Some colors change so drastically, one really has to tinker a lot to find the coloring that goes well under any circumstances. That's very true, I also notice that the colour options are pretty limited on the wings as well, a lot of dyes don't work well on them or tend to make the same Red/Yellow or White or Purple/Pink combo just in different shades or brightness. There's still a lot of options, just less than what I originally expected. Many of the brown dyes will give you similar results to Red dyes.. same for green and blue dyes, purple and pink dyes tend to also give similar results.Still can't argue with many of the results though, I've seen so many glorious colours on this skin so far ^^ I love it. SinisterEternity.2564
Agreed with the above as well^For example the Phthalo blue dye looks entirely different (on wings) depending on the lighting, this is what it'll look like in most of the areas:But in one of the anomalies in Jahai Bluffs, it'll look like this:More little comparison pictures here, sort of: https://imgur.com/a/pXgdJVTI find it a shame for this otherwise beautiful skin addition. I would love to match the colours of my Skyscale to my character, but the blue dyes (and a lot of others) just don't work well on its wings. As I played with Shaders on Medium I had no issues with coloring my Skyscale how I liked...and all dyes looked so beautiful with shaders on Medium. You could match hues so well and make it look majestic. When I turned Shaders to High...oh boy. :( All the colors I matched for it turned pinkish (Bronze dye on wings) and it completely ruined the whole idea I had for my Skyscale. After trying other dyes I realized how horrible it all looked, as the colors would change to different hues, but most would result with a pinkish hue. Even Shadow Abyss has a purple touch to it.I liked the Abyssal Sea dye but it would make the Skyscale look like a peacock. The best bet I got was dying the wings Shadow Green and dimming that pink hue as much as possible (I don't like it when mounts 'shine' too much as it hurts my eyes).I'm just happy I play with Shaders on Medium as it makes the lighting in game more realistic and 'less wet' so to speak. A big shame that Skyscale's wings keep getting pinkish feel with majority of dyes with Shaders on High. This is how my Skyscale AND my character look with Shaders on Medium:Skyscale:1) (Dyes: Shadow green (body), bronze belly, bronze wings, shadow green horns/details)2) (Dyes: Shadow Green wings instead of Bronze)My character:And this is how my Skyscale and character look with Shaders on High:Skyscale:1) ( Dyes same as number 1 for Shaders on Medium )2) ( Dyes same as number 2 for Shaders on Medium )My character:

Donari.5237
Here are a selection of my skyscale dyes, the least pink/purple ones. Apologies for the Discord image links, I don't use any of the services the forums allow to embed. Dye listings are upper left (body), upper right (belly), lower left (wing membrane), lower right (wing filigree). Shots are taken on a ledge in the northeast corner of the Fire Elemental platform, where there is excellent sunlight. Some pink/purple will creep in here and there, but more as hints than as hijacks.Swampblack, Glint's Ambition, Enameled Longevity, Toxin:https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819343308095557/AndretStand.JPGhttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819312337354762/AndretLift.JPGShiver Sea, Shadow Green, Enameled Perseverance, Oasis:https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819466603986974/AvalloqStand.JPGhttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819395288236055/AvalloqLift.JPGCerulean Sky, Crushed Bone, Cyanide, Shiver Sea:https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819547923021844/BriaraStand.JPGhttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819510425944102/BriaraLift.JPGEnameled Jungle, Shadow Abyss, Enameled Onset, Shadow Abyss:https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819610610958411/DonariLift.JPGOk, this one has some purpling, but the overall effect in motion of of reds and oranges --Enameled Emblaze, Ember Red, Bloody Red, Sunfire Lava:https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819683571007501/LordVStand.JPGhttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819653980323879/LordVLift.JPGWhite, Electro Blue, Sand Shark, Shadow Blue:https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819743016878090/MarciaStand.JPGhttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819714768240680/MarciaLift.JPGAnd this one just flat out embraces the purples and pinks but I feel it is vivid rather than insipid so I'm sharing it --Shadow Yellow, Shadow Orange, Enameled Crimson, Shadow Orange:https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819896268226560/ScrappyStand.JPGhttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819868200206376/ScrappyPose.JPGhttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819839267897362/ScrappyLift.JPGhttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819793126228108/ScrappyFly.JPGEnameled Legacy, Starry Night, Shadow Blue, Phthalo Blue:https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819956888764428/TaheefaStand.JPGhttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819931290927185/TaheefaLift.JPGShadow Green, Enameled Perseverance, Abyssal Sea, Cerulean Skyhttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588820020679671818/TayyibStand.JPGhttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375715891280609285/588819992502599680/TayyibLift.JPG

Most blue dyes look green-blue/Cyan rather than blue/deep blue, and some other hues just seem to look the same (red/brown, green/blue, etc) unless you play with Medium Shaders as mentioned above by OP.It's not the end of the world, but I wish they had made it different, to allow more variety in what we see.
