  1. No title this year? 😞 I know many people don't care about the titles, but I really enjoy them. I'm disappointed to not get one this year. Kinda like how they stopped giving minis for birthdays. I always looked forward to the minis ever since Guild Wars 1. Ah well, not the end of the world, just disappointed.
  2. I understand you being frustrated, but these kinds of things happen over the lifespan of games that have been out a long time like Guild Wars 2. I spent a ton of time and went through a very long and expensive quest chain back in Vanilla WoW to get my dreadsteed on my warlock. That wasn't easy to get by any means. It was a big deal to get that mount. Now? The dreadsteed is automatically given to you when you reach level 10 or 20, can't remember which. I worked hard for mine, but now it's given freely. There are tons of examples like this in every mmo out there. I do get the disappointment and frustration though. But if I've learned anything playing these games for many years now, it's not take them too seriously. Just play and have fun. Many people play these games like a job or second job and take them way too seriously. If I'm having fun, I play. If I'm not having fun, I move on.
  3. Blizzard has taken a ton from Guild Wars 2 over the years. WoW and Guild Wars 2 are the two games I mainly play and have played both for many years. WoW since early 2006 and Guild Wars 2 since the first closed beta. It has amazed me how much Blizzard has taken from this game. Some of it quite blatant copies. With that said, it seems Guild Wars 2 is about to take something from WoW. Reading about the upcoming Wizard's Vault, it sounds extremely similar to WoW's new Trading Post they introduced about 4 months ago or so. Honestly, it's a great addition to WoW and I love it. Very different from a season pass and a lot of fun to work towards things for some really cool rewards. The Wizard's Vault sounds pretty much like WoW's Trading Post with some changes and improvements here and there. I have been telling a friend who plays WoW about the many, many things Blizzard has taken from this game. I messaged him the other day about GW2 finally taking something from WoW and we both had a good laugh 😃 To be fair, many games take from each other to an extent. But I have felt Blizzard has really been taking it to another level lately.
  4. As I said in my first post, I bought the expansion from WITHIN the game itself yesterday. I read everything and it didn't "inform" me that it could take up to 72 hours until AFTER I made the purchase. I suppose I was just supposed to know this without the game informing me? As I also said, I see on the website it does say it could take up to 72 hours, but I didn't go to the website or buy it from the website. I just went to the website and checked before making my original post. I hadn't logged into the game in weeks and decided to buy the expansion upon logging in to the game yesterday. This should have been known from within the game when purchasing as well, in my opinion. I love how you insinuate it's my fault when the game didn't inform me until AFTER I spent almost $90 on it. I'm not the type of person who makes random purchases and spends almost $100 without reading everything. That's not the type of person I am. It' s too bad you couldn't have continued to just be helpful instead of trying to make a person feel stupid for not knowing what the game itself didn't tell them until after the fact. It's sad how people just can't be friendly and helpful anymore. I always try to be helpful to others in any game I play without being rude or sarcastic. It seems sadly many get off on being rude. Thanks for your help, I guess. I hope you feel better. You sure put me in my place on a random Sunday morning!
  5. Thanks, hopefully I will get them soon. I decided to ask here because out of all my years playing this game it hasn't ever take this long to get gems. It has always been immediate, so I was getting concerned that this was taking much longer than it did for others. Makes me not want to buy gems anymore unfortunately.
  6. I have a question for the people who have bought End of Dragons Ultimate edition. I'm regretting buying it at this point due to the fact that I bought it almost 24 hours ago, and still haven't gotten the gems. I wish I had bought the game from the website where I see the warning that it can take up to 72 hours to get the gems. Instead, I bought the expansion from within the game itself after I logged in yesterday and it didn't inform me that it could take up to 72 hours until AFTER I made the purchase. No warning upfront, which is honestly quite frustrating. If I had realized it could take up to 72 hours, I wouldn't have bought the ultimate edition, it's really that simple. I bought the ultimate edition because I wanted the extra character slot and gems. There is a 20% off sale going on with some items that I was planning to get with the gems. So, to those who have actually bought this edition, how long did it take you to get your gems on average? This seems like much longer than it should have been. I have played this game since the first closed beta. I was a huge Guild Wars fan and pre-ordered Guild Wars 2 the day it went on sale. I have bought all expansions and bought gems a number of times over the years. I have always got them immediately after purchase. Even buying this expansion, the expansion was unlocked immediately, my mount and skiff skins, extra character slot, etc.., all of these I was given immediately after purchase, all except for the 4k gems. I love this game and it's my favorite mmo. I have rarely, if ever, complained about anything regarding this game. But this, I am actually getting frustrated about. If I had of known it would take this long, I would have bought a different edition and bought gems separately, or not at all.
  7. The first game I saw have dynamic events was Warhammer Online. That game was actually quite fun so it’s unfortunate it didn’t make it very far and got shut down not too long after launch. In Warhammer they were called public quests I’m pretty sure if I remember right. I have saw many mmo’s take many of the concepts of that failed mmo and implement them. Warhammer Online was before Guild Wars 2 by the way. I feel the same as you though about acknowledging that all games take from each other. They definitely all do it. It’s nothing new. It doesn’t bother me that WoW is implementing Guild Wars 2 mount system somewhat. As someone else said, it’s the highest form of flattery. One game I saw flat out copy another one though and I was shocked they didn’t get sued. My son plays Fortnite and they put a new mini game in Fortnite that was almost a 100% copy/paste of Among Us. While all games definitely take from each other, such a blatant copy shocked me. I just felt they crossed the line there a bit.
  8. I know many people are a fan of hers, but her voice acting for the female Norn is the one in the game that really annoys me. So much so that I deleted my first female Norn because I couldn't stand the voice acting. I get that Norn are meant to be tough and a larger race, but it sounds like she is trying too hard to sound tough and it just doesn't sound right, too unnatural. I really wanted a Norn ranger so I later made another one and have tried to get used to and ignore the voice acting. I have gotten used to it some over the years, but it's by far my least favorite in the game. On the bright side, I have gotten used to it enough to somewhat play my Norn now lol. Edited to add which I voted for. I voted for sylvari female. I think the sylvari male is really good also and I do like the human female as well. But I do think the syvari female is definitely my favorite.
  9. It's actually the opposite of what you said. MoP is like Shin Jae from Guild Wars 1. I watched the trailer ArenaNet launched, I see the old Cantha and Shin Jea from Guild Wars 1. If you do a google search you will find that the campaign "Factions" in GW1 (which was Cantha and Shin Jae Island) launched on April 28, 2006. Mists of Pandaria from WoW launched on September 25, 2012. So if anyone basically copied another, that would be WoW copying GW1. But the thing is, both are oriental themes and in similar type locations, so the aesthetics will be somewhat familiar. To clarify, I'm not saying you said that GW2 "copied" WoW. But by saying Shin Jae reminds you of Jade Forest in MoP, first thought comes to my mind is how MoP instead looks like Cantha from GW1 and if any of the two took from the other, it would be WoW taking from GW1. WoW has taken a lot from GW's and GW2 over the years. They all do it though. Take from each other that is.
  10. This line in your post really caught my attention because whenever I think of the successful and good mmo's that are out today, I think of all the ones you listed and Guild Wars 2. Guild Wars 2 seems quite successful to me. I always see tons of people and my main guild is super active and has been for years. I am seeing a lot of threads here by people wanting more advertising for the game, more of a presence outside the game, etc. Would more players be good? I'm sure it would. But I got to say, if I had the choice between the game and community we have now, as opposed to a game with mass amounts of players with a worse community and it causing the game to change from what it is, I would much prefer what we have now. This game is different, unique. I love it for that reason. It isn't a WoW clone, a FFXIV clone or a clone of anything. It's different and I for one hope ArenaNet never strays from their formula for this game because I love it. My son actually just decided to try it last week and he has been loving it. It's a great game. It doesn't have to be like WoW, FFXIV or ESO to be successful. It already is successful. And honestly not sure how much success WoW is having these days. Classic has definitely helped them bring some back for sure, but WoW has lost tons of subscribers the last couple expansions and I don't think they are doing so great these days. I have played WoW since early 2006. I have played this game since the first closed beta. I pre-ordered the day it went on sale because I was a big fan of the original Guild Wars. I have played ESO and FFXIV, to a lesser extent. All are good games for different reasons.
  11. Already exist for light armor https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Incarnate_Light_Armor_Skin Which is not the point and isn't a bra... Really? Looks like one to me. I'm a female, I should know. Are you looking for characters to be primarily nude or what? Here's a link with an actual picture of the armor skin. Of course the character has gloves on, etc., but the chest armor itself looks a lot like a bra to me. GW2 armor example: https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=re7oCTCY&id=F72A56015CA088BBB7388A6EA78EE1400BB81DA0&thid=OIP.re7oCTCYxd-oWnmLxhvbaAHaF7&mediaurl=http%3a%2f%2fdulfy.net%2fwp-content%2fuploads%2f2014%2f04%2fgw2-incarnate-light-armor-skin.jpg&exph=614&expw=767&q=incarnate+light+armor+skin&simid=607996519378848296&ck=C599603B0069E9943089EC14EE6171C3&selectedIndex=0&ajaxhist=0 GW1 Ritualist armor examples: https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/File:Ritualist_Seitung_armor_f.jpg https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/File:Ritualist_Luxon_armor_f.jpg Really not a big difference there. Edited to add: Here is a link to a gallery of female light armor skins. Look through that and you will find quite a few bra-type armor styles. Compare those to GW1 armor skins and there is next to zero difference in the amount of skin that is shown in the two games. So with that, not sure what more you would be asking for except for almost nude characters. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Human_female_light_armor
  12. You are missing a ton actually, but it sounds as if you just don’t care for the many other areas of the game that you could do. When I first read your post I thought you had set a goal for yourself to do those specific things in a very short period of time and you accomplished your goal. But after reading your other comments, it seems as if you instead feel that you completed the full game with nothing left to do in a little over a month. Really though, your mission is far from accomplished. Those are the things you apparently feel makes you think you beat the game and did it all. It sounds like you skipped a ton and just focused on the story missions, living world seasons, etc. Did you do world completion on any of your characters? There was the recent xp boost because of the 15th anniversary, so I doubt it took you long to level with that boost. The thing about Guild Wars I learned many years ago when I played the original GW’s was that levels don’t matter. You hit max level and you have barely scratched the surface of the game. The content is what matters and there is tons of it. If you don’t want to do it, that’s fine. But you sure can’t say it’s not there with what you personally did in a little over a month at breakneck speed. I’m glad I take my time and just have fun in the game without thinking I need to rush to do everything. I have a ton of fun in the game. One of the things I love about this game is there is so much to do and I can choose which part to do whenever I like. For example, since I returned to the game a little over a month ago I have been working on a number of things at my own pace. I have been doing LS2, did some Path of Fire to get the raptor mount. working towards map completion, started the Heart of Thorns expansion, I started the process of crafting my first legendary, etc. All of those things I work on casually depending on which sounds like fun to me at the moment. I plan to get back into pvp, work towards better armor, do dungeons, fractals, work towards achievements and all of it. Sometimes a particular game just isn’t for someone. We all like different things. But you can’t rush through content, choose to ignore a large part of content and then say you completed everything. Well, you can say that, but it wouldn’t be true.
  13. As a returning player, here is what I have personally noticed. I started playing during the first closed beta and played from launch for about 6-8 months. I quit because I burned myself out only returning here and there over the years, but not putting much time into the game until I returned about a month ago. I have been playing a lot since I returned and have been having a blast. With that said, I agree with both sides in this thread. The majority of the community is friendly and helpful and we have many friendly, helpful people on the forums as well. It isn't fair to paint a whole community as toxic because of the bad behaviors of some. But I do have to agree that the community does seem worse than it was when I originally played years ago. When I returned I made a revenant to try something different and reacquaint myself with the game before playing my old main. Map chat in Queensdale was horrible and I truly felt like I had logged into a toxic WoW trade chat session. I don't remember coming across that when I played at launch. Someone was asking about crafting disciplines. I have always liked to help people when I can in any game I play. The person was wanting to know how many you could do. I told them two, but you could buy a third from the shop. Of course then we had a number of trolls jump in acting as if anyone who bought the third was an idiot. It was just a group being jerks to be honest who were making it their sole purpose to be demeaning to others who played differently than them. And it seems when one starts, it opens the flood gates for more and more. It definitely wasn't the type of community I remembered from years ago. Then last week I was playing my main in the Silverwastes working on my LS2 chapters. I was standing at a waypoint getting organized before going to a step in my story when I noticed in map chat a person in all caps literally demanding people to stop doing events and move to another instance. I didn't understand what the issue was, but it seems apparently Silverwastes is a farm map and they were running a farm. Now, here's the thing. If that person had of nicely asked in map chat for people to not do events, etc., they may have gotten a better response. But this person kept going off in map chat acting as if his group owned the instance and demanding in caps for people to not do events and to switch instances. I'm sorry, but that person and their farm group don't own the zone and didn't buy my game to give them the right to dictate how I, or anyone else, should play. If the person had been kind I would have gladly changed instances once I realized what they were trying to do. But as far as demanding? Nope, I stayed where I was. So it seems some of these older zones are now taken over by people farming? People want to farm? Go for it! But you need to remember that there are some people in the zone playing relevant content that has nothing to do with your farm. And if you want people to go to another instance, remember that kindness goes a long way. Those are just two examples of a type of behavior I have encountered since returning to the game that I don't remember encountering when I last played. There definitely do seem to be more toxic people for sure. But, as a whole. there are more friendly and helpful people than toxic ones from my experience. But is it worse from my viewpoint? Definitely.
  14. I agree with others who say GW2 doesn't need a dedicated game mode like you are suggesting. Path of Exile and Guild Wars 2 are two very different types of games. Your suggestion fits a game like PoE, but a dedicated game mode like that wouldn't fit a game like GW2 in my opinion. You could do something like Danikat suggested without introducing the game mode into GW2. Even WoW players who want a challenge and a change have a dedicated "Iron Man" challenge and community. There is a website with the rules and different ways to play the game to pose a challenge, where you can track your character, etc. They even have a couple dedicated guilds on a couple different servers. It's actually quite fun. I tried the Iron Man challenge in WoW a couple years ago because even though at the time I still liked the game, the leveling experience has been so watered down so much over the years that it's just mind numbingly boring to me. People can make their own challenges in games like WoW and GW2. I really can't see a mode being added to this type of game fitting very well. This isn't Path of Exile or a Diablo type game.
  15. I listed a number of ways to get gear in my previous post that doesn’t involve crafting, dungeons or buying off the trading post. I personally have rarely bought from the trading post. I’m confused as to how you don’t seem to see in all this time you say you have played, that mobs drop gear, you get gear from karma merchants from doing heart quests, from your personal story, living world stories, etc. The more of your posts I read, it sounds as if maybe the systems of this game just aren’t to your liking and you prefer other mmo’s, and that’s perfectly fine. The problem with your arguments though is much of what you are trying to say is just false. If anything, I think they have improved upon the new player experience over the years. I originally started playing from the very first closed beta. The game now has more pop ups and direction than it once did. Every time you level you are given tips about what to expect in the levels to come. If you actually click on those tips, it gives you even more information. You are even given gear and gathering tools as you level. I don’t see where the game doesn’t help guide you. The heart quests and encouraged exploration is part of what people love about the game. You do those and you open up achievements, karma merchants, etc. GW2 has so many different things a player can do. You aren’t on rails like WoW as an example. Maybe you prefer that type of play style? If so, all good. But GW2 is a different type of mmo and I don’t feel we need it to be another clone of others. Many people like this game because it’s different. I suppose the game is only a farming simulator if that’s how you choose to play it and see it. I personally haven’t ever played it that way and don’t see it that way at all. You have many options what to do and how to play. How you choose to play it is your choice. The game doesn’t need to change because you don’t want to explore or see what the game has to offer.
  16. Dungeon gear and crafting isn't the only way to get gear in GW2. If that were the case, most of my characters would still be in their starter gear. I have put a lot of years into WoW and have also played ESO some as well, so I know how their gear systems work. There are a number of ways in GW2 to get gear without crafting or doing dungeons. Gear drops in the world while you are exploring, killing mobs, doing heart quests, etc. While I play, my inventory is constantly being filled with weapons and armor of blue and green quality. I have to stop often to either put it on the trading post or salvage. There is also gear almost always rewarded during your story quests and living world chapters. Also, many of the karma reward merchants offer gear once you open them up from doing heart quests. That's actually where I got a majority of my gear when I first started playing GW2. I did some crafting in the beginning, but really didn't go very far with it in the beginning because as others have said here, you level faster than you can keep yourself geared from crafting. I suppose if you wanted to spend a lot of gold to buy mats to keep it in line with your level you could, but that wouldn't be easy for a new player at all. I also disagree that new players don't have any fixed objectives. I think there are many objectives a new player has to work towards. You have the zone completion, map completion, the story missions, etc. The open world exploration, heart quests and story of GW2 is the objective in my opinion. As you continue to level you have more and more to work towards. The mastery system, crafting ascended armor, legendary weapons, LW chapters, expansions, fractals, world bosses, tons of events and the like. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding somewhat, but GW2 definitely isn't a game that I see lacking really for the new player. There is so much to do and work towards, no matter if you want to work towards it casually or at a quicker pace. I do agree with you on the part though about the few people who do dungeons. That's pretty unfortunate because they tie into the story and can be fun. Edited to add: I do like some of your suggestions though. I could see some of them being fun and beneficial for some new players. Maybe you should post those in the suggestions section. I just disagree that the new player experience is lacking in objectives. I think there is lots in this game for a new player to aim towards. You also have achievements to work towards. This game is different from other mmo's like WoW and ESO. I for one am very happy it is different and hope it never starts going in the direction of other mmo's. I love that GW2 is different and unique.
  17. Anytime, and welcome back by the way! Have fun! :)
  18. I agree with this. I recently returned myself after quite a long break. I had primarily played at launch. I quit while LS1 was still going on. I loved the game, but burned myself out. I did come back here and there over the years, but really would only play for a day to maybe a week. Each time I would come back overwhelmed not knowing what to do and would pretty much just leave again. My 80 necromancer is my main and I wanted to play that, but I was just lost. I found myself constantly creating a new necro each time I came back to start "fresh" I guess you could say. That personally never lasted for me, because what I really wanted to do was play my main and not be lost as to what to do. I returned to the game this last time a few weeks ago and am having a blast. I truly do love this game. I bought both expansions so I could finally just really get into it. Well, bought Path of Fire and Heart of Thorns is free, which was nice. I bought it the day before it went on sale for 50% off. Just my luck! What I did was create a new character. But not another necro lol. I decided to try the Revenant. Fun class, but as I started playing, I did start getting a feel for the game again. Enough to the point that I felt I could log onto my main and give it a try. One thing that was driving me nuts was the inventory issues on my main and in my bank. So the first thing I did was sell, salvage or get rid of what I didn't need. That way I felt more free to actually play the character instead of having those issues. I looked over all my abilites, traits, etc. and just decided to jump in. I figured until I actually tried playing her, I wouldn't know if I was totally lost or not. I found myself remembering fairly quickly, finally playing and having fun on my favorite character. I picked up where I left off as far as the story goes. I went back and reread some of the stories I had done years ago to catch me up so I didn't feel so lost. While doing the story I have been gradually working towards map completion. I will say this for my experience coming back. I do advise doing the first part of Path of Fire to at least get the raptor mount, and this is why. I had been being adamant about playing the game in order and not skipping ahead. I didn't want any mounts or gliders until I hit the areas they were introduced in. But this is what I found happening for a returning player. Most people are going around the old content on flying mounts and other very fast mounts. The problem with that is this. In Living World Season 2 you are going to have story chapters that have you going to areas and your objective isn't in an instanced story area. They will rely on events you trigger in the world by talking to someone for example. I would talk to the person, they would mark it on my map and it would be far away sometimes. Me not having a mount made this a frustrating experience that changed my mind about waiting on mounts. Before I could run to the area to do the event tied to my story, other players had swooped in from their flying mounts or got there quick from their other mounts and the event would be done before I could get to it to continue my story. After a couple days of that, I decided to at least get the raptor mount. Sadly, doing that first step of Path of Fire will spoil the story a bit. This ended up being much longer than I meant it to be, sorry! One last piece of advice though. Play what is fun for you to play. Don't feel like you have to play a certain character or whatever. Play what is fun and you are in the mood for. No matter if that is an old level 80 or a new character or two.
  19. So in other words, you created a poll with the assumption in your mind that the majority would say yes. When you realized the majority have no desire to add tails to the game, you call those people closed-minded and get offended that not everyone likes what you do? People are individuals, we all have our own likes and dislikes. Just because you love tails, cat ears, etc. on your characters doesn't mean everyone does, and in this case of your poll, the majority don't. There isn't any need to think it through. Some people just don't care for adding tails to the game. For me it doesn't have anything to do about realism. We are playing an mmorpg in a fantasy world with all kinds of unrealistic things. I just don't have any desire to have tails in the game. And telling people to grow up who has a different opinion than you? Really? Would it overly bother me if tails were added? No. But you made a poll asking for people's opinions. If I had a choice, my answer is no. I would rather them not be added to the game. If you truly didn't want people's opinions, maybe you shouldn't have asked for it.
  20. I played Guild Wars 1 in my free time while this game was down. I still love that game and go back to play on occasion. At some point I would like to unlock all the Hall of Monuments for all the rewards here. I have some, but a long ways to go. When I played a lot years ago I primarily played Prophecies over and over because it’s by far my favorite campaign. So I need to get to work on the others and the expansion lol. I have done very little in those.
  21. Agree. I'm just happy my progress and items are back. That's all I wanted and hoped for. I don't need any other compensation. I had put a lot of time into the game over the weekend so had lost quite a bit. Had lost lots of progress, characters, character levels, items bought with gems, gold, items, etc. And even though I would have lost a lot in terms of progression in the game if they had not been able to fix it, I know others would have lost much more than even me. I just logged in to check to see if everything seemed to be back to where it should be, and all looks good so far. Thanks for fixing this unintended rollback so we didn't lose days worth of progression! I was worried it wouldn't be possible.
  22. Really? You are going to play that attitude when people have lost money and time? Look, I think people have a reason to be hesitant to play the game right now until this is resolved. If you want to log on right now, play the game, possibly buy and spend gems, you go for it! But I know I'm sure not going to risk more progress and money being lost until I see how it's resolved. Your response was uncalled for. I didn't see anyone in this thread overreacting given the circumstances. I don't see anyone shouting profanities, making threats or anything irrational here. The OP even said if it wasn't fixed, they wanted a refund. I suppose wanting a refund for money lost is an irrational response to you? I said I just wasn't going to play until I saw how and if this was fixed because I don't want to lose more time and money. Again, irrational response in your eyes? Should people's time and money mean nothing and we should all just shrug if off and say "Oh well, money thrown out the window and time wasted. No big deal!" Give me a break. I'm sure ArenaNet will fix this as best they can. But it needs to be fixed, bottom line.
  23. I really hope they restore things back to the way they were. To lose days worth of progress isn't ok, at all. I played a lot this past weekend, and all that progress is gone. I also bought 1600 gems over the weekend and some of those are gone. I used the gems to buy an extra character slot, bag slot, and one living world episode. It left me with a little over 200 (had some from long ago). I just logged in to check what I have and don't have. My newly created character is of course gone. But I do have the empty character slot, so maybe that's one bright side? In the game, I still only have the 225 gems. So the game recognizes I bought the living world episode and bag slot, (since the gems are still gone) but I no longer have the extra bag slot or living world episode I bought. So that's 600 gems gone. That is what's really upsetting me right now. With how long tickets are taking right now apparently, how long before we are refunded the money or gems I'm wondering? Hopefully they can just reverse the rollback and all will be good. But at this point, I'm not going to play until I see how and if this gets resolved. I'm worried anything I do will be for nothing and get wiped. Disappointing because I had recently just came back to the game about two weeks ago, bought both expansions and was having a blast.
  24. I know this might sound silly, but are you certain you are logging into your old account from launch and that is the correct account you purchased the expansions on? I can't think of any reason your characters would be gone, especially extra character slots, other than being on the wrong account, or maybe you got hacked at some point. Even if you had gotten hacked, I don't think the hacker could delete extra character slots you purchased. I suppose a way to test this would be to just quickly create any random character. Login to the game and see if you have any achievements or anything at all. If you don't have any achievements or items in your bank, I would say chances are you are on the wrong account. If you do have achievements from years ago and items in the bank, definitely something odd has happened and I hope you can get someone to help you from support soon.
  25. Thanks Inculpatus! I was skimming over that page some yesterday but had not read all of it. I'm thinking I might at least do the very first part of Path of Fire to unlock the mastery system and get the raptor mount. The more I play in Tyria seeing my character gain all this wasted xp, it's starting to feel silly to me not to at least unlock the system to put that xp towards something.
