  1. Hello Anet, I main a necromancer (in fact it's the class I play 99% of the time), and I mostly play pvp conquest. I always felt like the playstyle I truly lacked is a ranged glass cannon build. So I was one of the lucky ones who got exactly what I wanted. I played in beta 1 and it felt amazing. I had that feeling that if I go into shroud, I'm a threat to everyone (including myself), and if I want to survive, I need to exit and deal dmg to take advantage of the passive healing to stay alive. Now in Beta 4, the healing part of the kit is gone (and I understand the reasons given), I feel like there's nothing I can do but parkour myself through life to stay alive. I am ok with that, but in this case I think my shroud should be devastating... but it's really not. And playing power harbinger is even worse. Once I saw this, I tried playing a virtuoso shatter build. And it felt good, same gameplay (weak, but very deadly). I enjoyed that too. But again... the damage was too low for what it's trading off in survivability. Then I played a vindicator, I loved it. The flow, the feeling, everything. Until I pressed GS 5. I mean that damage has to be a tuning issue, right? The damage on GS 5 is what should be on a virtuoso F1 with 5 blades, and on a harbinger shroud 2. Then I replayed all 3 classes again 🙂 . And I started getting an idea of why I was feeling this lack of damage (apart from vindicator gs5). I realized it's not the damage on the new specs, it's the amount of blocks, iframes, protection spam on pof and hot specs. Because playing versus beta specs feels fine on all of them. Clear openings, clear cds I need to avoid, etc. This got me thinking. Maybe EOD will bring a huge balance (PVP wise) to all pof and hot specs (and why not, even core specs). With all the wvw restructuring, there has to be some changes to conquest, right? ...right? I hope that's the case. In conclusion I just wanted to give my feedback, that if previous specs get nerfed, then it's mostly fine. Otherwise some classes need some number tuning. And please increase the power dmg on shroud 2, I know that means it's gonna buff condi as well, but maybe you can use the power trait (cascading corruption) to additionally increase shroud 2 power damage and remove the torment from it as consequence. Nobody uses it anyway since quickness is much more valuable. And while you're there, some power love for pistol would be nice too 🙂 I'm really excited to see what's coming next. Thank you for reading this. Later edit: The "Unholy sanctuary" trait on Necro Death Magic, makes no sense to put you in shroud on killing blow. Im sure this was an oversight 🙂
