  1. Honestly defending or liking time gates makes literally no sence to me. Time gates do only one thing, remove player choice. This is what this is about.I play this game since release, never have I felt like I couldn't play the game the way I wanted until this major time gate. I am literally being forced to a pace that does not fit me because Arena Net believes it's the "wrong" pace?When people feel like they don't have a choise they tend to leave. There is a reason people try to get out of governments that remove choice aka dictatorships. Yeah this is not on the same scale I guess but its the same reasons "Oh I have the choice of not getting it" if they didnt want me to get they wouldn't even added it in the 1st place. I also genenually want to get it. They want players to get it, but its their choice if they dont, so WHY can't they choose WHEN to get it? It makes literally no sence!! They want to try sell me skins for it, as that is one of their major incomes on the gemstore, so why would they make people wait for it!? Role play!? I can do that without the time gate as well I don't get what discussion is needed here. They are taking away your choices and some seem happy with it, I'm actually mind blown Also to the argument that there are other time gates in the game, it is true there are.. remind me where have people liked those as well.. right they haven't for the exact same reason, they feel like they dont have a choiceTime gates on the legendaries are also entirely different, because people have a lot of stuff to get for those. I need 300 provisional tokens for my legendary armor and I can only get 13 a day.. sure, but after I get those 13 I still a shit load of thing to do besides that, so it doesnt affect me the same way. Same can't be said for the Skyscale, has doing thee collections is the only way to get it and they dont give me anyhting else to work on that will be needed to get.This time gate was to a content that was a major advertase point of the episode (literally the 1st thing they have shown) and it affects the majority of the playerbase because it iswas accessiable to pretty much everyone that has been keeping up with the game, which is still the majority of the player base Removing players choice is overall toxic for the game and there is no argument that anyone can present in favor of it. DON'T DO THIS TO YOUR PLAYERS! Your customers! The people that are invested, that had made friendships and some even families thanks to this game!WHY ARE YOU REMOVING PLAYERS CHOICE!? Sorry the long rant but I have literally never been so dissapointed with anything game related than this. Never in my life of playing videos games I have felt like I didn't have a choice, and if I had I left the game. This game is on the knives edge for me after this and I will leave for sure if they pull another shit like this in the future. I might leave if they dont remove this one as well, as I feel I can't trust a company that wants to remove choice from me. Whenever that happens my choice will be to leave, as at least that one they can't take away from me

I'm just starting to read this post and if you honestly think people wouldn-t prefer to spend hundreds of gold but have the mount right away than have this time gate you are dead wrongWould some people be annoyed? Yeah problably, myself would not have that gold for it, but at least I knew as soon as I got the gold I would have the mount and that could be done rather quick if I just converted gems into gold. Now forcing me to pretty much have to come in and do the new collection every day otherwise god knows when I unlock the stupid thing is a dumb decision! REMOVE THIS SHIT ALREADY!
  3. Berserker would never be better than Spellbreaker regarding competitive, wasn't even desing with that in mind I think. Yeah has couple traits related to that, but Berserker was shit before in PvP, it's still shit now Really fun in unranked tho, I wouldn't dare bring it to ranked unless I wanted to troll

The dps in this vid is false coz he uses double standart bonus and empower allies and he does not have eiter banners slotted or empower trait line.Mayby if he assumed hell get 2 warriors 1 banner slave and hell go dps( 2 warriors in raids and fractal.I belive that wont happen).And even the assumpion of other banner slave realisticly dmg wont be that high coz bosses move around and do stuff.Alo most baffling part is people to even do some damge get some weird s***t builds and not even use rage skills to prolong berserk.Why coz you cant get more damage if youll try prolong berserk.Thats so ridicoulous it doesnt make sense. This is either a troll, or the most retarded answer regarding bench numbers I've seen in agesAlso, IF DPS build was good, why wouldn't you see 2 Warrior in raids or fractals? What crime would one be commiting by playing with 2 Warriors? I would like to give you proper answers if this was a legit coment, like this I'm not even gonna bother
  5. Already laid my thought on Berserker on the Warrior section but here is a recap. I think it's a step on the right direction, but removing adrenaline from Rage skills was too much. Condi Build for PvE play feels super resident sleeper while outside of Berserk, since you are stuck there just aa with sword, since that's the highest source of damage outside of berserk, and you need to save Rage skills for Berserk. Make Rage skills give adrenaline again and buff Last Blaze so it is worth for condi builds over Smash Brawler.Power builds are never going to be built around anything else other than Peak Performance. Arena Net kinda drove themselves into a corner regarding power builds for Warrior with this trait, because having an adept trait give a 20% damage boost is really really strong, but without it, Power builds aren't even near viable. If they want Power Berserk to use Rage skills they need to buff them to be used over a Signet, which they should.

I main Warrior, but beyond that I play Revenant (currently my favourite DPS spec for raids is Renegade, but I do have all the others builds for it except Healer which I do have to get now with the Salvation rework) and sometimes I swap around the 3rd between Thief and Guardian. Have other characters, but the specs don't appeal me enough to comit to them

Already did a post with my thoughts on it, but sounds more fitting here, so here's a copy of what was writting(TL;DR At the end)I've done a couple bench tries, but I never got to 100% before so i don't think i'll get there now as well until I have a proper build to grind (If I feel like, haven't payed with the golem for about 3 months until this patch)I do like the rework, it doesn't feel like core we an extra funtions, it feels more unique. Just came here and I can already see the frustation, it's understandable, gone through it myself as well.It feels weird to play still, but I think once people figure out how get the max out of it, and ppl get used to it again thing will be fine. As for PvP, my experience was literally just one game, so I'll get it over with now. It felt weird, but I already have couple more ideas for it. For PvE at the start it felt clunky, some of the combos that sounded good to expand Berserk (Headbutt/Outrage) feels super weird and can easily be mess up I feel like.The class still needs tunning and fixing (there is rumor that Bloody Roar might be bugged, nnothing sure as far as I seen, some say yay some say nay). What I feel bad for power builds is that ther isnt really good rage skills to play around with. Peak Performance is so OP that any power build on Warrior, for any spec will have to be play around it, so you will need those everytime. The problem I see atm is that using Rage skills sounds goodto extend Berserk and do more damage, but none of the rage skills is worth over the passive of signet of might and expanding berserk uptime they give. I think they need to buff Wild Blow, and maybe also reduce coldown on Sundering Leap and buff it as well since as far as I recall that skill never seen the light of day in any build. Maybe with that adding a rage skill to the power build would be worth, atm it still need time, but don't think any of them will make it in the end.For the Condi build, that is not a problem since Rage skills as allways been used on it, that wouldn't change now, but I would like to see it using more than just Shattering Blow Headbutt. I think a buff to Last Blaze so it would make it more attractive for condi build to play would be good. Maybe add an extra stack on it.One thing that feels really bad with sloting Rage skills is that they don't feel worth at all to use outside of Berserk, so atm when playing condi BS whenever you are out of Berserk you end up just auto attacking with Sword until Berserk is off coldown. I guess the old Tactics build had a bit of it as well, but that one at least still played with the rage skills outside of berserk. I think with the rework it makes sence to have them extend the Berserk uptime, but it feels really bad that they dont give adrenaline and In my honest opinion that should be back on them. Removing F1 was already enough to make the spec unique when compared to the other ones, but the spec still needs adrenaline generation, and without these, it feels really weird. (Thinking about it again as I write this, that is the main reason it felt weird on PvP. I played without Signet of Fury and without Headbutt and without an instant adrenaline generation or an extra from just attacking it feels that it takes so long to get on Berserk) TL;DR: Felt weird at the start, still needs tunning but it's not as bad as these forum drama queens make it sound like.
