Agree. Ziplines are effectively useless to me because of this.

Just adding my frustration as well. I main a necro m/m and only PvE and trying to use a non-minion build is both frustrating and not at all fun to play. If only Anet would give us an update on this, that would be nice, especially as some of us don't use Twitter or any form of social media.
