The only files that exist in the folder Guild wars 2 (which is windows xp 32 bit) are the following and also to mention that this issue has happened in 3 computers on the same time after yesterdays update.gw2.dat = 51526004 Kbgw2.exegw2.tmp =26.636 Kbgw.tmp =0 Kbcrash.dmp = 437.kbgw.loginclient.dllbin folder.The same applies exactly in all 3 computers.All of them have the same problem after the update

thank you.i have tried that already.it doesnt help.there is a problem in the gw2 folder that i need to do and i dont remember it.It has happened again in the past and i dont remember what was the proposed solution that i was given back then.

Hello to everybody.I can't play the game since yesterday.I have this permament error " unable to verify the Guild wars 2 executable.Please try again.if the problem persists,uninstall and reinstall the application,or contact customer support.Any Help please?

Thank you for your replies and help.I think that you are right.The only second though that i have is that i have already Guild Wars 2 running and playing normally withWindows XP's in 2008 year laptops and with less RAM and GHz processors.I guess in the end it has to do with quality of company (HP,Fujitsu,Compaq etc etc...) in combination with Graphic Cards pre- installed.Another thing is an old NVIDIA Geforce card and another thing an Intel Chipset.Thanks once again although the news are bad for me :)

Greetings to everyone :)I am having a problem with playing Guild Wars 2 in a Compaq Laptop with the specific hardware details :Intel Core Duo T5870 - 3 GB RAM -Graphic Card Mobile Intel ® Express Chipset Family - Windows 7 (32 bit) installed.Although the game is installed properly and making a character also worked,when i am pressing the button "Play" after the loading screen the game last approx 5-7 seconds before the message : Guild Wars Client has stopped working" appears.From the beggining of the game all the graphics seem to be going very slowly and the sound also is delayed.I've tried lowering the resolution to minimum and also play the game in window mode but nothing helped :((((( Name of problem : APPCRASHDisfunctional Unit Name : StackHash_e0b8and various other technical information details. Can anyone help or has an idea on what can be done? PS : There is no antivirus or firewall of any kind installed on the computer. Thanks in advance!

Delete Gw2.exe, then rename Gw2.tmp to Gw2.exe. When Gw2.exe is updated, it downloads the new version of Gw2.exe to Gw2.tmp, then launches Gw2.tmp and finishes the update by renaming itself (Gw2.tmp) to Gw2.exe. When this last step fails, Gw2.exe is left as a 0 byte file while Gw2.tmp is ~30 MB (because it's the actual Gw2.exe). It worked!! Thank you so much.You are awesome!

Thank you very much for your reply but altough you are right about the Gw2.tmp file which exists in there,there is also another file named Gw2.exe so i can't rename it twice.
