I've been rewarded in all game modes so far. PvE, got several precursors from the mystic toilet, got rare infusions, rare drops. Got a lot of fun in several metas and bosses. And I have a terrible addiction for gathering. I spend probably 70% of my gaming time gathering stuff. In PvP, got some cool fights ( and also very frustrating ones), rare dyes when we were able to craft them, ascended stuff. In WvW, amazing fights, memorable 1vX, 2 precursors drops, and also but rarely ascended drops. And the best experience I had in guilds were with wvw small group guilds.I can't complain really.The game is farting gold, so even if you don't have rare drops, you can still buy or craft them. It's still a lot better than farm 100000000 times this dungeon/raid and never get your damn item.

I can understand why Anet is using this kind of business model. They need money and it’s something we see more and more in the industry so why not? But as a customer, I have the power to NOT support it. And I won’t.

Good: artmusicmountsstoryhero pointsNeutral: elite specs. Only tried weaver so far and melee sw/d seems to be better with a condi spec. Have to respec first before trying. I’m not found of condi builds, and I’m afraid Iwon’t enjoy soulbeast either because of these.bountiesBad: no epic metas. Desolation or Vabbi are perfect for metas.Overall, love the new expac. It feels so imersive but I fear it will be deserted pretty fast because of lack of replayability.

I didn't even know this fight was such a thing until I visit these forums. I killed it with my d/wh fresh air (melee) tempest and I didn't even noticed he was healing. I just dodged through his tether and killed him easily.
