I played wow for years, I was ther when the first server went live many many years ago. The mony just got to much for me each month then a friend told me about guild wars. I tried the free version and really liked it then my friend gave me the expansions. I will never go back to wow again.

I did the fire elemantel the other day and while people where waiting for it to spawn a commander was posting in map chat to come to him if you had a skyscale or griffon for a free champ. He got yelled at quickly.

I do not care for the event. The drops are just materials I can get by just playing the game which is FAR more fun then standing around waiting for a monster to show up. I tried it for a while but it was wait around for a half hour fight a monster for 2 minutes then go to the next one and do the same thing. BORING!

GoG Galaxy is a game client. You purchase games from GoG.com (Good Old Games) and you download them with the client and use it as a general manager for your games like you would with Steam.

Thank you all! I will give suggestions a try. I have really bad internet so jumping puzzles are painful and jumping while being killed sounded like no fun at all.

Is it possible or do mesmers ever do ports on the wvw jumping puzzles? I really suck at wvw but would like to get these done.

I have only been playing a couple of months. I found some very nice and helpful players and some very mean and nasty players.I was playing with some random people and another player asked me what weapon I was using. I showed him the green weapon I had and the next thing I know he mailed me this orange weapon that was so much better then what I had. He told me to keep it and have fun. I was trying to do a puzzle, and not doing very well. This very nice player offered to use a portal to get me to the end. I told them I wanted to actually do the puzzle so they took the time to take me through it jump by jump! That was so much fun! The opposite, I was doing an event with a couple of random players and we where almost done, when this group showed up and started yelling and threatening us because the map was supposed to be a "fail" map and we where not supposed to do the event we where supposed to let it fail? The abuse they piled on us was unbelievable. If I had been exposed to that the first week I started playing I would probably not hung around and found out how much fun this game really is. I asked a friend who has been playing since the beginning and he told be to just ignore that because it's common with the way some parts of the game have been setup.

I want this so bad now! it is the best looking mount I have seen. I can't wait to get it now.

I do not get it? You said you had no intention of getting the mount, you do not even have time to get the WvW mount which you said is the only game mode you even like so why do you care so much about the skyscale? If you don't like playing other games besides WvW and you hate WvW now because you need a mount and you have no time to get the WvW mount I can't see why you are even be attempting to get this new one? Alos why do you think anet neets to be kept afloat? They layoffs had more to do with reorganizing and priortazing then lack of money.

I am a veeeeery long way off from getting it probably several months at least but if they come out with any cool skins I would buy them anyway so I would have them when I do unlock it.

To be honest you come off as kind of a D-bag. It's that simple. Not everyone can grind all day like you. Wow, you can't come up with any good arguments so you resort to name calling? Shame on you!

While I like the fact they changed the feeding time gate, the rest does not really seem that bad. I have not even started playing through the HOT story line yet so POF is a long way off but I am looking forward to doing this collection. It looks like a long term goal which always makes a game more fun to play when you have something to work for. I hope they do many more collections like this one.

I am kind of new, a friend gave me a copy of the game and purchased the expansion for me and I am having a lot of fun so far. He showed me how when there is a daily the mesmers will teleport you to the end of the jumping puzzles. I think it's great! I can do the daily and still do all the jumping puzzles on my own time and take them nice and slow. What does confuse me is I thought I was supposed to tip the mesmers as a thank you? I have been sending money, usually around 50 silver with a thank you note as I do not really have a lot right now. Some times they keep it, but lately I have had a few send the money back and even send more back then I originally sent? For example, I sent some the other day and the player returned it to me but I sent 50 silver and he sent back 51? Am I doing something wrong? Was 50 to little? Is just an on screen thank you all they want? I do not want to seem rude or ungrateful for the portals.
