  2. 1. Make scourge so easy to play it can carry any actual bronze 'player' to become a gold 'player'. 2. Eventually the population ends up so small so that plat and legendary players consistently get in games with these gold 'players'. 3 ???? 4 SUCCESS!!!!!

Off season you have 3 PvP game modes: - WvW: for people who are in denial that they are bad at pvp so they wanna stomp others in an uneven fight - Unranked conquest: same as ranked, but 10 times worse - 2v2/3v3: for people who like to faceroll their keyboard and spam aoe 1. Theres literally zero reasons to have an "off-season" in this game. The only thing it does is give people time to try other games and potentially leave gw2 forever. 2. Make 2v2/3v3s permanent. Yes, it will split population, but do we really want people who prefer 2v2/3v3s in our conquest games? Just let the people who like to spam aoe (like scourges) go there instead of ruining conquest. Everybody happy.
  4. 1. This game lacks game modes 2. You have scourge players who like scourge, and everyone else in this game, who dislike scourge in pvp. Make a separate game mode 5v5 scourges only, and they can no longer q in normal games.
  5. Every season I end in plat 2, but after my placements im in gold 1 All this game has is a huge amount of monkeys + the top 100 roflstompcomittee that duoQs. Every season I have to cure endless amounts of kitten to have acceptable game quality again.

  7. Placed 350 points lower than my normal rating this afternoon and had nothing but apes and bots. Cya in 6 months!
  8. Last PVP season was very interesting. I've seen a lot of great gameplay. I have condensed the common pvp community knowledge into 10 simple tips so new players can also benefit from this: Thief caps close, then goes far. Use shadow step to get to close faster. Only attack enemy players that are on the node. An enemy player not on the node is irrelevant, so don't bother. If an enemy player stealths up, that player doesn't exist anymore. Just leave and be useful somewhere else. If you play support, your only job is to tank the node. If you die mid, keep repushing that mid node, even if your teammates decide to do something else. After winning the initial teamfight, always cleave all downed enemy players. Then don't push far, unless you've really thought about it for atleast 15 seconds. If an enemy player is harassing your close node, then 2v1 or 3v1 him until he is defeated. There is no point in going anywhere else if your close node isn't safe yet. If someone is upset and goes afk? Try to upset him even more. Then ask him nicely to atleast leave the game pls. After respawn, walk in a straight line to a node and stay there. You are where you should be in the most efficient way. If your teammates are losing the fight off node, that's their fault. Inform them about this in caps. Not winning is called "loose". Randomly mix up "then" and "than". Always contest the node. If you are not standing on that node, you simply don't understand conquest.

  10. When you soloq in plat tier, this is the most relevant factor that will determine if you gonna win or lose rating. The solution: add an option that u can enable, which will assure that the average rating of your teammates will be very close to your own rating I'll already type your reply here, so u don't have to bother: but that will increase q times But would that really always be the case?-> It could also increase the amount of people q'ing-> There is a group of players that would like to play a few games not in prime time, but wont do it because they are likely to roll in a clownfiesta and its throwing rating out of the window-> Give these players, probably a minority, who would rather have longer q time, a guarantuee not to be rolled into a clownfiesta-> This would encourage these players to actually play the game again and be less toxic
  11. Any team in a ranked game has 1 to 4 (depending on the rating) players with one purpose: being a tanky healthbar on a node and spamming aoe. They have no mechanical skills, they have no knowledge of the meta and don't know how to rotate. They just run in a straight line to a random node and faceroll their keyboard on that node. The worst thing about this: these people are very often the deciding factor in the game. These players end up with some average gold rating regardless of any skill or knowledge. Because of the low population, these players will also show up in high rated games. If they tank a capped node, they can sometimes add a lot of value to your team. This is certainly the case if one of the enemy tanky players decides to 1v1 that. A tanky player 1v1ing on an enemy capped node, suddenly has no value and becomes almost uncarryable. Every team in ranked has this type of braindead players and the completely random interactions between them almost always decide the outcome of the game.

Best frequent small changes -> what was promisedinfrequent big changes -> what we hadinfrequent small changes -> what we have nowWorstNr. 1 would be best for balance, but that's not what we got.Before rework the game was not balanced, but now it isn't either. The only difference now is that whatever is OP, stays OP for like a year until the meta changes and its boring af.Anet does not want to invest in a nr. 1 approach, so can we please just revert to strategy nr. 2 please.
  13. 90% of the ppl who took pvp seriously are gone. you are asking to a very small group of that remaining 10% who regularly post on the forums...I dont know what you're trying to achieve here but you might as well added only one option in this poll.

I've tried this for my utility skills: in corsair -> macro key G1 = 8 and G2 =9in gw2 -> utility skills = 8 and 9So when I press my "macro keys" G1 and G2 it uses the utility skills, however I can't just get it to function normally at all with keys like shadow step or whatever that has ground targeting.
