Posted a while ago the work around, and relaunching the game a few times doing the trick. Now, that no longer works. In fact, can no longer use my keyboard to access Task manager at all. Or, more accurately, I can. But I can no longer see what I am doing. So I push keys on faith. This is absurd.

Follow the above quote. The game launched fine for me on the second attempt after this bug. I followed the directions in the above quote, and the second launch of the game worked for me. Just now logged out after running around in Icebrood Saga for an hour.

This problem hit me today. I was able to log in about an hour ago and play in the Icebrood Saga, Charr Homeland area. Logged out. Went to log back in a few minutes ago, and my pc locked up. No graphics from the game, but heard the music, and I could not interact with any other window or layer I had active. Had to do a restart multiple times. Could not interact even with Task manager since I did not know the keyboard command until reading through this forum, thanks to Proxima. I am confused by this problem. My game updated yesterday, yet i was still able to play last night, and this morning. Only now after noonish does this issue hit me. Confounding.
