  1. Summons are not at all niche or unique to a single profession, and skins should be made available for all summons (elementals, turrets, spirit weapons, etc.) provided there is significant interest from the player base. This is the game for whatever cosmetic effects players will buy in Gem Store.
  2. They should hire more Program Managers to provide the right direction for the dev teams, as a lot of the top player requests would be low-effort and wildly profitable. It is a shame to see ArenaNet going through layoffs when all they ever had to do was listen to their customers. Examples of top-requests that have been ignored/refused for no good reason. Skins for summonsRace change itemsUnlimited shared inventory slotsThis is my idea for Necromancer pets that would require almost no effort on the part of ArenaNet. Palawa Joko's Minion Pack - 2000 Gems"Necromancer minion skins are replaced with awakened variants. Praise Joko! This will change the appearance of your Necromancer minions and unlock these skins for all Necromancer characters on your account. The corresponding skills must be unlocked before the minion skins can be applied." This pack contains the following items: Blood Fiend skin becomes Awakened Occultist. Bone Fiend skin becomes Awakened Archer. Bone Minions skin becomes Awakened Mummy. Shadow Fiend skin becomes Awakened Canid. Flesh Golem skin becomes Awakened Commander. Flesh Wurm skin becomes Awakened Catapult. Tons of other zero-effort skins to choose from if the above pairings seem off... https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Awakened This would go nicely with other "Awakened" skin packs, such as the Awakened Mounts Pack.https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Awakened_Mounts_Pack
  3. Let’s not forget that stepping outside the “bounds”’ for even a few seconds while inside any instance, results in the player losing all progress as well. What’s worse, these arbitrary boundaries are often way too restrictive. If they’re going to be in there to help guide the player along a path, that’s fine, but they shouldn’t be enforced with the severe punishment of potentially hours of progress loss. Please remove every piece of server code that ejects players from their instances and forces a loss of progress!
  4. It would require a trivial amount of work to make both players and ArenaNet's bank accounts happy with an expensive gem-store item. It is literally one byte of information that stores a player's race and resetting the personal story progress table is equally easy to do. Every other successful MMORPG allows this. This one item would provide enough funding in of itself to prevent another round of layoffs, so this should be escalated within ArenaNet to a Program Manager who can make a data-driven decision based on projected sales.
  5. There are many professions that summon all sorts of pets or animations. A few examples are Necromancer minions, Elementalist elementals, or Guardian spirit weapons. There should be no game mechanic that destroys these summons prematurely outside of a PvP match reset. A couple of examples of annoying and arguably broken game mechanics that can destroy some types of summons: MountingTransformations (e.g. simply using the Candy Corn Gobbler)The cost in summoning all these things has already been paid by players in terms of the player's time to cast them and any cooldowns that must be waited out.
  6. Please return the swimming area with a test Golem to the PvP lobby.
  7. Please consider allowing some of the most-requested features to be crowdfunded through the Gem Store. As an example, allowing players to dye weapon and backpack skins is something that ArenaNet isn't staffed to handle. OK, fine. But what if ArenaNet simply put a price on the cost of said feature work and added a tab to the Gem Store for players to be able to fund it? Any projects that couldn't be completely funded could have the gems refunded back to the player accounts. Seems like a win-win scenario.
  8. ArenaNet should follow the path other successful MMO's have taken and have two executable files, one that runs the old DirectX version and one that uses DirectX 11 or 12. Making DirectX 9, which is a ~20-year-old technology, the ONLY choice, has already started turning off a lot of would-be customers. Right now MMO's running DirectX 11 or 12 are seeing 3x the FPS of GW2 on the same hardware.
  9. I've got it and love it. I get TONS of admiring comments about it. Please commission the artist to do a LOT more in the "plush" style. Aside from other mounts, I'd love to see full armor and weapon sets.
  10. As mentioned in the prior post, it also works with other forms of temporary Toughness increases such as food buffs. This is 100% a bug that it doesn't work with Death's Carapace.
  11. Palawa Joko's Minion Pack - 2000 Gems"Necromancer minion skins are replaced with awakened variants. Praise Joko! 12. Please consider making Legendary Glyphs available, with selectable functionality similar to Legendary Runes/Sigils. Maybe these could be added to the Legendary Armory?
  13. I don't see why they can't monetize this idea for those who really want it. As an example, the following could be in the Gem Store, under Upgrades. Way of the Norn - 1000 Gems"All characters on your account have spent time learning the ways of the Norn and have gained access to all Norn racial skills." It'd be a fun purchase for those of us with the means to support the game and gives ArenaNet some business justification to do it.
  14. No, this is not fixed yet. I just confirmed using the repro steps in the original post. The bug might be isolated to just the Toughness gained from the Death Magic / Flesh of the Master Trait, because when I consumed a Plate of Spicy Herbed Chicken my Condition Damage increased as expected. I didn't test with Banners, WvW bonuses or other things, but as mentioned it should work with ALL forms of Toughness increases.
  15. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/TransfusionPer the description, only Scourges receive self-healing from Shroud Skill 4. It seems for Necromancers, by design, "Healing will not occur while life force replaces health." I suppose they should update the mouseover/tooltip information for Transfusion in the same way they did for Soul Eater and Parasitic Contagion. Examples below... https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Soul_Eaterhttps://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Parasitic_Contagion
