  1. Oh my lord, I hate this freaking wall and its hit box that appears 30 degree to the left of the arrow indicator so much! Like, can it sync please so I don't feel deceived by the indicator?
  2. I have an auto Mai Trin's voice converter inside my head. Whenever I'm in that moment, the new Mai Trin's voice and dialog would be filtered out and my monolog will replace it with the old voice file. Unintendedly.
  3. Not everyone who gg at MAMA cares about killing it slightly faster. At least for me, because I used all my CC and stab skills at the knights already, I'd like to gg to have them up right when MAMA appeared. Like most people, I care about the consistency of skill timing.

On top of the how obnoxious the green bar is, after you've finished the entire story, when you finally got the free time to check the map achievement list, only to realize that you've been doing the events ineffectively. When you were filling the green bar the 7 other times, you'll just grab what's available nearby to fill it asap so that you can FINALLY progress the story; On the achievement list however, there's a checklist, you'll want to do each event once so that it can be completed as a whole set, then you'll receive your 1AP, the whole quest line reset and you'll need to run the SAME check list again for 3 more times for one more AP each time until it stopped giving you AP. You're not only doing one chain event multiple times, but it's multiple chain events multiple times. If the green bar in between story break didn't exist, the multiple unique chain event times 3 wouldn't be so bad although I'd be bored of it already 1/3 of the progress. Because the green bar existed, the map event outstayed its welcome. In fact, it was the chain event achievement that got me stopped playing not long after SOTO released, I just went to play other game instead after I've finished the story. Even though I have always been an avid AP hunter, I just couldn't stand staying on the map waiting for that 1-specific event for the x-th times anymore. Imo, the green bar should go, so we don't get overfed and got sick with the events before we actually start doing the map achievements.
  5. The mini game is the reason that why I never bothered to loot them, apart from the big one that I run into unintentionally while questing. I feel that having the mini game is a redundant mechanics, because we already had to unlock it first with an entire mastery line. Why with the double unlock system? We should have it either the mini-game, or the mastery line, but not both. That being said, I don't think I'd be looting them anyway even if the mastery line wasn't there in the first place because of how long it'd take to unlock one. 5/7 decoding is too much, imo 3/5 would be more fair if we didn't have the mastery. Again, if we have the mastery, the mini-game shouldn't be there.
  6. It's not about that lol. it's more like, it should be included when we ran the story the 1st time. I've already ran the story twice, I don't want to run it again because I'm too busy doing a whole bunch of daily/weekly stuffs. I don't even have time to set foot on the Soto map again after the first few days even though I want to, for the other map achivements lol. No, I'm not only just referring to the wizard vault daily/weekly. I have stuffs that I was already doing before Soto like strike mission, raid, etc.... Now that with the vault system, I've even more daily/weekly to do. I mean I'm not against content, but can they please deliver them all at the same time, if it belongs to the same, in this case - story chapter? I really hope that they don't do this again on the future story chapter. I never really like running the story more than once, let alone 3 time. If they gonna put a lot of 1AP achievements in the same story, so be it! But please let me get them all in the same instance, is my wishful thinking ☺️

  8. I thought the pop up that tells you what you're rewarded with would sufficed. The thing is if they keep adding non-despositable stuffs that take up bank space, a lot of us will move those into a storage character, never look at it again and forgot that it existed. Having more bag slot is irrelevant because some items are not supposed to be stored on an active character hence it's natural that I'd move that to the storage.
  9. I feel like the motivation system shouldn't even be there in the 1st place, it's very convoluted and added jank to the whole rift system. Material and gold sink should just be added directly to crafting the actual armor instead, paying or involving a whole crafting process just to summon a rift is just weird.
  10. Just wanted to point out that, whilst the mystic clover stays in the raid and fractal vendor, mystic coin however, was removed since EoD released that it was never put back. Before Soto, yes you can buy clovers from the EoD, fractal, and raids vendor, but you can only get 10 MCs from the EoD vendor + 7 from ley-line anomaly daily farm per week. Realistically speaking, You are allowed to buy 30x clovers (cost 60MC) per week but there was no way that you can buy that many from pure MC farming, even if you included the previous daily login reward. I was only able to buy 10x clovers per week at best because I'm always short of MCs. Now that they've removed MCs from the EoD vendor too in favor of Soto, I don't even know how to get the MCs I need anymore (dislike paying for the inflated price on tp), because it's going to take a while before I can collect enough shards in order to afford it every week lol 😢 I need MCs not just for buying clovers, but there are also that 3x Halloween skins that cost 100x each to craft, which I've been thinking about it for 3 years now. Not to mention that there are several non-legendary related area that also uses MCs (achivement, exotic with unique skin). Therefore it's really sad that they take this approach (keep removing it from the older NPCs after each new content release). It's not like I got those currencies from free, I worked hard for them by playing the content and it's sad that I can't use them on the MCs anymore.
  11. This! And also other numerous things that should belong to the material storage. Such as piles of silky sand, coconut milk, intact mosaic, etc... Also some of the keys/tokens should be in the wallet instead. Such as pact scout's mapping material, dwarven key, Ornate Rusted Key etc.... Reason because anet keep adding non-depositable items in the game after each expansion without increasing the max number of bank tabs to hold them since many years ago. Some of which are inconvenient to store at alt because sometimes I need access to them not just on one character (such as the account bound jade bot stuffs, drizzle wood stuffs like the charr field homing beacons & sieges, FTT deployment stuffs, etc...). It's a dilemma lol.
  12. Another point why I don't enjoy the new daily system is that, we have "Loot the chest of grand Valdhertz Riches in the Valdhertz Crypts minidungeon" today as 1/4 of the daily. It's not an issue if it isn't bugged; but because it's bugged, we left out with no other option to complete today's daily, which is a huge let down for most of the people. Hence why we really do new a few options to select from, such that, when one just simply bugged (not because we don't want to do it, and who knows how long until it'll get fixed), we can do something else instead, but in this case, it's just a very anti-player system.
  13. What makes me sad is that, the daily will include asking me to do something on an expansion map that I haven't unlock yet because I've purchased the expansion. I want to do things in order, there are other story/map in the previous expansion that I will need to complete before I move on to the new map, having no other option is just either causing me to forfeit it or tp to friend and daily on the new map anyway and see spoiler ahead of the story, if I want to min-max the daily system which is what I usually do. Also I'd like to add that, before Soto I usually do half of my daily in PvE and the rest in WvW, therefore on average I spend about 1-2 hrs in WvW everyday, more time than what's needed to complete the daily. I've met some friends there and would casually run with them when they're online, even if I'm not running wvw with friend, I'd play a bit longer when I see a tag and join them for raids, because it's fun to do so. After I've selected PvE + WvW as the first week, I immediately deselected it after I saw both the obsidian sanctum JP and the 10x defender as weekly. I'd rather going full PvE now and don't have to login to WvW everyday anymore.
  14. I'm all for more guild slots! I've joined several other guilds for their activities without officially joining the guild in-game (but joined their discord), which is a shame because I could have more interaction with them when they're not on discord for scheduled event. It's very inconvenient because I need 1 or 2 people from the guild to add me and pm me when they need me to fill (ie: raid, or any other instanced content that were advertised within the guild which I can't see unless I'm in the guild. I don't always play around the same time everyday, therefore joining more groups would benefit me from playing with guilds that are active on different timezone (I'm sure people who work shifts can relate too, allegedly 😛).

  17. I don't know, may be because I'm sad that I get verbally abused and I want to rant a bit, or may be I really shouldn't make this post or delete it because apparently people dislike reading this.
  18. What I mean is, there was a mob in front of me, the person before me already hit it, I only hit the mob AFTER the guy did it first, so the person before me received the credit too. "I finished the rest of the heart quest with character specific object", means there were objects on the ground that I can press F on, which I didn't need to touch another mob for the rest of the quest, if I wasn't being clear enough.
  19. So apparently, vets aren't even allowed to be on the starting area according to some guys who called him/her-self "justice". I was doing map completion that I started before the festival of the four winds, because I'm desperately needing the gift of exploration. The map completion is an eternity of work therefore I still have a lot of maps that I haven't covered yet before the steam launch and I only managed to find time to do it now when the festival event is FINALLY over. I ran into an area with a few people, I only tagged "one" mob which was already tagged by someone else hence I didn't kill it too fast, there were also character specific objects that I can tag (press F on) so I finished the rest of the heart quest that way, only to be verbally abused by another vet, who claimed that he was "helping" noob by following them and me being there was disturbing his work, I reasoned with him that I only tagged one mob & did the rest of the quest by pressing F on objects, he wasn't buying it & continued to shoo me off the area even tried to pvp me while I was just idling still while talking to him. I can understand that with the influx of new players they need to quest there, but a vet shouldn't be bullied by another vet who called themselves justice because they also need to quest there. I am also very mindful when there are people around me. Also I don't agree with the way that he was helping someone, because while he was talking to me, the guy he was "helping" ran off to somewhere else without him, all he did was just following a random guy & help him to kill normal easy to kill mobs, but new players shouldn't need a shadow following them for normal mobs anyway since there are also a lot of other players around. I really hope that this kind of toxicity will not prevail because the game make quests that send everyone there including the vets (i.e.: map completion/map specific quest for making legendary). So everyone should have the right equally to quest there regardless.

I don't think they should do that because: - Strike is supposed to be a tool to lure people into doing raid, not avoiding raid. - Allowing strike mission to unlock the raid armor collection would cause people not wanting to step into the raid at all, hence defeat the purpose of the point above, and the number of raid attendance will suffer even more.
  21. 0. While we're at it, I'd like to add that I'm deeply dislike the skill "Depth Charges". Not only did it attract more mobs to you, but it also became the troll's favourite skill. I notice whenever I arrived at a fishing hole where there's someone before me, almost every single time when the person before me left, they always use "Depth Charges" before they depart, if they weren't successful on their 1st attempt, they'll do it again a second time while they were leaving. Suggestion: can we please have this skill either completely removed, redesigned into something else (like stealth skiff/shielded skiff for 5 minutes), or make it so that it only affect the skiff who casts it? IMO fishing should be a relaxing activity, it shouldn't be something that is grief-able by other players. Just on this point alone is enough for me not wanting to fish anymore. Other problems I have with fishing are: Fish of the day is often not to be acquired on the same map as the daily fishing map. This just results in players having to save one of each fish in the inventory, in order to save another trip to a different map (hence having fish of the day from the different map pointless). If fish of the day and fishing daily are on the same map, I'd be staying on the map longer to fish for what I need, instead of hording everything to save myself from trouble. You cannot check what is the fish of the day is, unless you port to the NPC in Arborstone st. Fish don't get tired out over time and slow down its pace: I get it they wanted to make fishing into a mini game, but it doesn't make sense for the fish to never get tired out. Fishing holes are near aggressive mobs therefore it adds stress when you have to get out of the boat to kill them, this is stressful when you are pressing your time for the dusk/dawn time-slot, or scare of loosing the skiff buff. There's no way to tell that I'm out of bait, unless I bring up the hero panel & navigate to the equipment page for fishing manually. Suggestion: when the fishing rod is out, bring out the tackle box, and equipped lure panel too so we can easily swap out baits when needed, and able to see how many baits are remaining. Very minor, but nice to have: have the NPCs in the Thousand Sea pavilion sell all lures and baits, and ALSO the daily NPC. Right now I have to port to Arborstone to check the fish of the day/buy lures, then port to the pavilion to port to the fishing map, then port back to the Arborstone to turn in the fish.... It'd be faster once my fishing toon acquired all required wps to just wp straight from Arborstone instead, then I'll no longer be needing to go to the pavilion anymore.... It'd be good if we can have less loading screen.
  22. I was hoping that they'd sell "Tips on fishing (fishing power buff)" and basic fishing rod at the merchant, turns out that they're only basic merchant. I agree that they should have more lure & bait there aswell, since it's a VIP area, there should be an incentive to go there instead of aborstone.
  23. Might be of minority but I'm actually glad that the meta don't shift that often...... Whilst I can understand why people want it that often but please let me share from my perspective. I play the game a lot but I'm a slow learner, it takes about 2-3 months for me to be really good at a build (used to be longer, like 3-5 months) - not just able to use it, but can confidently bring it to any hard mode and be fluent with the rotation + situational skills. I also don't just play 1 build, after I successfully mastered a build, I will pick up another so that I can be the person who's flexible in filling a role for raid and fractal; well..... a tiny bit of balancing here & there is fine to re-adjust, I did not say that I'm against balancing, but if the meta have a major shake every so often like how some people are hoping for, then I'll have to relearn every single role every time when there's a new rotation/skill changes for every single build that I've learnt, if that happens, I'll just forever sticking with playing 1 build or just 2 max so I don't have to feel like doing homework indefinitely by re-learning all those roles, if not I'll either go crazy or I'll get burnt out on this game lol, because I'm not like the top few percent who can just master something immediately. I'm just another average gamer (certainly doesn't belong to the elitist level group).
  24. What team were you placed on? First Haven What team did you expect to be placed on? Skrittsburgh Did you change/toggle your selected WvW guild after Thursday night, even briefly? Me & one of my friend joined the guild a day before the reset, I joined first and he joined few hours later as well as selected the corresponding guild, but he was assigned to the correct server (new guild's) and I'm still remained in the old guild's server. For more specific detail, he left the old guild but I didn't, but we both did selected the correct guild (new guild) for world restructuring. Have you shard/world transferred recently?
