  1. I'm kinda curious how this e-spec will manage as solo in pve compared to the others.
  2. Jora perhaps a future e-spec will explore Jora post gw1. Perhaps she goes on a spiritual journey of sorts and picks up rit weapon spells like splinter weapon, nightmare weapon, etc. Since sword and shield are already taken, a longbow? Despite being mainly a warrior, she was also a hunter. Jora was a fav of mine and the lack of meaningful Jora in gw2 is sad. As for others, it would be interesting to see Razzah. It was a being made of the mist so a legend of it could be good for some unique approaches to the legend system.
  3. If the weapon really is scepter like a lot of people say, then perhaps a spec based around shadow magic. With e-specs being essentially an answer to dual class system perhaps this e-spec borrows from necromancer and use shadow copy minions with each type of shadow being a different kind of thief (like a dagger, a sword, pistol, etc) The scepter skills being focused around hexes while the rest of the skills being minions not to different from necromancer minions (perhaps more offense focused instead of defense)
  4. what if the new gimmick is to treat one handed weapons as if they are two handed with new kits. For example, right now you equip a one hand sword and you only get 3 skills, but with this e spec you equip a one hand sword it gives you full unique 5 skills. New weapon could be pistol still and use this mechanic as well.
  5. Isn't the whole point of e-specs so they can duel class or mixing playstyles in a way that is easier for the developers to manage? Renegade is basically spirit Ranger Reaper is basically power warrior etc You can look at any e-spec and tie it in to another class. I'm not really into the minion rev idea, but your argument is against the very idea behind having e-specs to begin with.
  6. looking at the image and the design of the greatsword. What if the legend is Razah? (a non-human creation that was a ritualist hero in gw1) That greatsword looks a lot like Razah's design.
  7. To be honest, I think the closest thing to spirit Rit in gw2 is memser more than renegade. Clones/Phantasms are basically spirits. You call them out, they attack and draw attacks away from you, and the whole concept is you manipulate them through out the fight. As for what I would like to see is a weapon spell Rit concept. Imagine a greatsword weapon and you cast this games version of splinter weapon turning your attacks into cleaves. This is just an example. Using different types of weapon spell depending on the situation at hand.
  8. My two issues so far are Range hate is a problem. It invalidates majority of Virtuoso's kit with no ability to resist leaving them with nothing to do but twiddle their thumbs. This is not fun. Please give Virtuoso a way to ignore it, if that is to much then a utility skill that will allow us to counter play it and bypass the range hate. It is frustrating and not fun when your spec is invalidated by a pve enemy or player pushing a single button. Swords feel like an after thought. Please improve the synergy of these weapons with Virtuoso. At least then if we encounter range hate we can swap to them. As it is, swords both mh and of doesn't feel good enough in regards to risk/reward especially considering virtuoso mechanic leaves us more vulnerable. I feel like improving synergy with these weapons would do well in matching the theme of the spec which is using psychic blades to fight.
  9. A one handed spear that functions as a range condi-focused weapon. .. okay I will admit it, I miss my burning spear paragon. and throwing spears of light sounds like it would be fun. x.x
  10. Now that many Guardians have been able to tinker around and play firebrand for a little bit which elite spec do you prefer? Are there any reasons behind your choice? What are your reasons for not choosing the other elite spec?
  11. I would like to see the Monument armor sets. I always liked them and would like to see them added as armor skins.my personal favsRitualist (light armor, I like the blend of the armor and tattoo like design)Assassin (medium armor, for the love of gods not ranger i'm tired of 90%+ of medium armors being trench coats....)Paragon (heavy armor, since paragons were a big part of the Sunspears which were a major group within Elona, it could be fun to add and maybe inspire some RP) I would also like to see more armor sets like the Heroes had in gw1. Jora - Brotherhood set (heavy)Anton - Deldrimor set (medium)Livia - Shining Blade (light) There are parts of the armor sets that I would love to mix and match with the current ones i'm using. =D
  12. Don't forget Chakrams. That are good weapons for long, mid, and melee rang fighting styles and could fit pretty much any class. It could even be used with magic if you get creative with it using how people would normally fight at range with it. (think Xena Warrior Princess, imagine a legendary weapon after trail of it as you throw it into a group of enemies and it bounce around before coming back)
