So I probably will never unlock the Skyscale (using the borrowed one for the brief story step really irritated me & unless some mastery drastically changes the mechanics of the mount, I’m gonna pass) but every time I walk near one of those new rifts I get a pop-up talking about “unlocking the mastery on your new Skyscale” Is it possible to disable them? Am I missing some toggle in the UI options? Ty in advance!

Hey, my best advice would be to head over to the nearest bank & open up the wardrobe tab (left side, looks like a closet). This will let you look at a huuuuuuge variety of armor/weapons on your character model. Once you find some stuff you like, you can use /wiki to look up where to get it! As for somewhat quick items (that I quite like), seek out the cultural armor merchants in your race’s home city (like The Grove for Sylvari) & they’ll offer a few really nice pieces. I’d also check out crafting profession back pieces... some of them are very nice & they’re relatively easy to make. Also, now that you have PoF/HoT, you’ll gain access to elite spec specific weapons/armor through collections (character panel, achievements tab, collections, specialization collections). You can also check out GW2Style.com, which shows a lot of really nice outfits & allows you to click on the armor to look up names of pieces & for links to the wiki page to learn how to get them. How this helps!

It would be an absolute nightmare to balance & no doubt wildly unpopular, but I would love a potions-centric Engi elite which functioned based on luck in the same way as the Elixir X elite skill. The thought of the frantic, unpredictable gameplay is really neat to me. Roll the dice & make the best of whatever situation you wind up in.

Very interesting idea. If I may ask, do you select the names randomly or do you also select it based on behaviours and/or habitats of a specific species? Somewhat random. At times it will be related to specific color-scheme I plan to make use of in Fashion Wars. Other times, such as with P. audax, I just like the species and want to use the name. :tongue: Edit: I’ve also considered using names for certain proteins relevant to specific pathways I study (my work is biochem/molecular bio of venom mechanics) because some proteins have really funny names (looking at you Drosophila Toll Signaling Pathway)

I’m an entomologist irl, so I named all of my characters spider species; Phidippus audax, Argiope aurantia, Dysdera crocata, etc. Have considered branching out into other Orders (Diptera/Hymenoptera offer some v cool species names) but digging the spider theme atm.
