Depends what Thief is against you... If High Burst or Mobility/Condi Cleanase.And which Weapon set-up he is using. you are mesmer/necro, 99% mesmer moves are High predictable, due to every mesmer play same, same goes to necro. When you learn how this both char works, is easy to counter play you.

Mate, because we know how to play Thief, we know his weaknesses, his strong side.. and we know what need to be buffed, etc.But you write something what is completely big joke, e.g. also you state this topic joke from you, but you do not mention it above in your first post. Also when you want to buff thief, write something what have logic.. not perma-knockdown, invul for 10 sec etc... that is not buff... that's complete bullshit. And whole concept which you mention have no logic. No DPS, only none useful blocks, etc.

Ahahaha no... maybe 2 or 2,5 sec would be enough, this is with that CD ridiculous OP. Change CD to 120 sec or 240 sec.

From the start of this game, Thief was design as Single target DPS, and characters like this has to be "call it OP" to single targets.Thats why Thief excel in PvP and WvW-Roaming. But is sad, he is still perma nerfed to the ground, due to crying kiddos do not like Single target dps, and cannot with their AoE characters insta killing thiefs And also these nerfs were also reflected in PvE where he lost his "utility" in groups and is outdpses by any other lolCharacter

Focus,Imagine Thief as "lonely" Bard. Thief as Support role.. Why not? Any class now have their "support" role.... why not Thief?

Trololo Marauder Deadeye d/p+Sbow thief here... I only answer to main topic, due to I'm lazy to read whole forum topic. In 50 v 50 fight they are FOR SURE broken, nothing kill you fast as ¬35 Condi necros, when you clean all condies in 1milisecond you have other ones, or you are dead.Well in 1v1 it really depends on build and how skilled you are but. You need to be prepared you have enough condi cleaners. And after when you clean all condis, fight is piece of cake.
