  1. LFG TAB What if we have one more line to press on top of all areas names called "all" where we can see all (duh) current groups looking for players and these would be sorted by group size, group with more people on top, people would still have to go to each of the other places to create groups, this area would be just to consult and join.
  2. Why people voting for another dragon? Alliances are much more needed
  3. I was hoping for something like a +30 power infusion ?
  4. LFG tab. Dear Anet LFG is the most important tool in the game, i would love to have the option to merge all zones tabs and see all groups currently posted in one single tab window(maybe that tab could be called ALL) , the sorting could be the same top to down, just show me all current posted groups. Similar to the inventory option that seperates by bags or see all as one. Obviously this is a option to turn on or off. I would leave this option always on. Why? For an experienced player that already understands the language players use when advertising their groups, the seperation by tabs is no longer needed, this would help players to fater find groups and decide what to play accordingly. Thank you for reading.
  5. i did reach the entrance but the instance teleport didn't appear
  6. This is the thing about mounts, we can use them to attack and i see a lot of potential there to be explored, but we can't use them as a defense, or in other words to run away. Don't lose time explaining how it would break the game if we could mount while in combat, that is obviously the reason why the devs didn't allow it in the first place. Instead try to imagine the fun that could bring.
  7. Because gw2 is a MMORPG? Learn to enjoy the game with randoms, make a group and be in charge, if there is an idiot you can kick him, you will see achieving in group is much more rewarding than in solo. Teamwork feels good.
  8. How about the elite specs of this expansion be one set of elite specs from another profession at your choice and able to switch, like the secondary profession in gw1 ?
  9. Here goes one idea that Anet should like: Add an option in the gem store for recurrent purchases of gems, this is for old lazy guys and gals like me, i don't really need that many gems, but i love the game and want to help, i can pay 10 USD per month and pile on gems to spend on something i like when i see it. Thanks
  10. Ohh yes, very good trailer, the hype train is huge. I can feel the legacy coming, thank you
  11. Not sure how hard this idea would be to implement, for strike missions that have the good rewards drop once per day as they do now, but wheb you do it again with a completely new team or at least one new member that didn't do it that day, you get reward again. If this idea is horrible, anyways the idea is to somehow give good rewards players for creating groups and grabbing noobs, this would also work for fractals and raids.
  12. If its a waste of time don't do it, this is a game, go work
  13. Less health (dps sponge) but more mechanics. Majority of players will agree. Also the combat system should expecially be more effective when players combine skills, is true skills already have big descriptions, would be nice some kind of visual indication on how to combine different professions skills to more effectively win. For a new player is hard to understand what all those terms mean and how to combine them. I suggest using some icon language especially for combination of skills across professions
  14. Domain of Anguish, guild wars 2 is 8 years old, it's time for really really really hard content, it's time for content that NO one, not even those raid hardcore super dps teams can win. Bring out the devil.
  15. yes, a manual way to do what the game does automatically is exactly the way to say it. LFG does the job is true, but adding the option to see the instance that have more players and be able to jump to it before joining a group is an improvement
  16. It's my turn to vote down an idea, I hate merch and heros in gw1, online multiplayer games should focus on human team's, this is what makes it fun and interesting
  17. Well the GW1 works because it is a heavily instanced game, plus where you use that dropdown, there is no combat. Why would they add an extra step (or multiple ones) for squad/guilds to play together? Why ruin the game for those players to make it easier for a random to get ported to a full instance? Just use the LFG if you want a full instance, the placement system is fine as is. You are finding non-existing problems and proposing systems that would make the situation worse, not improve it. No idea what you are talking about, but I was expecting your type of reply, anyway I'm still grateful that you keep bumping my topic up, hopefully someone from Anet will see it. ?
  18. The reason the cap exists is so guilds and squads can port their players to the same instance as they are. Imagine a map with 100 spots, if all 100 could be filled by anyone then playing together with people you want would be a game of chance. By having a soft cap at let's say 80 spots, it means 80 spots will be joined by anyone, but the last 20 will be filled by players in the same party or squad as some of the 80 spots. Meaning, easier to group with players, easier to play with your friends, easier to find populated maps using the LFG. All is working as intended. This is where the drop down menu with the available instances comes, for big guilds, squads etc be able to all jump to an empty instance and let the full instance for others. I mean the lfg feature and being able to jump to the commander already do a good job, i just see a place for improvement in the login placement and giving players the drop down menu like we have in gw1.
  19. Mega server means we can play with any player, but doesn't place every player on the same instance by default. I know, but the placement is just not linked to your WvW affiliation, like Cyninja just confirmed. I guess placing someone from an almost totally empty map into an already busy map could pose some sort of problem. I have no idea what kind of algorithms they use for this. Choosing your instance would be cool, especially when you are on a bugged map, I am looking at you Field of Ruins/Ogre Wars. Not sure what problems besides lag, if they use ping as a measurement to avoid lag, anyway players fight their way to the most busy instances, they should fix the algorithms that spread players, if what players want is to be on the same maps.
  20. Wooden patato is not gw2 player example, he is a youtuber, talks a lot makes content for bored people, but his judgement counts as any other gw2 player. Doesn't surprise if he wants to do something else.
  21. "you will simply arrive in a map and be assigned to the version of that map that makes the most sense for you as selected by the megaserver system we’ve developed" What makes the most sense for me using what criteria? This is what we don't know.
