  1. No. How can you even play WvW and seriously suggest adding a fourth team when the servers can't even handle three-way fights? Right, you "just" discovered EotM so you're probably not even an active WvW player. So maybe don't speak for everyone. EotM isn't part of the regular WvW score because it was created as a map for people who were stuck in queue for ebg/borderlands. There you'd be thrown together with other servers that have the same team colour as you and if there were already too many people on one team the game would create a new overflow just like in pve. If your team (colour, not server/link!) wins in EotM you'll get a supply drop in the citadel on your home border. Unfortunately, EotM has been mostly left out concerning new additions in WvW like gliding, mounts and even pips so it's mostly dead nowadays apart from guilds looking for a spot to GvG. Also a lot of people hate the concept of being able to drop to their death at every other corner. Sooo... no, a lot of people would not be happy about your proposition.

  3. I started a new topic on this issue over in the bugs section as I feel like the WvW subforum is often being ignored overlooked. Feel free to make some noise there as well... This needs to be fixed asap.
  4. WvW Objective Defender has always been a tricky daily to finish with the only foolproof way to earn credit being to repair a wall/gate. Now that repairing doesn't give credit for defending a structure anymore, it's kind of a lottery whether you get credit for defending or not. Just today we were defending Garrison for ~15 minutes (definitely longer than the 3 minute def event timer) until the enemies finally managed to take it but despite killing several players (I lost count but it was more than 3 since I finished invasion defender ;P), destroying siege and closing the gate to stop enemies from running back I still didn't get the objective defender and neither did several other players. I understand that you're trying to stop people from just wasting supplies and leeching defense participation while not actively playing.... but please find a way so players who are actually defending can still get credit.   5. Dolyaks in WvW can be knocked down and it would be close to impossible to kill speedy dolyaks if they also had stability. Btw you should really get into WvW if you enjoy killing dolyaks that much. Start farming yaks running towards Stonemist Castle or whichever objective the enemy team is trying to upgrade. Preferably if the structures are about to be tier 3. 😉

Because the Mad Realm Mounts Pack is 2k gems for 5 skins ( = 400 gems per skin) whereas the Mad Realm Warclaw alone would cost 1.2k gems via Mount Select License - when it becomes available again. The issue wouldn't be quite as maddening if the prices weren't so ridiculously unhinged. I'd happily pay a little extra to zoom around on a fancy raptor in Lion's Arch during reset night or enjoy some of the mount skins when I occasionally stumble into PvE every 6 months or so - but it doesnt feel right to pay triple the price for a single skin because the mount wasn't around when the pack was created.
  8. I'd say it's a little bit of both. On the mini map it looks kinda blurry and unfinished. Above the NPC's head it looks too big and doesn't fit the art style of the other icons (like golem banker for example). Also I don't quite understand why they chose to go for another helmet symbol which makes it difficult to distinguish from the armorsmith. Instead of opting for the more obvious choice of a shield (defense... shield... you get it), maybe an unbroken version of what we had before?
  9. You do not have to play the new elite spec, just the core class or any of its specializations that is connected to it. While the hint in the ingame collection is worded "As a mechanist, complete the End of Dragons storyline." etc. it was probably supposed to say engineer instead (as it does in the wiki and both HoT and PoF specialization collections for similar items). So for example i played the EoD story as a reaper and still got credit for Harbringer's Feat. Not sure which story step triggers it, if it was the final fight or the gathering at arborstone. But as has been stated before you have to get to the story step in question yourself and have it as your active story while doing it. You can't just join another player's instance unless it is also your active story. (You do of course have to unlock the collection first by skilling at least the first step of the elite spec, which apparently you do.)
  10. Guild siege and tactics are a sinkhole for badges of tribute so yes, scribes that supply WvW guilds actually need them.
  11. While we're at it I'd like a free emblem of victory pls since I've won way over 120 ranked matches before legendary trinkets were a thing and I don't enjoy the current meta enough to do the grind again. K thx bye. 🙃

  13. Sooo... I won't be able to build even a basic amount of defensive siege in keeps/towers because others abuse the system? Or I'll just pop a tag and invite some friends to build troll siege if I want to drain supplies etc.? Also, imagine a commander popping a tag for a quick defense or some havoc stuff and not being able to build enough siege because the squad is small or people won't join in the heat of the moment. And will the extra siege dropped by commanders just despawn as soon as they tag down or will it stay? Sorry, this suggestion seems pretty flawed to me.

Usually minis should automatically disappear when there's too many people nearby anyway, but somehow - for a few months now - minis won't even disappear when there's 3 blobs fighting at stonemist. Since squads will often stealth before entering combat this wouldn't really be a solution 😉 Would be handy if minis would just become invisible whenever their owner does.
  15. Trying to get verified on ts while running across home bl towards hills to catch up with the commander. I was SOOO nervous because I really hated talking to strangers back in the day. Then the ts supporter asked me to port back to citadel or something (in confusing WvW terms) to confirm that I'm on the server but a kitten pve mob got me infight... I think in the end I just had to write something in map chat. Somehow I survived without having a heart attack. My next memory is scouting Anza for the very first time (our commander used to have us do 15min scout shifts back in the day) and calling out every single enemy that walked by. WvW seemed so huge and confusing back then.
