Cool I deleted the old 1 and changed to exe and the launcher came up. downloaded and working!!!!! Thanks for all the help! ! ! ! 😃

Yes it is, been playing this game for 9 years and only since these new Beta patches this time around it has been doing this, it didn't happen when HOT Beta came out to try rev, I have a ticket going with ANET too see if they can help. I tried to change the temp to exe and it wouldn't let me.

It is installed an my M.2 drive, nothing else on this drive but GW2.

Hello, Once again after getting the patch, I get the message "This APP can not run on this PC". this is the second time this has happened to me, WHY, OH WHY does this keep happing?? How is patching changing the game that It can't run on my comp?? nothing has changed on my end, played the day before patch, went to work, came home got the patch and the message comes up. Now I have to redownload the game, yeah fun times, waiting for hours to play a game that I shouldn't have to redownload after every patch. ANET needs to fix this issue, or is this only me this happens too??

Yes, turned off Norton, still same window. So I just deleted the GW2 folder and started the download. luckily I had the Gw2Setup-64 in another folder.

Looks like that's what I'm going to do, but still strange how this update changed everything to not be able to run the game.

Well now what should I do LOL, tried to uninstall the game through windows10>settings>apps and I get the same window "This app can't run on your PC"

Yes my Gw2-64.exe is now Gw2-64.tmp, renamed it, same window.
