  1. I really like the animation change too, it would be great if there is a video out there showing all possible animations.
  2. Thank you both and glad to hear from your practical experiences, especially that clip of yours @Hogwarts Zebra.8597 it absolutely made my day, fantastic! I can only imagine how rewarding that must have felt like 😆 After your feedback I'll surely try to test this myself, after I got home. I was wondering is it possible to almost maintain and use willbender F3 again and again by traiting tenacious defense, which reduces F3 cooldown after Aegis blocks an attack, and for gap times, if F3 is still on cooldown, use renewed focus. But that would mean you're left with only one additional traitline and deciding between honor and "Pure of Heart" trait or zeal and "Mystic Rebuke"/shattering aegis.
  3. Maybe a strange build concept, but which should be working great in a scenario, receiving multiple attacks, so that Aegis repeatedly procs. I haven't tested it yet, but I would like to know, what you think: The essence is using F3 virtue of the willbender, which can provide a lot of Aegis and honor trait line, most importantly the trait "Pure of Heart". If Aegis procs many times, the player basically is immune as long as F3 is active, due to the healing coming from "Pure of Heart" and no ICD. Pair it with "Mystic Rebuke" from zeal traitline, blocking multiple hits and proccing "Shattered Aegis"...should be worth a try. Another alternative to zeal traitline could be choosing the traits "Might of the Protector" (for a lot of might while under F3) and "Tenacious Defense" from valor traitline, which could provide quicker reaccess to F3 virtue. This is the basic idea, you go figure out the details 🧐 Looking forward to your responses!
  4. Logan Thackeray, guardian, with two swords: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/topic/65313-off-hand-sword/
  5. In retrospect I consider my post as slightly offtopic, I just got hyped by the fact Almorrah wearing two one-hand swords and jumping back and forth, if this is teasing a similar play style for the next guardian specialization that would be very interesting. So I pulled that Logan offhand sword thread out of my memory.
  6. And both are meant for his right hand. The first already is in his right hand. The second is sheathed at the left side of his hip, ready to be drawn with his... other right hand? Some is quite wrong there. Last time I saw him, he had only one right hand. You got a point.
  7. Yeah, that was what I unintentionally did to kill him. Very confusing fight. I wonder if other lifesteal effects can hurt Canach despite his imunity. Signet of Agony (Downed state skill #5) also hurts Canach.
  8. Logan Thackeray, guardian, wielding two swords: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/94469/off-hand-sword Just sayin'.
  9. That's exactly the same reason why I personally would like to have those engineer backpacks back.
  10. Ssme here. I looked at metabattle and there it says for "Furious Focus" one stack 6s vulnerability 1s ICD. But "Inspiring Virtue" is just shown with 6s duration and no explanation how much more damage.
  11. Refreshing this request it would be really nice to have those backpacks back as skins.
  12. Hello fellow guardians, what do you think about the following FB build for Openworld: It has zeal, radiance and of course FB as specializations. Basically it is a power FB build with interesting details and synergies. Personally I like best is the synergy between "Zealous Scepter" and "Loremaster" the combination is genius and there is nothing similar found in guardian (unfortunately because core guard is my favorite) or dragonhunter specializations.
  13. I remember in Guild Wars 1 your build templates are stored locally on your computer. It has its advantages and disadvantages. So when I read one could share templates using chat codes in Guild Wars 2, I thought what about a panel that allows saving build template chat codes to your local disk and loading locally stored chat codes and show them ingame in a list. You would avoid tabbing out the game, copy the chat code, tabbing into the game and pasting it into your chat box. The ingame build and gear template slots occupy database storage or generally speaking ArenaNet has to provide the infrastructure, which I think is the main reason why build template slots come with a price.
  14. Answers, whether you should invest your time and/or money into the game or not, were given. If you should continue, I just want to remark something quite important, if you care about chronological order of story: Season 2 and 3 of Living World contains story content which is chronologically located between Personal Story (base game) and Heart of Thorns. Season 4 comes after Heart of Thorns and before Path of Fire. You do not need those seasons to play the expansions, there are mutually independent, however you if you omit them, you kinda skip story.
  15. There is a build in another guardian forum thread, it states SB has no chance in 1v1: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/78130/firesage-build-pvp-p3-video
  16. Downed players or npcs can only be revived not healed by regular healing skills (including AOE heal). There are skills that help bringing downed people back to alive: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Revival
  17. You really played a lot of Guild Wars, if you notice sounds in real life that remind you of the game: I have a little case attached under my bicycle's seat, whenever it shakes, e. g. I switch from sidewalk height to the lower street height, the case shakes a little bit against my bicycle frame and it creates a sound. That sound sounds exactly like the ingame sound of guardian blocking hence losing aegis. So I am on my bicycle and I really thought, I have to renew my aegis. Now that is some internalization. Do you have such experiences (meaning associating game experiences in real life, not shaky bicycle cases)? TL;DR: My bike sounds like losing aegis.
  18. Here is a proposal: Replace Unscathed Contender with Unscathed Virtues: As long as all virtues are not on cooldown, this trait grants 10% increased damage. It grants an additional 10% if the guardian's virtues were not manifested. The last word is used in the description of the dragonhunter and firebrand altered virtues: Dragonhunter: The guardian's resolve has further increased, allowing virtues to be manifested as physical aspectsFirebrand: Gain knowledge of Elonian lore, igniting a fierce drive to purge corruption and manifesting your Virtues as mystic tomes. Gain access to Mantras.Referring to the manifested keyword could provide the distinction between core and DH/FB.The idea is as long as you did not use all virtue's active and as long as those virtues are the core ones, i.e. they did not manifest into spear of justice, tome of justice etc. those virtues are unscathed/pure so to speak. One could certainly come up with a better name, but I think you get the concept.Alternatively you could switch the dmg modifier and grant power instead, a feature Anet implemented recently in other traits (referring to traits Right-Hand Strength, Zealous Blade).
  19. I have a guardian I have never really warmed up to (level 80). Could you put that answer in English? I have absolutely no idea what you are saying ha ha :) Go for equipment with so called "Grieving" prefix (i. e. main attributes Power, Condition damage and additionally Precision, Ferocity). As for your traits, if you look at your specializations in the menu pick Zeal, Radiance and for your third "Virtues", "Firebrand" or "Dragonhunter". From left to right for each specialization for each major trait (those with square symbols in contrast to minor traits with hexagonal traits) you either choose upper, middle, or lower trait. Upper equals 1, middle equals 2 and lower equals 3. So @"RisenHowl.2419" suggests e. g. for Guardian zeal trait line to select for the adept level middle trait "Fiery Wrath", for the master level the lower trait "Kindled Zeal" and for the grandmaster level the upper trait "Eternal Armory".
  20. Suggestion for the hotfix: Grant players an item, so they can decide themselves, if they want to reset their stats. One must consider, if the item is account or character based, but basically it should be optional. Especially if you have multiple characters it is tedious work to reselect stats for all gear, although you even want to keep the current stats.
  21. Thank you @Ojimaru.8970 I have the HoT Expansion so I think I'm going to try your suggested method!
