Anet could do something where you buy a bunch of pieces of some item from the WV that, when combined, will give you 1 (one) GoB per WV season (totaling a high AA cost), but, yeah, I don't see that happening anytime soon either since the GoB is part of a core aspect of the game, same with the GoE.

Just made piece #1. I need to get more research notes (ez pz), and then I'll have piece #2. Convergence masteries + buff + motivations + weekly rifts = relatively quick essence compared to farming WvW skirmish tickets. 🫠

Honest suggestion at this point: Don't log into GW2 until they add the opt-in/opt-out options if you feel this strongly about it. Step back. Put down the phone. Get away from the computer. Take a break. Go on a walk. Admire whatever form of nature you might be blessed or cursed by. Depending on where you're at, there might be baby birds to watch, or kittens, or puppies, or ants, or bees, or whatever. And please go talk to someone because, my dude, this isn't healthy.

In all seriousness, getting to disable the accounts of (mostly) nurses who violated HIPAA by pulling up medical charts they weren't supposed to was always an interesting day at my work. It happened way more often than I expected, especially since it wasn't like my hospital was treating A-list celebrities. But now I'm gonna think about it every time I play Auramancer tempest 😂
