Revamp PvP

They should revamp pvp remove unranked and allow stronghold on ranked also WvW should be like in PvP allow us to choose our build at level 80 like in the hall of memories and pvp as we like save alot of time for pvp players who dont do pve also add new maps too what do you think?

If pvp were actually pvp based and not capture the points it could be saved

When they brought pvp to guild wars 2 they mixed it in with other parts of pvp games and instead of having separate subsections like in guild wars 1 there is just pvp.

Original guild wars 1 had fights to the death and elimination. These should be in pvp and as part of the core game mode.

The combat.

You ain't gonna save PvP with the state of the combat system. If anything it'll die faster because it's so bad now.

It’ll remove the botting community and match manipulation would be 99% easier to catch

Or what about areas where the capture points only occur sometimes and they dissipear after capture

i think they should add new maps keep ranked pvp only because rewards are more fun to play for and maybe only pvp not capture points

Revamp means to me to delete everything & start over. Not trying to implement or combine stuff that's broken & yet never fixed.

Build templates.Rework Stronghold to be attack/defend but as a payload style map. Incorporate it into ranked as part of the map rotation.

I logged in just to say this is dumbest thing I've read in 2019.

You must not read much. GW1 is still to this day praised for its PvP, how would implementing ideas from it be a bad thing?

PvP is a broken system the way it is at the moment. The population is dead and the match making system pairs you with people from anywhere in ranked.

It’s not a troll these are all observations that many people on these forums recognize as being true.

There has to be implantation of new stuff in pvp that isn’t just new maps to help revitalize it.

Ranked stronghold doesn't work because heal/support is too strong if they know what they are doing. The best possible SH team is legit 4 Firebrands + 1 thief to run around summoning npcs. That's not exactly a good meta.

Maybe arenet should actually think about making changes to make more classes or specs viable competitively instead of just the same handful year after year, they players who have been pvping on the regular have to be getting insanely bored by now. Same classes,same builds etc every match lol and I donno has alot been changing since they layoffs other than few initial communications from devs after the initial lay off making people believe things were gonna be different? That's a serious question, does everyone like the direction things are going?
