  1. Favorites for Unobtained items. Why? let's people more clearly organize new "chase" objectives if they are targeting skins. QoL when browsing the wardrobe looking for something. Additions: Consider adding small text like is displayed on Collections items to indicate where to start looking, or support direct linking to the wiki. Currency Tabs: For the love of all that is kitten, please consider tabs for currencies including main breaks for Central Tyria, HoT, and PoF, Dungeons, and Strikes, with additional optional checkboxes for keys / currency. It doesn't even have to be tabs, just anything to simplify things or allow for sorting options. Better Mentor System Consider adding the option for mentors to essentially "reverse LFG" for when players essentially want to sound an SoS. Can use existing LFG windows, but keep a pool of Mentors available for group invite. Add appropriate achievements or modest daily rewards for incentive.

This would not work for PvP I don't think, but what I'd love to see in general that would make me want to actually pursue legendary armor would be just a big stat pool in which we can allocate stats in any amount we choose out of the remaining stats in the pool. Total control and freedom to have any stat combo in the amounts of our choosing would truly be "legendary".

  4. So is WvW worth doing for a solo / small man roamer at this time in everyone's opinion?Are there any ways to cope with the current Meta I'm perhaps not familiar with as an older player? (have not played WvW since pre-HoT).Thanks for the feedback.
  5. Am I crazy in thinking the burst damage is a little nuts? It feels like I'm getting one shot left and right, and I don't remember things being this nuts back before HOT and POF. How are people handling WvW with the damage we're seeing now?

  7. so you think someone should be able to run a glass build, and be able to face tank multiple 3-5 second bursts from another glass class? Not exactly. I wish one glass build would be able to kill another in 3-5 seconds if they don't react, and at minimum 6-10 if they do react at least reasonably effectively. I'd prefer any 1v1 matchup to be a little more of a thinking man's game where you outsmart and outplay the enemy to win, not just land a lucky burst and it's simply over before it (any type of player against player competition) begins. I just don't find any fight in which the enemy (or I) is over without so much as any time to react....fun. Of course my opinion on what's "best" has been shaped by games that don't really share a similar combat system, but all I can say is that my best PvP experiences were from games with a slower pace (DAoC, WAR, certain periods of WoW, Wildstar, certain periods of ESO, FF, etc).
  8. I've mained thief the entire time I've played GW2 and I never liked it. I much prefer other game's iteration on stealth where it's a gap closer for melee and after you initiate you can't enter it again till combat breaks works better than shorter duration stealth that can be used constantly and in-combat. Would trade what I have now for a 45s duration stealth like Warhammer online had in a heartbeat.
  9. I tend to agree with the OP.TTK just always felt a little too fast in this game's PvP for me. I think that mainly comes from the fact that some burst combos just do what feels like an extraordinary amount of damage for the HP pools we have. I've often thought that increasing HP, decreasing damage, or some combination of both so that the fastest TTK on a Glass Cannon vs another Glass cannon should at least allow for enough reaction time to pop a ccbreak and use a heal skill and potentially drag it out to another rotation instead of just going poof would help tremendously.
  10. My issue with medium armor is that most of the Chest pieces are too coat-like. There aren't many options for a normal shirt or chest piece and even worse there are hardly any PANTS that aren't skin tight or tucked down into the shoes. I think the only one I've ever found was a reward from the player story near the end. It's great but it's the ONE pair that looks good.
  11. What utility skills do you guys use on your Reaper loadouts? For both PvP and PvE?Is Bloodmagic a decent specialization for Reaper? I know it might not be optimal but I can't help but want to try a more tanky Reaper with blood magic and Staff so I can be more tanky and surrvivable, how good or bad of an idea is this?
