Spike boons and combo fields was the better way. Now it is too easy to get so much with little effort.

The number of times people escape despite this tells me it's a skill issue.

Nah. Just learn to fight thieves. Plus point is not to remove all boons, point it to remove permanent max boons.

Diamond rank is a pve achievement since most who have it just pve farmed eotm when that was possible. Best to just know who you're fighting and decide based on that.

They keep nerfing anti boon and corruption. So I guess just appeal to Anet and hope?...

The boon meta will be around until the end of the game when they shut down the servers. Longest meta in the game's lifespan and no end in sight...
