster was was a jump starter to get the Commander's body functioning again. If the Commander dies again, that's it, they're dead for good unless there's another deus ex jump starter at the time of death.

No, because being Awakened is a specific type of undeath related to Joko's power, or the power he grants some of his highest ranking servants.

The commander is not a demi-god at all. The eater of Soul's power did nothing more then allow the commander to actually resurrect, as those spells/rituals/power had faded/disappeared. It was a huge risk that meant the commander could've been erased if they failed.

The judge did absolutely nothing to influence the fight or anything to actually help us beyond going "Welp you could get back.. but it'd require killing this horrible beast."
