As much as I personally think its whack they added HP to Gem Store, I honestly don't see how it's pay2win. Unless somehow buying HP in gem store can make me solo every content in this game compared to someone who got it via usual game method, I see no real link between HP in gem store and pay2win

Dang, feels like everything went to Necro Sword effort wise. Between visuals and actual combat mechanics this feels the most fleshed out. Next closest thing we've seen with this much flair and detail on combat mechanics were Revenant Scepter and Ranger Dual Mace and they're not as strongly presented as Necro S/S.

All I can say is some people shouldn't run a business if they can't understand how shifts in the industry as a whole affects multiple businesses and how individual businesses have to change and adapt due to these changes.

Considering how most game expansions these days cost nearly as much as full game releases, SoTO seems alright for 25 bucks. And you know what? That's still more than what some AAA games offer. Case in point, recent COD game which was an absolute nothing burger sold at full price Seriously for 25 bucks there's more to SoTO than what most "modern" games offer for 70

What bandwagon? You're merely getting outraged over the fact that Legendaries are now more accessible and it makes you feel less special. I've seen more people genuinely promote players into getting the Legendary Starter kit because it's an incentive to actually do certain activities, heck WvW alone got an increase in players and it made WvW vets genuinely happy because it made the game mode more active. Dunno why you're so uppity about this entire thing when it's an overall net positive for the game

Genuinely curious how this will synergise with Vindicator just cuz Boon Renegade and Heal Herald seem covered with this weapon's current traits, Heal Herald moreso than Boon Ren

I'd like to think that they would be fine generating the stacks without Mace/Mace simply because most Support Druids use Warhorn offhand for boons with Call of the Wild and it would be whack if they didn't provide Nature stacks on their own (pun intended). If it all works the way it sounds like it would, then Mace/Mace can potentially replace Staff and Warhorn will finally have a main hand that better compliments it instead of going for either Sword or Axe

I just know exactly what ANet is making in terms of their core theme for Ranger. I'm not being disingenuous, I'm going by what the creators of the game are going with, I'm not shoehorning my personal take on a profession they built up lel

Never gonna understand old school mentality of "I suffered for it therefore you should too", especially since in this regard if they already have the Legendary, they can get another one and profit even better than those who never got it to begin with. If anything it adds more value to them because it puts gold in their account if they don't really need it lel

Having a few skills with the word "Hunter" on it doesn't make it a hunter, that's not how a theme works. If we followed that logic then every profession would still be a hunter, a hunter is merely someone who seeks and kills creatures as part of their activity, the means can be whatever they want. An engineer's toolkit is just as viable for hunting, same with mesmers and their illusions and Revenants with their Legendary Stances. That said, since one key element of Weapon Proficiency is to do away with E-Spec limitations, they can make Rifle Ranger fit with any of the existing E-Specs so long as the skills can fit the theme. In the case of Dual Mace, they're maintaining the whole "Power of Nature Heals" thing. Dunno how they'd do Rifle but it can be done
