  1. Not everyone has constantly 5 free character slots (taking your case of earning 30 charges), taking me, only 1 slot left not gonna sacrify my 7 toons for what, 6 charges for each? Your answer prove the system is wrong, better reworking pve to make charges easier to obtain in that gamemode. Rewards tracks on the contrary in wvw as example make you swim in charges and tomes of knowledges. I even consider 0 charges earned by characters: cause when leveling, you may want to already spend those 6 to look more decent even if you aren't 80. If you meant, killing your alt in loop just for 6 charges, it's sad, really. But it is already the case to farm bl keys, which is another bad system too btw. You shouldn't earn charges or keys by map complete or killing in loop each week your alt but by doing every world boss during the day or after doing a certain numbers of daily event or dungeons would be better and making more sense. you do not need 5 character slotsdo the maps on 1 character, when done just delete that character and create a new oneit's the same as black lion key farming (rip those days) just for transmutation charges. capitals map very fast when you get the hang off it, mounts only speed this up

  9. In actuality you would have died. I see this argument all the time. "Condi keeps hitting you when you have moved away" yet it always ignored the fact that you have already been hit and have already taken the damage, its just delayed. Its not the fault of the damage type that you fail to play defensively at the right time and have taken enough damage to kill you over the next few seconds. If it was power damage and you did the same you would have died long before. Yet the thought process would be more likely to be "I misplayed somewhere" / "I didn't defence" / "I engaged poorly" / "I was out of cd" than the common reaction to the same mistakes vs condi of "ITS OP" / "ABSOLUTE BS" There have been nerfs to condi burst and the strongest condi builds usually get hit. Remember condi theif? Where are all the complaints about it now?Condi is damage over time...but if you consistently fail to avoid attacks or strong skills you will start taking more and more damage. Your bias has probably lead you to never learn why you are dying, just see the condi in the death log and call BS / OP .Your preference to power damage, specifically melee fights, means you have better learnt those matchups and the higher details for this in the death log top skills has made it easier for you to do so. Though I do like the complaint about "what if I have used my defences or get plussed? I just die then" like its something specific to condition damage... On the point of burn guard. Permeating Wrath and Spirit Armoury could use a nerf of some sort to burn duration but besides that I can't think of much else. even if they put an internal cooldown of 5-10 seconds on sword of justice (meaning you can only use it when icd allows, not when you have a charge) people would still die to it and call it OPusually it's the same handful of players that are very vocal. those that got a nice beating and instead of putting their own gameplay to questio, it has to be the one they faced that is abusing,cheating or OP. take your pick. just give it this shake it off treatment as in 2018 haha, see how "useless" it is now (plottwist, it's not and still used by every war) and i'll leave this just here https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Defender%27s_Dogmamaybe, stop nuking yourself when a dh uses f3. sadly i had to witness it in one of my games f3 has this very obvious blue shield guarding the dh front if you somehow think it's a great idea to shoot a rapid fire in said shield?   10. deleted everything but the important part (which was surprisingly little) look at the part i put in boldyou got +1'd, you lost and dh is unbalanced...yet you didn't play for 2 months so you hardly ever met a dh if that +1 was a thief, renegade, herald, core mesmer, holo or about anything that can do even little dmg you'd end up dead aswellyour case more then not you blew your cooldowns on a fight you were thinking to win, but you didn't cuz your team got outplayed by his no dh uses torch, not a single one. using torch means either giving up 3 blocks and a 9 hitter (ray of judgement) is 3 burn stacks on something trying to disengageorgiving up the utility that shiled providesno sane player is giving up so much defense, on a build that is allready glass. core guard uses torch because core guard can slot in an actual defensive traitline, but a core guard with traps..those are rare
  11. i'm most curious now to hear what is guard mobility since trapper runes are used as an excuse from the "burst out of nowhere" they lost the 25% movement speed from lynxso the only leap they can freely use is f2, one of their main sustain sources. condi cleanse and 2.9k heal no one is gonna use that for mobility, to then seconds later gets a beating what other mobility sources am i not seeing? sword 2 needs a target so can't even use that to move yourself inbetween nodes efficiently and what necro isn't mobile?core necro uses rune of the traveler (25% speed) and some use rune of speed (like permanent superspeed equivalent)meanwhile reaper uses rune of the lynx (+25% superspeed) necro has a direct swiftness source, burn dh has notthen the big 'ol wurm that is a 1.2k range teleport if needed.
  12. the counterplay has been said a million timesit's counter is ranged pressure. power shortbow renegade makes short work off burn dh it's second counter is lack of sustain. it has very limited condi cleanses making it lose to core necro and the likes it's third and last counter is lack of stunbreaks, you only have 1. and it's outplayed by anything that has mobility

So ill get more presure from my build and increased presure from chills and poisons (because those things I think I should counter - his heals and his recharge time)and none of this would properly work since the spellbreaker removes condis with about everything it does. and your aplications are more limited then histhere is a reason why scourge isn't really played anymore. even core necro is better then scourge.

The point for PvP is in the 2 vs 2 ranked atm your main goal is burn trough enemies life pool as fast as you can not to catch noded which require more sustain also you have aegis with you and renewed focus . Basically burn guard are very good at this.But what you are missing as cFB is cc and maybe might which in the 2 vs 2 you can coordinate with your pre-made partner on voice. The point for 2vs2 it will never be balanced because the game balance was never intended for this kind of game mode as result the meta for this vastly different then for 5 vs 5 . I also want to say don't trust metabattle on what is meta the PvP section became over the years a twitch fan base and people who put their sweet into new builds don't post their any more their builds because if they are good they will get nuked by Arena.NET in the next patch same goes for here or gw2mist and so on.aha the mysterious burn dh with both elite trap and elite meditation

  22. what is there to elaborate?you made the claim that the dh can port (from stealth) to an target and plant traps at his location (in stealth) to land his combo i said: in order to get stealth, the dh has to actually put a trap beforehand to get the actual stealth, before he can port and put some traps reducing his combo UNLESSi went further, and went with your theoretical version of the dh aiming to plant both his offensive traps on target(from stealth) . in order to do that, he had to put his third and last trap which would be HEAL first, to get stealth, to then try to land his combothe dh, that is allready a glass cannon, now with his heal allready casted (rip active heal part) now has the high risk of the fight not going how he want to (smart player not falling to a predictable movement) and his heal is allready cast and not even guaranteed to be triggered (rip trap activation part)so all that is left is f2 for +- 3.9k heal. shield 5 for +- 1.3k heal and that's it. if you can land 15 burn stacks on a single target then you 100% are playing in low, very low, divisions. and i'll end this here, this is getting ridiculous Dude, are you memeing? Carrion is not full glass canon, there is reliable sustain for what it is, guardian from the very basic always does. Would be considered glass if it was Destroyer/Grieving. I asked to elaborate on why using a trap early is bad, it's a trap, you have no reason to hold on it when you can have another back to back not long after. It's really easy to fall back to traps that are already set on DH, to say it's not viable setting a trap to use later while the next one could be ready after is laughable. Most builds currently in 2v2 have little to no blocks, resistance or stability. It's easy to melt anything when knowing what they've already used as you can straight up Symbol of blade into dragon maw and use the hell out of them with everything you got while they can't escape. I guess that playing on top of the board is still low divisions rofl, who would have hilariously known. Thanks for the compliment, I must be THAT good at the game even thought the build we are talking about is rated meta. 15 burns is not impossible to apply within the right plays, it never was uncommon to do so. Permeating Wrath is going to get nerfed soon anyway, mostly because it's stronger than it's PvE or WvW version anyway. lmao "top of the board" yet nowhere to be found in top 250, good one and what??no stability or resistance... the best setup right now is support tempest and necro mostly reaper but any necro build would worktell me that has no condi cleanse when tempest literally removes condi with nearly everything it does.... I particularly don't have issues with Necro or Tempest, they're strong but far from unbeatable. so you are on na, not eudifferent meta but by all means https://ibb.co/6w5mtHDtell me again how random users can't manipulate ratings(this is directly from the burn dh build) You're confusing the "number" rating with the "badge" rating, the number is by all means done by users yes, what appears on the lists of Meta, Great and Good however are done via curating, not user rating. that is correct, but they are more or less connected to each other in a way higher rating builds attract more (casual players). making the build appear more often leading eventually to a meta tageven in the mat 2 days ago nearly every team we faced had 2 burn dh, which were a push over for our condi heralds also the reason why burn dh is meta (it got the tag 2 days ago,n right after the mat) just because how common it is Anything condi is a push over for Mallyx given you play with transfers, that doesn't mean DH ain't good enough. Mallyx heavily relies on damage output of the player itself to fight back with. You try and play without transfers you'll quickly notice the discrepancy show and that will affect all classes not just Condi Herald, besides that we have the fact that since Mallyx weaponizes everything, that indirectly buffs or nerfs it in the end. Mallyx no matter the state of conditions will always be right behind it because of that. Given that you play that build, if those DH's have no counterpicks, they deserve to lose regardless for their lack have experience with the class to vary their approach, again doesn't mean the build is not good. We aren't in the days of untouchable Tetherbreaker anymore.oh i don't play condi herald. i am shoutbreaker, which in a way counters dh aswellnormally our heralds are power, but swap to condi when the fights seem condi heavy and i'm not that positive on the need of having transfers, you cover plenty of resistance to largely negate any possible burn burstboth the heralds, and the spellbreaker have more then 1 source of resistance and most are group effects.
  23. what is there to elaborate?you made the claim that the dh can port (from stealth) to an target and plant traps at his location (in stealth) to land his combo i said: in order to get stealth, the dh has to actually put a trap beforehand to get the actual stealth, before he can port and put some traps reducing his combo UNLESSi went further, and went with your theoretical version of the dh aiming to plant both his offensive traps on target(from stealth) . in order to do that, he had to put his third and last trap which would be HEAL first, to get stealth, to then try to land his combothe dh, that is allready a glass cannon, now with his heal allready casted (rip active heal part) now has the high risk of the fight not going how he want to (smart player not falling to a predictable movement) and his heal is allready cast and not even guaranteed to be triggered (rip trap activation part)so all that is left is f2 for +- 3.9k heal. shield 5 for +- 1.3k heal and that's it. if you can land 15 burn stacks on a single target then you 100% are playing in low, very low, divisions. and i'll end this here, this is getting ridiculous Dude, are you memeing? Carrion is not full glass canon, there is reliable sustain for what it is, guardian from the very basic always does. Would be considered glass if it was Destroyer/Grieving. I asked to elaborate on why using a trap early is bad, it's a trap, you have no reason to hold on it when you can have another back to back not long after. It's really easy to fall back to traps that are already set on DH, to say it's not viable setting a trap to use later while the next one could be ready after is laughable. Most builds currently in 2v2 have little to no blocks, resistance or stability. It's easy to melt anything when knowing what they've already used as you can straight up Symbol of blade into dragon maw and use the hell out of them with everything you got while they can't escape. I guess that playing on top of the board is still low divisions rofl, who would have hilariously known. Thanks for the compliment, I must be THAT good at the game even thought the build we are talking about is rated meta. 15 burns is not impossible to apply within the right plays, it never was uncommon to do so. Permeating Wrath is going to get nerfed soon anyway, mostly because it's stronger than it's PvE or WvW version anyway. lmao "top of the board" yet nowhere to be found in top 250, good one and what??no stability or resistance... the best setup right now is support tempest and necro mostly reaper but any necro build would worktell me that has no condi cleanse when tempest literally removes condi with nearly everything it does.... "labeled meta" yes by metabattle, where everyone can make builds and have their friends upvote it i would not really call that trustworthy..at best i'm out of here, it hurts to much. keep losing to burn dh and ask for nerfs, i'll see you on the next thread when class x is deemed to strong You're so out of touch. I particularly don't have issues with Necro or Tempest, they're strong but far from unbeatable. so you are on na, not eudifferent meta but by all means https://ibb.co/6w5mtHDtell me again how random users can't manipulate ratings(this is directly from the burn dh build) You're confusing the "number" rating with the "badge" rating, the number is by all means done by users yes, what appears on the lists of Meta, Great and Good however are done via curating, not user rating.that is correct, but they are more or less connected to each other in a way higher rating builds attract more (casual players). making the build appear more often leading eventually to a meta tageven in the mat 2 days ago nearly every team we faced had 2 burn dh, which were a push over for our condi heralds also the reason why burn dh is meta (it got the tag 2 days ago,n right after the mat) just because how common it is
